Coast Cottage unelmakoti

Tervetuloa Centennial-mökkiin St. Simons Coast -mökit. Centennial Mökki sijaitsee vain muutaman askeleen päässä rannasta ja uima-altaista. Coast Cottages on yksi tärkeimmistä yöpymispaikoista St. Simons.

Centennial on upeat merinäkymät ja runsaasti tilaa koko perheellesi.

Kotimme on sisustettu kauniisti Beach Cottage -koristeella. Lattiat ovat kaunis mänty sydän.

Mökissä nukkuu 11 ja siinä on 1 king, 2 queen beds, 2 sarjaa pankot ja sohva. Meillä on jopa pack-n-play pienelle.

Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on 3 makuuhuonetta, 2 huoneissa on queen-vuoteet ja kolmannessa 2 sarjaa pankot, jotka mahtuvat 4. Lisäksi ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on pesukone ja kuivaaja.

Keittiö on 2. kerroksessa ja siinä on valkoiset kaapit ja graniittitasot w / aamiaisbaarilla. Keittiö avautuu perhehuoneeseen, jossa on 12 jalkaa katot. Perhehuoneessa on viihdekeskus, jossa on surround-ääni. Voit kytkeä I-Pod -laitteen tai toistaa suosikki-CD-levyjäsi. Meillä on kirjasto kirjoja ja videoita nautinnoksi. Perhehuoneessa on 47 'litteä t. v. ilmaisella elokuvalla ja t. v. näytä seulonta.

Master-makuuhuone sijaitsee ylimmässä kerroksessa, ja siinä on king-size-vuode ja upeat näkymät merelle. Makuuhuoneen auringonnousu on kaunis. Master-sviitissä on oma parveke. Kolmannessa kerroksessa on lasten viihdehuone taulu t. v .. Auringonhuone sijaitsee myös kolmannessa kerroksessa ja siinä on sohva ja upeat näkymät rannalle ja uima-altaalle. Auringonhuone on loistava paikka lapsille viettää aikaa omalla t. v. ja Playstation.

Meitä on yhteensä 4 t. v.'s mökillä. (perhehuone, aulahuone ja molemmat päämakuuhuoneet)

Mökissä on oma kaasugrilli, joka toimii maakaasulla. Sinun ei tarvitse huolehtia kaasun loppumisesta.

Tulet rakastamaan kahta upeaa meressä sijaitsevaa uima-allasta, paviljongia ja yksityistä rantayhteyttä.

Olemme sijaitsee parhaalla rannalla St. Simons. Meillä on ranta sekä laskuvedessä.

Our second stay at this property was just as wonderful as the first! Amazing location and amenities. Super close to the beach (complete with newly updated boardwalk), pools, and plenty of restaurants and fun nearby. Easy communication with the property manager with quick responses. Perfect Location on St. Simon's Island

We loved staying at this home on St. Simon's Island. Was very happy to be able to rent bikes for a few days through the property mgmt company as the shops/restaurants are a 10 min pedal away. Lots of room to spread out, and the kids liked having a bunk room to themselves. The beds were very comfortable. There are 2 pools at the end of the street and one is designated for young children. New decking around the pool. The home was very clean and well-maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

Month on the Beach - Wish It Was Longer

Steps from the beach in a very unique neighborhood complex and a short walk or bike ride to great places to eat. Everything was very accurate on-line. The three levels and 5 bedrooms arrangement is a very comfortable and efficient set-up. Property owners were friendly & always responsive. We highly recommend the location.

Beautiful and Wonderful

We loved it from the moment we got there. The rooms were big and the balcony on every floor was wonderful. The only problems we had was first floor never really got cool. The pot and pans were not clean. The waffle maker was not working. But other then that the owner was great and answer every question I asked. We will come back

Beautiful but needs maintenance

The property’s location is great. The layout is nice. But, the maintenance on it was horrible. There were multiple appliances that didn’t function most could be replaced for under $200. There were little to no towels and facecloths. The beach chairs are all rusty and the bugs in the house are what was the most surprising for the amount of money that is paid for a weekend in that house. My suggestion is that the owners find someone who will maintain the property for guests.

Family vacation

It’s always fun to go to the beach with family and this is a lovely area. The pool and the boardwalk to the beach are great for little ones. The house was nice but a little tired. It’s ready for updates. There are missing drawer handles in the kitchen. The stand alone shower on the third floor does not have hot water and very little water pressure. The sheets are nice and soft because of the many washings but there is no elastic left in the fitted sheets so not very comfortable. We made it work and had a lovely time in St. Simon’s. I would recommend this community but not this particular house.

Very nice house and location. Accommodated the family of 12 well. (Young adults used the bunk bed rooms). Just a few points: The website needs to be more accurate with the master on the 3rd floor as it has no private bath. It's required to strip the beds, put linens in washer, take out trash and vacuum. We think that should be optional as the fees should cover it. The bathroom on the 3rd floor has a walk in shower and a tub/shower. The walk in shower had no hot water. Since we had another shower and only staying 3 nights, we didn't call for service.

Great Location

My family really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, just a one minute walk to the pool and maybe 3 minutes to the beach. We spent a lot of time by the water thanks to the short distance! The house is bright, spacious, and comfy. There are lots of stairs which are impossible to avoid due to the kitchen on the second floor and bedrooms on first and third floors. The pots and pans in the kitchen are superior to any place we've stayed before. We were missing kitchen scissors and paper for note taking, but these were minor annoyances. Everything was very clean except for the ceiling fans and vents which are in need of dusting. The property owner was a pleasure to work with, a great communicator, and we would not hesitate to book again with her. If you have never been to St. Simons Island, there is a lot of public beach access and the entire island is walker/biker friendly. There are also several parks with playgrounds if you need a change of pace for the kids. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Great time, great value with a few minor flaws

The location cannot be beat. A few minor things in the house prevented it from being perfect. Some sheets were stained, glasses stained, pots and pans and utensils in subpar condition. The mattresses in the master bedroom were extremely soft, and I understand that's purely a preference, but it is worth noting. Overall, the A/C worked very well, except in the second bedroom upstairs. We used a small box fan which kept it cooler. One set of doors out to the main floor deck would not lock. None of this was a big enough to deal to interrupt our trip and the house was still excellent value compared to other houses in the same neighborhood. But a little further work would elevate this house to greater heights and better value. We had one issue with the power to the TV in the main room and the owner was very quick to come over and personally fix the malfunctioning power strip, which was appreciated.

Disappointing in EVERY way

Despite some reservations I had about the decor/furnishings of this house based on the pictures, I put great weight on the positive reviews and booked Centennial Cottage for my family. Unfortunately, the house was disappointing in many ways, but worst of all, the owners made repeated, unannounced visits to the house during our stay (they apparently own a home down the street), which made us very uncomfortable. They rang the doorbell one afternoon, waking my baby up from his nap, because they said they needed to get their bikes from the house. The next day, they came by the house at least twice to get a bocce ball set from an interior closet. They never called or emailed me to give us notice that they were coming by. This was unprofessional and inappropriate, and I caution potential renters because everyone expects a certain level of privacy when you rent a vacation home, and these owners do not respect that privacy. In addition, the house is not accurately described. While it has a lot of potential, it has not been "recently remodeled" and is not "beautifully decorated" with "new" furniture - the owners have furnished it with old, mismatched furniture; dingy, worn linens; uncomfortable beds and pillows; a small, old TV with faded color on the left third of the screen that they claim to be an "entertainment center" in the main living area; and average kitchen appliances. The house is also not well maintained - when we arrived, we had to kill a roach and other bugs, numerous light bulbs were out, the toilets were dirty, the locks on all balcony doors were broken (a serious safety risk), and the gas grill was covered with caked on grease and barely working. I emailed the owner immediately about the bugs and asked her to have someone come out and spray - she didn't respond until 2 days later and only offered to have her husband spray (not an exterminator). When we discovered the grill condition, we were forced to ask my sister to bring a charcoal grill because we had a freezer of meat and desperately needed a grill (we have small children and can't dine out often). During one of their numerous drop-ins, after we had told them about the grill condition, the owner "caught" us using the charcoal grill and smugly scolded us instead of offering a solution (he finally replaced it). We love Coast Cottages, and I highly recommend the area for the proximity to the beach and the pools, but this home - and the owners, in particular - gave us a bad experience.
