Liitteenä oleva master-kylpyamme tarjoaa graniittilaatan, täydellisen suihkun / ammeen ja suuren peilikotelon. Vierashuoneessa on parivuode ja suuri sisäänrakennettu vaatekaappi. Hallissa on toinen kylpyamme, jossa on mukautetut laatatyöt ja suihkukaappi. Toisen kerroksen parvi, jossa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta, lisää nukkumatilaa, ja ovi huoneeseen mahdollistaa yksityisyyden. Parvella on myös oma parveke, jolta on upeat näkymät Persianlahden vesille. Great location & porch!

Great house and location directly across from beach access and a very short walk to the square. Updates bathrooms and comfortable beds. Clean property, many kitchen utensils and cookware, only needs some more wine glasses.

Mattresses need replacing

Beautiful home with lots of beach toys and awesome deck. We loved everything except the noise from the main road at night and the beds. We have never stayed on the main road and it got loud 9-11pm+. We were surprised there is no noise enforcement on that main road. The same cars thump music and drive up and down that street past 10pm. It shook the house at times. The two twin beds are hard as a rock. My 12 year old couldn’t sleep and she has never complained about a mattress and sleeps on the floor at sleepovers. When I felt the mattresses, they like felt like boards and had a little 1 inch pad on top. The “full bed” in the second bedroom is oddly short. I’m 5’9” and had to sleep diagonally across the bed. Two adults would be challenged to sleep in that bed. The rest of the house is great and fun so replacing one short bed and getting good mattresses for the twins beds will help. The proximity to the beach is a big plus. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location! Will definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at Fairwinds. This location is STEPS from the beach and 2 very short blocks from the Town Center. The property was clean and well stocked, the standalone ice maker was a nice bonus! It is open and roomy for a cottage- with tons of porch space. We would definitely rent again!

Mite Infestation in the Kitchen

I am displeased to say the least. There was a mite Infestation in the kitchen on the counters, walls, and cupboards. This was noticed the evening after check in after bringing groceries in from Publix. I did not notice initially because they were tiny black specs and it blended with the granite. The bags became covered in these and I immediately texted the maintenance number with videos and pictures. My husband called the after hour maintenance and the guy said he would try to come over but he was busy. Day 2-He never showed up and the next morning, we called and texted again, someone came with home insect spray and said it wouldn’t work, but they would have to get approval from the owners to call the pest control company. Day 3-Again, another day with not hearing back and continued mites, a few less because I was killing them constantly. We had to throw away so much food. We had to keep ALL FOOD in the refrigerator to keep the bugs out. Did I mention we had our 2 and a half year old grandson, 6 month old grandson, daughter in law and our teenage daughter with us. Horrible could not cook in the kitchen. Day 4-called again, someone came back very nice, all of the maintenance people were very nice. He filled holes in the wood around cabinets and under the sink where he thought they might be coming in and put traps out. We have little ones with us so we had to keep them out of the kitchen. He said he would recommend pest control and hoped the owners would approve. Day 5-pest control came. Much less mites on day 5, honestly tired of calling and they just showed up, an answered prayer. Day 6-only one here and there. I asked initially to be moved, then again on day 2, it was apparent that wasn’t happening. Asked for a credit was told by Casey and Kristen at Sandpiper they would look into it and talk to the owners. I asked daily, no one ever looked into it. Asked for a late check out when we left today, check out is at 10, they got back with me granting it at 9:37 and again in text and on the phone asked about the credit, they would not acknowledge my question, ignored it. I paid over $4,000 for a mite Infestation and we could not use our kitchen to cook meals. We had to eat out which cost a fortune for 2 meals a day, but it was plain gross to cook with bugs, tiny specs crawling around. We checked out at 12. The cleaning lady came over and said aren’t you glad I let you check out late, what is wrong with people. Rude!

Perfect for our family!

We were so so pleased with our stay at Fair Winds! All communication was so easy when needed with the rental company, and any questions answered promptly. This was possibly the cleanest beach rental i've ever stayed in - not a grain of sand to be found. It felt like home! There were lots of kitchen supplies there to use, and the king bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect - we walked and biked all over Seaside, and beach access is directly across the street. It was also a very quiet street. Overall, it was such a wonderful stay!

Great location

Over all good experience. Bathrooms and bathroom fixtures need up dating and there are light switches every where that doesn't work. Was a little neverous about wiring because of switches not working. Location was great easy access to everything.

Great location!

The cottage was perfect for our week at the beach. The location couldn't have been better. Literally across the street from the beach access and close to pools, tennis courts and main square. Our kids loved the twin room that felt like a tree house! Comfortable beds, fluffy towels and everything you need in the kitchen.

Best Location

South winds, 12 Savannah, was the best location we’ve found in Seaside for our present needs. My husband and I walked to Modica each morning for coffee and tea, and we all had easy access directly across the street from the Savannah Street Beach Pavilion. The kids, all middle and high school ages, ran in and out with easy access to town. We would love to include a stay at this home yearly for the comfort and convenience!

April 2017 Stay

Terrific location - very convenient for our multigenerational family --the home is a bit dated but well maintained and the kitchen has all the needed appliances. Our only drawback was lack of closet space -- the owners have most of the closets closets filled with their personal items.

March 2017 Stay

We had a wonderful week at Fair Winds! We settled in quickly and realized we might not use our car all week. The beach is very close and so beautiful. We loved biking to the pool and walking to restaurants. The kitchen is well-equipped and the linens were plentiful. The noise from 30a didn't bother us - we felt like we were in the heart of it all on the screened porch. We hope to return to Seaside and Fair Winds!

Our vacation experience...

The first thing we noticed pulling up was that the location was perfect! It was the first house on the road off of 30A so it was right across the street from the beach and we could people watch from the screened in front porch! We loved that porch. My boys loved having the loft as their own "boys only" spot. They said it felt like a cool tree house. My husband and I loved having the bikes. We biked everywhere and didn't use our car once the whole time we stayed. We enjoyed having the grill for cookouts and the house was big enough to have our friends over to entertain. The house was stocked well in the kitchen, we appreciated that! Everything was very nice and comfortable. Thank you for allowing our family to stay in your wonderful beach house. We will definitely make this our spot every time we visit Seaside!

February 2017 Stay

Not a good experience. All of the beds and pillows were so uncomfortable. We tossed and turned all night no matter where we slept. Caused lots of unnecessary aches and pains for my husband and I. The floor was dirty, tacky and sandy from the moment we got there. The towels smelled like cigarette smoke. Sandpiper was notified about these things but no refund was issued nor was anything done to resolve or help it. Had trouble accessing internet as well. The only positive was location.

May 2016 Stay

Location was amazing!!! Fairwinds was the perfect beach house for our family. We loved being on the corner of Savannah st and 30a. The beach pavilion was right across street! Quicker and easier than staying in beachfront condo and having to take elevators, etc! We never used beach buggy we brought even with a baby. We loved the screened in porch and swing. Loved the outdoor shower. Loved the soft colors of the house. The loft area and balcony were perfect for two children. The park was at the end of the street. Easy walk or bike ride. We love this house and location so much! We will stay here the next time we visit!

Dream vacation

As soon as we walked in the door we were so impressed with the beachy, homey feeling. Cottage was very clean, and well furnished. It had everything we needed including beach towels. I really slept 4 very comfortably. Would have felt tight with 2 more people unless they were children. Location was perfect being right across the street from the beach access. You always had a nice breeze on the front porch and it was great for people watching. Not really a noise problem. The bikes might have been our favorite part of the trip. 2 included and we rented 2 more from Big fish. The first morning we were greeted with a dozen donuts and a quart of milk from Big Fish bike rentals. What a great surprise. Would go back to Seaside in a heart beat and would rent this cottage again.

Great Location Great House

Fair winds was perfect because of its location close to the beach. Also it met our families needs perfectly. We have 2 children 12 and 10 so they each had their own room. Our son took the loft,which he loved, and our daughter took the guest bed. Our family loved the swing on the porch! We enjoyed many evenings out there.Close to the beach and convenient to town, Our daughter loved to walk to Frostbites. Also we loved the kitchen because it was well stocked.

Great experience

Fair Winds was exactly as advertised. Absolutely perfect location with a very short walk to both beach and center of town. The cottage was perfect size for our family of 4. I look forward to spending more time at Fair Winds in the future. I will definitely recommend to all my friends.

Happy in Seaside

My husband and I spent a week in Fair Winds cottage in October. It was delightful. The location was across the short street from the beach and a couple of blocks from town center. All the living area is on one level, which is perfect for us, along with a small loft and lookout balcony. The wrap around porch was fun for watching street activity. Mark and his staff were very pleasant and professional. We will be back!

Annual Seaside Family Vacation

We (family of 4 and 2 grandparents) stayed for a week at this very clean and well appointed house. We all had ample room as far as sleeping and relaxing areas. The house is very tastefully decorated and comfortable, we loved the bright colors and decor and the wonderful wrap-around porch. As far as location, we have stayed many times in Seaside and this was one of the best locations as far as beach walking/toting everything there. The only con about the location was that the master bedroom faced 30A and could get very noisy at night and early in the am with people walking by on the sidewalk. Since we are early risers this was not so much a problem in the am but did awaken us several times at night. The mattress in the master bedroom could use a replacement, it was clear just on site before we ever slept in it that the king mattress had 2 well formed dips on each side where most had slept. If you didn't sleep in those areas, you felt as if you were going uphill. The second downstairs bedroom mattress was a little hard according to my in-laws but I am sure that goes with whatever preference one has. Our children loved the upstairs bunk room and slept very well there. We were very pleased on arrival to note that the kitchen had an ice maker with the freezer and a separate free standing one. Since we are a beach family and spend most of our time there, this was a pleasant surprise to find since it would provide ice for the ice chest for the day-long beach trips. Unfortunately by Tues. (3 days after we arrived) the free standing ice maker stopped working. We had not used the freezer one since we had the other and upon trying to switch to that one, it did not work either. I called Sandpiper Rentals and they said someone would be out to fix it soon. A very nice gentlman (sorry I forgot his name) came and brought 2 large bags of ice and checked the ice-makers. There was nothing he could fix so he said a repairman would come the next day. He continued to bring us ice every day which we appreciated. I don't know why but no repairman ever came or was mentioned again but we had enough ice with what was brought daily. Being a one story house was great for my elderly inlaws. The many board games that we all enjoyed playing will make great memories. Seaside is such a special place, thanks for a memorable vacation and sharing your home with us. We would definitely reccommend this house with a fixed ice maker and better mattresses as improvements.

Great Vacation

We had a great vacation with our 6, 3, and 1 y/o children. Sonshine Blessings offered plenty of space for us all to spread out and get great sleep. Upon arrival the house was very clean. It has such great access to the beach (which makes a huge difference with little kiddos) and just a few blocks from the Seaside town square. The home has a great beachy decor and was relatively kid safe. We only used our car twice, one time being a trip to the Publix that is 1 mile away. The house has a great ice maker, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds/furniture, and beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas that were provided. We grilled out a few nights, so it is doable but not the greatest grill if you are going to be making massive amounts of food. You need to bring your own beach towels and will also need to plan on doing multiple loads of laundry if you want clean towels throughout the week. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that I really felt like we could have used a "mid week" housekeeping visit (towels, refresh amenities, garbage bags, etc). All in all, a great vacation. We would love to stay at Sonshine Blessings again.
