MONARCH VISTAS is just minutes away from so many amazing amenities in Dana Point and San Clemente. This beautifully remodeled, 2-bedroom condominium style vacation rental home offers 2 full bathrooms, wrap around balcony, and private washer and dryer.

MONARCH VISTAS is the perfect retreat for a small vacationing family, two couples, or for an extended work / play adventure or temporary housing between homes. It’s seated in center of the idyllically quiet, gated community of Monarch Hills within the luxurious larger community of Ritz Point. There is one set of stairs down to the unit but it is on the ground level once inside. Walk to the beach, Dana Point Harbor, Dana Point Headlands, The Ocean Institute, shops, and restaurants! MONARCH VISTAS is located on a hill above all of these amazing local attractions so it is best to have a vehicle.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: Sleeps 4 - 6 comfortably. Two in a king-size bed in the primary bedroom with en-suite and 2 in a queen size bed in the secondary bedroom. It’s like having 2 primary bedrooms! The convertible sofa sleeps an additional 2 people

KITCHEN & DINING: Fully outfitted kitchen! Tons of light! New appliances, solid surface countertops, and bright white refinished cabinets make for easy meal preparation. The separate dining room adjacent to the kitchen seats 4 comfortably and is perfect for entertaining or hosting a game night with your friends and family during your stay.

FAMILY ROOM: Enjoy the ocean views from the spacious gathering room. It offers two very comfortable, sleek, modern sofas with matching side chair. A large flat screen TV is also provided above the gas fireplace to complete the room.

OUTDOORS: Feel the ocean breezes on the open patio. This home faces a greenbelt away from other neighbors. With access to the family room, kitchen, and primary bedroom it’s a great space to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. There is a full-size washer and dryer in a separate closet off the balcony near the primary bedroom. This special vacation hideaway offers a single covered parking stall for 1 car. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas provided for your use.

MANAGEMENT: Very clean and professionally managed. Vacation Concierge is available 24/7 for any questions, issues or concerns that come up during your stay.

SUITABILITY: Non-Smoking home. Must have an adult(s) 21 or older staying at the house during the term of the stay. This rental is located on the ground floor of a 3 story building. Down 1 flight of stairs from street level. No elevator.

LOCATION: Dana Point is a city located in southern Orange County, California. It has one of the few harbors along the Orange County coast, and with ready access via State Route 1 (the famous Pacific Coast Highway or PCH). Dana Point and surrounding communities of Laguna Beach and San Clemente are popular local destinations for surfing.

ATTRACTIONS: MONARCH VISTAS is just up the road from the O.C. Dana Point Harbor and downtown Dana Point. Located towards the northern section of Dana Point referred to as ‘Monarch Beach’, it is just a short 15-minute drive into the beautiful and 'artsy' seaside town of Laguna Beach. It’s also convenient and within a short 15-minute drive (or a 30 minute bike ride for the more adventurous types) from the historic San Juan Capistrano where the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the quaint Los Rios District is surrounded with charming antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There’s even a petting zoo for the smaller members of your family!

The city was named after the headland of Dana Point, which was in turn named after Richard Henry Dana, Jr., author of ‘Two Years Before the Mast’, which included a description of the area. Dana described the locale, including neighboring San Juan Capistrano, as "the only romantic spot on the coast". Although Dana described the anchorage as poor, it is now a developed harbor and contains a replica of his ship, the Pilgrim. The Pilgrim is used as a classroom by the Ocean Institute, which is located at the harbor.
