"Old Glory" Cottage is a Leland jewel box. Re-imagined and designed by Oliver Street Design. The interior is a delightful welcoming blend of modern and vintage elements. All new kitchen and full bath with high end Viking appliances, deep navy blue cabinets. Whimsical, nautical, modern yet warm and cozy design schemes Danish and mid century antiques blended with contemporary cottage details and curated artwork for guests to enjoy. Exterior spaces are inviting guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of river, sit by the fire bowl, or enjoy a yard game with friends. there is an outdoor shower for convenience when returning from the beach or long day on the lake. the lower level multi purpose space has a laundry area and open space for games or remote work. the cottage is a true bungalow>small, efficient, well appointed, with terrific outdoor space close to everything the village has to offer. Directly across the street from the marina for ease of access to boating. Boat launch is off River St a few steps away. Easy access to Lake Leelanau at the end of Chandler or 4th Streets for kayaking and paddle boarding on Lake Leelanau. Large yard to spread out for yard games, BBQs, fires around the solo fire bowl. Walk or bike to ALL town has to offer. Easy access to Lake Michigan beaches off North Street or Reynolds. Always popular VANS Beach is an 9 minute walk. Visit the library or sit outside and listen to the bagpipes at church on Saturday evenings across the river. Truly special location.

Modern cottage style blended with mid century decor makes for a truly unique stay experience. Cottage was perfect for a couple's get-away. Leland is a quaint lake town. We were able to walk to town center and saw some beautiful summer sunsets. Cottage was wonderful and as described in the listing. Communication and check-in process were top-notch. Highly recommended!

Quaint cottage, great location.
The village of Leland is the best place to stay — walking distance to shopping, food, beach and more. The Old Glory cottage was quaint and cozy and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The outdoor shower was very cool! We will definitely stay here again + will recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

the Old Glory cottage was thoughtfully re-imagined and designed by the acclaimed designer Fleming Boyd and her design firm Olive Street Design. The design is a blend of modern and vintage details. Guests want to feel like they are getting away to have an authentic "Up North" Michigan experience. There are 2 bedrooms/1 bath on the main floor, a large modern kitchen, and living/dining space on the first floor. the lower level is a multi purpose space with laundry provided and an open area for games, remote work, exercise/working out, yoga. the location is ideal as it sits in the center of all the village of Leland has to offer. Easy walking to everything including (3) Lake Leelanau accesses and (4) Lake Michigan accesses. Bike or walk to dinner, sunsets, ice cream, tennis, pickle ball, golf, shopping, library! Paddleboard on the river across the street out to Lake Leelanau.
the property is conveniently located, fresh new modern space - small yet cozy/comfortable, great storage in the garage for kayaks/paddleboards/bikes, spacious outdoor area for relaxation, yard games.
