Tule ja oleskele yhdellä viimeisistä tosi Havaijin trooppisista alueista. Hale Manoa sijaitsee lähellä kuvankaunis Manoa Falls. Talo on ilmastoitu uusilla yksiköillä tänä vuonna.

Nauti tästä äskettäin sisustetusta kolmen makuuhuoneen, kahden kylpykotista, joka on kohti laituria ja vuoria etelään. Suuri peitetty lanai vangitsee rauhallisen näkymän ja tarjoaa samalla suojan tuulen ja tuulen vaikutuksilta. Na Palin rannikkopolun pää on vajaan kahden mailin päässä. Hanalei Town on noin 7 mailin päässä, ostosmahdollisuuksia, päivittäistavaroita ja ruokailutila. Fantastic home in a great location

Beautiful home, perfect for our family. Only a short walk from Tunnels beach, with everything you could want at the home or to take the beach. We loved the outside shower and bathtub and the views from the balcony. Sad to be leaving! We will definitely stay again when we come back to Kauai.

Beautiful Home and Location

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful property. We love the location - yes if you want to go anywhere it can be a drive but what a beautiful drive it is! We love that it is very spacious, a very short walk to the ocean/beach and only about 1 1/2 mile from the end of the road and the Napali coastline. The back of the property has wonderful views of the magnificient cliffs. The owner is so kind and provides anything a person could want for the beach including a wagon if you have too much to carry! We hope for a third stay here again in a couple years!!

We loved our time here. Our host was responsive, kind, and accommodating. The house is in great shape with excellent amenities, especially beach equipment. And it’s walking distance from one of the best beaches in the world. What more is there to say?

Great time on the North Shore

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was great, awesome knife set. The beds were comfy. Close to the beaches, great to walk to mornings till evenings. We liked the local vibe, very relaxing and quiet. Loved all the fun animal sightings out back.

Love the peaceful location

I love this location. The lenai looks out onto nature and we enjoyed watching local cows meander through. The outdoor shower and bath are wonderful.

Best end of the road place

Rain or shine, this is the perfect place: 2 blocks walk to the beach, giant covered porch overlooking a jungle covered mountain, shower outside listening to bird calls, and cross three one way bridges from town. You feel like you’re staying at the end of the world and you’re happy to be there.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The house was lovely and had the most incredible views of the surrounding mountains from the back deck. Road noise was barely noticeable but birds calls were everywhere (including the wild roosters). We loved snorkeling at Tunnels beach with our kids and exploring the town of Hanalei. The house was clean and very well provisioned. We certainly hope we get an opportunity to come back!

Running it back at Tunnels

Stayed here exactly two years ago and knew we had to come back. The house and location are perfect and, despite the short drive from Hanalei (which never gets old), feels like you're at the end of the world. The property has everything you could need on site and at the beach. Not sure if the grapefruit tree is part of this house or the neighbors', but next time I'm going to pluck one :)!

Quiet, serene, cosy, with AC home.

Very clean and nice home. Kitchen was well stocked, rooms had nice comfortable beds. Size of home is perfect for 6. Outside shower takes some getting use to but it has nice mountain view. Glad the house came with AC because it got pretty hot during the day. Perfect location for north side Kauai, with Mountain View and close to nice beaches and kalalau trail head.

Perfect beach house!

My family absolutely loved our stay here! Our favorites were the outdoor shower (such an amazing experience) and the close location to Tunnels Beach, but the extra amenities were also very thoughtful. There were beach chairs, snorkel gear, a wagon, coolers, etc in the downstairs laundry room; tons of towels and beach towels, first aid kits and pretty much everything we might have needed. Tunnels Beach is just a short walk to the right from the house (go slightly past mile marker 8 and you’ll see the YMCA Camp Naue sign on the left side of a dirt road, walk down that dirt road a block or less and when the road turns to the right you continue straight along the white fence line directly to the beach). Loved the air conditioning in the afternoons after the heat of the beach and also sitting outside on the deck in the evenings hoping to catch a glimpse of the horses and donkey. If it rains (which it did on us a lot), just enjoy a nice soak in the jacuzzi tub outside. 😊

Air Conditioned and Clean!

We love this part of Kauai and were so excited we were able to stay here despite the flooding they experienced last year. We literally had the beaches to ourselves. It took about a day for the air conditioning to really kick in as they are individual units in each room, but it was so nice an cool. We loved taking showers outside and if we needed anything at all we could reach out to friendly neighbors and the cleaner. While the property is close to Tunnels, I would caution on walking there with beach equipment. It is much easier to have someone drive you there and drop off your things if there is no parking available. We loved our stay!

Spacious home near Tunnels

We just returned from a week in this beautiful home. It is even nicer than the pictures suggest! There have been upgrades to the bedding and other decor, and it is really nicely done. The house has just about everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked, nice grill on the lanai, tons of kids games and beach toys as well as chairs and snorkel stuff. It is also very spacious and has more than adequate ventilation. We have stayed on the north shore 4 times now. This house is in a FANTASTIC location and within easy walking distance to Tunnels and Kepuhi point. Worth mentioning are two factors that make this property noisier than others in the area: 1-it backs up to the mountain, and the chickens live and sleep in the forested area directly behind the house and they are loud (I own a dozen chickens and have roosters at home and actually love the noises they make, but they are considerably noisier here than at other properties we've stayed at just down the road; so just be prepared), and also 2-as another reviewer mentioned, there are 3 huge beautiful pines in front by the road, but not much else, so there is A LOT of road noise in the front bedrooms. The bed is super comfy, but a light sleeper might not do well in the front room. Also, I'm not sure how I missed it based on the pictures and descriptions on here, but the outdoor shower off the master bedroom is not private. It is covered on two sides but also is connected to (and open to) the back lanai. Not an issue for us, but it might have been had we been traveling with another family as we often do. We found it to be awesome. So here's the one issue that brought this property down to 4 from 5 stars for me: the correspondence from the owner was not good. Bad, in fact. 30 days out from our arrival I still had not gotten any emails from Judy. When I finally did, after emailing her twice, 3 weeks before our arrival she made a mistake and refunded me our deposit. I inquired about specific items being available, and her responses were abrupt, unfriendly and unwelcoming. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. I would have actually given this place a 3 star rating if it weren't for the on-island property manager, Beaux. She was amazing. Answered every single question I had, was super thorough describing a few nuances of the house, called to check on us before we left, and really exhibited the spirit of aloha which we have come to expect from Kauai! So, mahalo, Beaux! We had a wonderful trip.

First, the positives. . .well stocked kitchen, clean unit, plenty of beach equipment/ snorkel gear/ chairs/ beach towels.Negatives. . .1. Location , location, location; this house is more “than a short walk” to the beach when you factor in walking to the part of Tunnels Beach with the good snorkeling and shaded beach area. It took well over 20 minutes to get there on a narrow, busy street. So if your idea of going to Kauai is to enjoy the beach, just know that this does not have convenient beach access.2. The house is old and needs a remodel / painting / TLC. For example, the outside deck is worn (looks like Ipe deck—but not well maintained) with rusting table/ chairs. Based on the cost of the unit, I would expected the inside of the house to look less dated. The entire inside needs to be freshened up to 2025.3. The outside shower. I don’t get the previous reviews that glow about this outside shower. Think childhood camp experience. It’s a cheap unit with a PVC pipe at the bottom, a cheap shower bottom and a flimsy curtain separating you from the your neighbors. It’s an overall cheap renovation solution to get a full 2nd bath (toilet is inside and shower/tub are outside on the deck). It could’ve been so much better executed.4. The washer and dryer. The washer and dryer are separate from the main facilities at the ground floor (in a storage closet) with the beach supplies and water heater. Not very convenient.

Don’t Miss Out

Awesome property, great management, amazing location! Stayed a week with four adults and three children. Plenty of room with three separate bedrooms and a huge back patio. Internet worked great and our Verizon phones still had a signal. We’ve been to the island before and stayed in a beautiful resort. This was our first time renting a vacation house. It will definitely be the new standard. Don’t miss out on this amazing property. If you’re not familiar with Kauai, this property is the area you want to stay! Secluded, walking distance to the best snorkeling, and surrounded by nature. Solid 5 Stars.

Just like home

The location can’t be beat, and the house is so comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need has been anticipated and stocked. The mattresses are so comfy. The back deck is peaceful and lush.
