Yellowstone Valley Overlook - 10 acres 5 minutes from Billings

Welcome to Montana's big skies! This spacious home features amazing views in all directions, and nearly total privacy on 10 acres. Situated on the rimrocks at the west end of Billings Montana, this home is a perfect setting for star gazing (telescope with cell phone attachment is included for celestial photography). There is a lot of wildlife to be seen including mule deer, hawks, eagles, turkeys, meadowlarks, wood peckers, pheasants, mountain blue birds, and more. Fireworks are visible across the valley around the 4th of July and New Years Day. Enjoy incredibly beautiful sunrises and sunsets, stormy skies, and celestial events.

The interior features vaulted ceilings and plenty of space for gatherings, and also allows space for privacy. It features a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor areas to relax and unwind, luxurious towels and linens, and super-comfy beds, and we provide a pack-and-play and a high chair for those traveling with small children.

Working remotely? There is an office nook available ready for your laptop complete with high speed internet, a docking station, dual monitors, and a fabulous view.

Please note this property sits up on the rimrocks overlooking Billings and is accessed by a short section of steep gravel road. The road can get muddy in rainy conditions and icy or snowy in the winter. AWD or 4WD is recommended and may be required at some times during the year. Please pause at the top to watch for traffic climbing the hill and give them right of way.

Spectacular!

Stayed for the weekend during a soccer tournament. Location spectacular for unwinding, but close enough to amenities and fields. Excellent communication with host. Beautiful home, clean, comfortable, and anything incidentals you may need.

We had a group of adventurous boys with us. This was the perfect location, had enough bedrooms and bathrooms. It was a great house for a great price. Property owner was great and communicated well with us.

Beautiful, comfortable holiday gathering

We hosted a wonderful family gathering and the house was excellent! We loved the location, close to Billings but not in town, with great views. Our dog could use the doggy door to get to the fenced area, and everyone was comfortable in the clean, well-appointed rooms. There are lots of thoughtful touches, such as power strips, kitchen supplies, even a Christmas tree. We would stay again.

The view!!!

Pictures on VRBO site do not do it justice. The home is spacious, comfortable, and the kitchen is great with most everything you could need. Views of the sunset from the front porch and views of the sunrise from the back deck. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.

I had a great stay

The house was fantastic. I woke up and webt on the back porch and sipped tea as a heard of deer grazed in the yard. The only complaint i have about anything was that due to all the glass in the living room it got very warm despite the ac but i like the cold so normal people will probally be fine. Great experience will probally book again next time i am on billings

Amazing Month in Montana

My family stayed at this location for the month of July and it truly was a home-away-from-home. The host was great, sharing tips and favorites and checking in on us. We were able to catch a baseball game, send our kids to camps, and use it as base of operations to vising National Parks in the area. We would be thrilled to stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

Month long stay

This property was amazing from the view, setup, property manager and overall accommodations. We had a gap between leaving previous home and closing on new home, this property was our home for a month. The owner was incredibly kind and very helpful even pointing out when we should look for Northern Lights. Truly a blessing to stay here

Expansive Views

We chose this place because of its proximity to our family in West Billings. The home is older but impeccably clean and nicely updated. Everyone was very comfortable here. We fell in love with the expansive views both day and night.. just gorgeous!

Moonlight over the Rimrocks

Very clean, great floor plan for our group. Grandparents and dog downstairs. Parents and young kids with adjacent bedrooms. Right on the edge of town, sitting on a plateau overlooking the Yellowstone Valley, a half mile from wild looking country to the west, a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores to the east. Thoughtfully appointed, cabinets and drawers labeled with the contents, a great fenced in area with a dog door, It was perfect for our hunting/family trip.

We had a great stay at this home. We had originally booked at a hotel, but after one night stay there, I was sick! I quickly looked up VRBOs and found this one. Becky was so accommodating and flexible. We so appreciate your help. It was plenty big enough for the 6 of us! Great kitchen and eating area and at the end of each night after the events ended, we all congregated in the living room to reminisce about the day's activities and enjoy an adult beverage! Would definitely stay here again!

Breath taking views from a cozy home.

Working with this property manager was a pleasure. We were never left questioning anything. Very straight forward and clear. The views from this property are nothing short of spectacular. We were impressed with the comfort of the furniture and especially the beds. When we come back to Billings again, we will try our best to book this incredible property!

Can I give this place more than 5 stars please?!

I'm not really sure where to begin telling you how fantastic, clean and quiet this house is. For starters, it's ridiculously beautiful. The pictures are deceptive in the best way- it's even *more* stunning in real life! And peaceful beyond words. I had a mini-coma every night on those amazing mattresses, pillows and linens. All we could hear was the wind and occasional eagle. It is immaculately clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you think you need, plus all the stuff you WILL need but forgot to bring yourself. The scenery surrounding this place is positively surreal! It's so beautiful you can have a wedding in the front yard with no other decor and it is PICTURE PERFECT (yeah, we got married here!). And I can't say enough positive things about the property owner. She is a WONDERFUL person who was always mindful of our comfort and privacy. It was so hard to leave this place! Don't hesitate to book this property!

Great views and everything you'll need!!

Fully enjoyed this fully appointed and sufficiently air conditioned home with stunning views in all directions. We enjoyed both sunrise and sunset views from the home and lacked for nothing.
