As you enter the space, you are immediately greeted by high ceilings and bright living area. The spacious plot of land the home sits on provides great views allowing sunlight to pour in and fill the room, making this area a wonderful place to gather with family and/or friends.

Relax in the living space on the sofa and chairs. Cozy up by the wood stove in the winter months and watch the snowfall.
Adjacent to the living room are the dining table and kitchen.

The dining table seats four but has two extra chairs waiting for you. It's located next to the sliding glass doors that leads you to the large private back deck with a seasonal outdoor dining table. Enjoy the views of the lovely forest (no matter what time of year it is) with a peak of the Tahoe Donner Golf Course through the trees.

The kitchen has granite counters, beautiful wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances and an electric stove. The house has three different coffee makers (Keurig, French press, and Mr. Coffee) and plenty of pots, pans and utensils to make sure you are comfortable on your vacation.

This first level is also home to the primary bedroom and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a king bed and the bath has a shower. The rooms are nicely finished with beautiful fixtures and wooden cabinets.

Walking upstairs you will find another sitting area open to the living room below. This space has a large Roku TV and DVD player, wraparound sofa, and a big chair. The room is perfect as a gathering place for the kids and to curl up for a late-night movie.

Two additional bedrooms are on this upper floor, as well as the second bathroom. One bedroom has a queen and the second has a full size bed. Both have closets, and a chest of drawers for vacation clothes management. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower.

When it's time to explore, head out to the Tahoe Donner ski and snowshoe trails or to downtown Truckee for dining and shopping.
There's something for everyone and every season, from hiking and mountain biking in the summer to skiing and snow shoeing in the winter including all the great Tahoe Donner amenities.

When you've come back from a long day exploring, unload your gear in the entry mud room. Store your boots, skis, hiking boots and all other supplies conveniently.

*Tahoe Donner Amenities: The Trout Creek Rec Center is several miles down Northwoods Blvd so you will have to drive there. Vacation Rentals Guests do not have access to the Ski Bowl HOA amenities or pool.

* For the remainder of 2024, as part of your rental, you will have 2 guest passes. Each pass allows up to 4 guests per card to access Tahoe Donner facilities for a daily per person fee. This includes usage of the pools, hot tub, children's play center, tennis, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snow play area, golf, driving range, beach access at nearby Donner Lake, boat rentals, fitness center, horseback riding, campground, and an extensive system of hiking trails. Fees are currently priced at $17 per person.

* Changes to the Tahoe Donner Guest passes go into effect on 1/1/2025. Passes for STR guests will be limited to one person per pass, and the number of passes may be reduced to a max of 4 per property. STR guests may be required to make reservations during peak season or may be denied access based on availability, with priority going to homeowners and HOA members. Daily prices for STR guests are subject to change and enforced by the Tahoe Donner HOA, not Tahoe Vacation Rentals.

* We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash although there could be some left from previous guests.
* We recommend 4 x 4, AWD, or carrying snow chains in the winter months.
* There is no air conditioning in this rental.
* Firewood is not provided but can be purchased at most local shops.
