Amelia Island Plantation Spectacular Ocean Front

Ei parempaa näkymää Beach Walker -yhteisössä sijaitsevalle Amelia Island Plantation -alueelle. Tästä huvilasta on näköala Beach Walker -altaan ja merelle. Beach Walker -allas on hiljattain remontoitu kokonaan, ja se on nyt lämmitetty ja on upea. Huvilassa on italialaiset laattalattiat kaikkialla. The view was wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. Our only issue was the number of stairs. There were three flights with 6-8 steps. The listing mentioned stairs, but we didn’t realize how many until we talked with the host the day before arrival. At that point there was nothing we could do but make the best of it. It didn’t ruin the trip.

Great Time

We had a great time at this location. We had stayed at ship watch and sand castle previously and this was the best location. Closest to beach and nice pool. The room were nicely furnished and beds very comfortable.

Great Visit

Great Oceanfront Property

Full views of the ocean were beautiful! Condo had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Three bedrooms accommodated 6 of us just fine. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Great location

This is a lovely property in a great location. The owners were very easy to communicate with about the listing. We really enjoyed the time on the beach and the pool. Restaurants and mini golf are about a 15 minutes walk away. A short drive will take you to many shops and other restaurants. A wonderful place for a family to spend spring break!

Could not have asked for better accommodations for our family vacation. Beautiful views from a unit perfectly decorated. Access to beach superb and pool is extremely close. Lovely Family Vacation

I highly recommend this property! All communication with the owner was extremely prompt and pleasant. The unit was clean and comfortable. Well-stocked with kitchen utensils and pots and pans. Ample supply of high quality towels. Bedding very comfortable. The pool and beach were fantastic. We definitely would stay here again!

Trip to Amelia Island

The condo was very clean and nicely equipped. The neighborhood was also very clean, quiet and beautiful. Close to the beach with great view. Updated appliances and nice furniture. Master bed was very comfortable. A few more steps inside and outside than we anticipated.

Family Reunion at Amelia

We arrived exactly at 4:00 and cleaners still there. It was over an hour before they finished. The previous renters had left a smear on the tv - cleaners were going to come back the next day to fix that and never did. That being said, it was ok as we did not watch tv. It was a great stay, great family reunion. We could keep an eye on crowds at the pool and time our socially distanced pool time accordingly. We did not use the elevators, for the same reason, and 96 steps with little ones got to be a bit much, but we did enjoy our time. The condo was comfortable and well appointed and had everything we needed. Highly recommend ... but vacationing during a pandemic is not ideal. Still, it was a great vacation!

Great Week

The property was exactly as it appears in the photos. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the view fantastic. When you first enter the unit there is a large laundry room immediately off the foyer with two beach cruisers and a nice washer and dryer. There is also a smaller closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and even beach towels. The unit is just a few steps from the elevator which made moving in and out very easy. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and included a refrigerator with an ice-maker. There were both Keurig and drip coffee makers.The bedrooms had very comfortable beds with good linen. The pool was very nice and only a short walk from the unit. The ocean is a short walk past the pool. Nearly everyday we saw many land tortoises and rabbits. The beach and pool were never crowded. The unit is close to shopping and a grocery store. Thanks to Jim for being a great host!

Family Getaway

We had an issue upon arrival that James was quick to respond and get fixed.James was great to work with and very responsive. The condo was nice and as advertised. The location was ideal as was close to the pool and short boardwalk to the beach. The ocean views from the condo unit were amazing. My husband and boys were excited to see the huge tv upon arrival for watching the ga football game. The only downside being lack of parking. We had 2 cars with 2 designated drivers for gate check in. The unit had one guaranteed covered spot and found out later any others are a free for all. My husband was less than happy to miss first part of ga game as he had to drive around for 30 minutes one night looking for a spot to open up. Cars were parked in the roadway and making spots that weren’t meant for parking so parking wasn’t monitored. Overall great unit, awesome location, and we had a wonderful stay. Julie

We had a very nice stay at this property. The ocean view was as promised, and the marsh-side decks attached to two of the rooms was nice even though we did not use them. Everything offered was consistent with the listing. The owner was extremely communicative at the onset to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, which I appreciated. The unit was clean, and towels and other needs were ample. I enjoyed the art/pictures on the wall. We felt right at home. Thank you!

The drive to the condo was breathtaking…large tree canopies covering the roads, beautiful landscapes! The complex was beautiful! Plenty of space for our family of 4. We loved the layout of the condo…really unique and fun! Comfortable beds and living room furniture! The balcony over looks the lush trees and the beach beyond that! The boardwalk to get over to the beach was beautiful to walk on…going under large trees…we saw so many tortoises and rabbits! The pool was gorgeous…never too crowded and always clean!

Wonderful location, communication with owner, and unit! It was extremely well stocked with household and beach items. No need to bring chairs, toys, boards, or towels. We loved having the adult bikes, and biked over to the playground, putt putt, nature center and shops several times. The only "FYI" I would give is that the pool and main beach is not stroller / cart friendly. A lot of stairs. However, there is a side access to the beach that we used which was fine, but if you have several babies or other people with mobility issues, that just might be good to know. However, that was a small issue and even with a special needs child and 4 small children, we would gladly return!!!

Looks can be deceiving

The property although older appeared clean through out.The views were awesome. But once we started to settle in there were some issues. A/C condensation pipe was clogged ( an issue the owner was aware of possibility) He asked that we bail the accumulation of rusty water from the overflow pan- 5 gal worth! To get the A/C to come on. Opening a kitchen cabinet I saw a roach and saw several more over the course of my stay. The dining room seat cushions were badly stained. There was sour smell on sheets and towels in both king rooms - had to re- wash before bedtime. TV remote batteries had to be replaced. Microwave only worked part of the time. Shower faucet needed adjustment to make it work. I reached out to the owner after I got home and asked for a refund for 1 nights stay and after 72 hours have not heard from him. I can’t recommend this place from the sheets roachfrom the the

My wife and I are avid golfers and beach lovers. We have enjoyed Amelia Island, Florida because of the many wonderful golf courses not only there on the plantation but within easy driving distance.

We chose the area because of the natural assets, as well as the amenities available and the easy access from our full time residence in Georgia.

The beach here is wonderful for hunting shells and sharks teeth. Amelia Island Plantation is well known for its preservation of the natural setting. Amelia Island State Park adjoins the Plantation and provides a large undeveloped area for the beach walker to explore. We have regularly seen bald eagles, osprey, roseate spoonbills, wood storks, to name just a few of the bird species present in large numbers at the resort. We have enjoyed schools of dolphin feeding from our living and dining room areas. Walking and biking trails are abundant throughout the resort. There is an indian burial mound on the marsh side of the island on one of the walking trails. Amelia Island Plantation is truly a nature lover's destination.
