Friend trip

A group of us came to Eugene to run the Eugene 1/2 and full marathons. The house was roomy and only about a 10 minute drive from where the race started and ended. Convenient and comfortable.

family farm house downtown

Great location and a beautiful house and yard. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was very spacious . And the parking was especially nice. There was a private lot for four - six cars and it was surrounded by a fence and accessed through a locked gate. Very secure. We loved it and would rent it again. And the host was very nice and easy to reach.

Great communication and beautiful old home

Staying in a historic home is very charming. That said, it is a historic home and you should expect finishes and function to match that description.As is stated in the description, road noise is significant, and most of the curtains in the home are sheer and do not block out much daylight. Host was very responsive and helpful. Parking is more than adequate and the location is great in terms of proximity to major Eugene sites.

Great potential!

The house was large and accommodated our large party. The listing did not include information regarding # of bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs/downstairs, which would have been nice since my 80 year old mother was with us and we would have preferred a bedroom downstairs. Upon arrival, we soon discovered the fireplace did not work. The owner was very responsive & arrived the next morning with pastries and fixed it. Overall, the house has a lot of potential and we understand, after speaking with the owner, that it is a work in progress. An interior coat of paint and newer furniture, including a couch, would make the place more inviting. The backyard is nicely landscaped with 3 newer picnic tables and stringed lights. Unfortunately, the house is on a busy street and road work was taking place during our stay.
