Welcome to this fully renovated space at the heart of Huntsville Downtown. Steps away from the main downtown water docs and right next to the Fresh Co plaza, this is the ideal place to call home away from home.

What the local's would know as the Purple House which was a music shop, now is a stylish and unique property to stay in. With every corner of the home curated to be Insta worthy, make sure you plan to click plenty pictures!

We are located at the upper level of the purple house in the images! The upper floor has only this unit and a separate entrance that has stairs leading straight to it. The lower level is a shop that is not occupied currently, and residences at the back. Once you enter, this is a private and comfortable space for your stay!

Golf trip accomodation

Overall good ang for my buck @ 111 / night ... anything over athat or clsoe to a hotel price per night and I would go to hotel - UNLESS you need / want the kitchen.Amazing location - walk to all food & dowtown Overall clean and good but air conditioning is portable unit and doesn't work well for bedrooms Renos are JUST finishes so floors are wonky and doors don't close easy - bathroom has some mildew smell at times .... again, overall nice look - just not top end renos ... complete look is all IKEA which is fine & beds are comfyOwner was VERY quick to respond to all communication & check in was easy and good

We were pleased with this place it was perfect for our weekend trip. Hostess was very nice and friendly , the apartment was clean and suitable for all our needs for a great weekend.

Good for a short term stay

Overall our 3 night stay was pleasant. The host/manager communicated well to provide all the information, although it would have been more convenient if it was provided in a message or document the day before checking in without having to ask targeted questions. Also, asked for early check in (3pm instead of 4pm), but did not receive confirmation on the day of as expected, so we arrived just after 4pm to check in to find the cleaner just starting to clean the space. Created a bit of an issue as we have two young children and were hoping to settle in and wash up before dinner. Cleaner was very friendly and let us bring our stuff up to the apartment, but we couldn’t set up kids beds or get washed up while cleaning was happening. Beds were reasonably comfortable and manager purchased a high chair for our use during our stay, which was very helpful. Pros: good location, big kitchen, nice layout, lots of space, parking available, cute decor. Cons: cleanliness was lacking in some areas, floors were not swept well, kitchen sink was left full of dirty water, some towels had dirt/stains, one bedspread was stained, and the bathroom sink was clogged the entire stay. Also, many finishes in the space look nice, but lack quality/functionality. TV remotes did not work. Could turn the tv on, but could not change volume or turn it off. We may consider returning if functional issues are resolved.

Double booking

We were in the room in our jammies on night one and I heard some walking up the stairs and then the code enter and someone open the front door. Apparently it was doubled booked. That is a big no-no and a huge privacy issue. If we happened to be out ( which we were 20 minutes earlier our stuff could have been stolen. I am actually considering calling the police. Second, there is no place anywhere in the house to hang clothes except the 4 hook coat rack. Nor are there any dressers to put your clothes. That is unacceptable. Thirdly, other than the main room light there is no table lamps for lesser light. It’s either full blast lighting or darkness.
