Every thing was clean. But furniture was dated , broken, very uncomfortable. Call property management, talked about a few problems, such as microwave cover was told it was on order. That was on October 11, 2025 so it should be fixed by now. Freezer was loaded with ice frozen solid on door, was hard to close. Electrical issues in master bathroom. The other bathroom downstairs the inside door handle was crushed. Broken kitchen chairs and dining room chairs. And I think the biggest thing you all could know is it takes 20 dollars a car to enter the resort and park. And if you have family in the area make sure you let them know before you get there and the are on the register to visit

Fifty dirty villa/pool please please don’t waste your money.i cried when we finally got in the villa after along 9.1/2 hours flight from the UK.We have been to Florida staying villas for 20yrs and I have never had any problems.This villa was horrible it haven’t had a good clean for years it was filthy the pool had also sorts of things in it (pool was cleaned the day before we lef).we had to go to the shops and get cleaning supplies and spend hours just cleaning.The phone never worked so trying to get hold of the management company was impossible. We emailed no response at all. I emailed the host who took four days to respond asking the management company to come and see us they never did. I emailed yet again to wait a further three days for a response the host emailed the management company yet again no response.This was a 12 person villa with just 7 towels 7 forks 1 spoon good job it was only 2 of us there was even enough seating in the family area for 12. You definitely want I am posting pictures of this villa on this review not sure if they will stay on here but if anybody would like the pictures please private message me and I will send them to you. I really don’t want anybody to go through what we went through it’s spoiled our holiday totally. I gave two stars for the location only the rest I wouldn’t even give a star .After the host had several emails from me I am yet to have any sort of apology or explanation as to why they are renting this out in this state.

Misleading

The listing shows a gas grill included. False. Talks about a spa. False. The place was clean but needs updating. Freezer doesn’t seal so it builds up inside. The frame of the microwave is cracked. The inside needs painting. One toilet runs all the time and another doesn’t always flush. The pool deck is moldy needs a deep cleaning. I did message the hosts about the grill and he said they don’t have it anymore but I could rent one. Surrounding homes had one for their renters to use. I would double check other homes in Emerald Isle to rent if you like the area. Club house was fun and the workers are great very friendly. We were there for a week and the mini golf was never open.

Very Basic Services

Let's start with the good things; it is a great location, close to Disney and some pretty good fast casual restaurants. Security is good and it feels safe in the community. The host only supplies "essentials". 2 additional rolls of toilet paper, two rolls of paper towels and 2 dishwasher pods. In the check-in instructions The hosts tell you if you need more it's up to you to buy what you need. If you're going to be eating in the house, you will need to bring or buy condiments, salt and pepper, sugar if you need it, there is a Mr. Coffee, but no filters, napkins and dishwashing liquid. There are no soaps, shampoos or similar items so bring your own or buy them when you get there. Now the not so good. The property manager, with whom the check-instructions tell you to contact if is a problem was totally unresponsive,. Multiple voice mails and emails were unanswered. There was no Free BBQ grill as described in the amenities. The house was dirty with inches of dust. Furniture was broken, the seat cushions on the dinning room chairs were not attached to the frame. Not enough towels for a place that sleeps 9. A large hole in the wall was repaired but was unfinished and the drywall compound was wet for most of the stay. In the front bathroom there are sharp edges on a door knob that looked like it was chewed by a dog, and slippery leaves and tree droppings in the front yard. This place cold be really nice with just a little extra care.

We cleaned

Our stay was terrible. We stayed up the first night cleaning the house and all the sheets and blankets.The house is not only outdated but it is filthy. One bedroom had no light so we had to bring a lamp from downstairs so the room had light. The communication with Ann and Gary is unprofessional and they completely disregarded our concerns as did Vrbo. DO NOT STAY HERE! My daughter and myself came back with our allergies being terrible and she has an eczema flair up. Between lack of communication and the mold, dust, unknown scratches on the door frames, the random mattress in the garage or “game room” the filthy pool furniture, door handles that are smashed in I would suggest anyone to stay anywhere else!!!!!

Terrible

This property is plan gross. Stains on the furniture, dirt every where, cracks on the counters and microwave. Table on patio appears never been cleaned. I have taken pictures and complained to VRBO. Hosts will not respond to me. We did not stay. They will not return messages or phone calls. I want my money back. Pictures on site are not what the house really looks like. Do not schedule this home.

Over all communication was ok. House though is extremely outdate and nothing has been done to fix any previous marks or dents or holes in walls. Furniture and tvs especially the tvs are extremely outdated. For tthe price people pay they could have easily upgraded

Upsetting but nice area

Alot of money spent and not what we thought would be. The home is beautiful, not upkept, what a shame. Old, very old, dirty furniture. Had to wash all the sheets, buy towels to use, because the ones at the home were old and stained. The game room was never used, there is a gasoline and mold smell so strong i didnt let anyone in there and was dirty, i had to send images to the owner, The dirt overwhelming. Noone came to clean that.No Grill, which was a disappointment. water leaks from the ceiling in the master bedroom. And the bathtub was clogged in the 2nd floor. Maintenance was very nice and fixed asap. The bathrooms were clean, but that was it. kitchen was good to cook, shame no grill. We mopped and cleaned the home, which maintenance should do better. The pool was great though, so beautiful and huge,very clean. A shame, such a gem of a house and not well kept.

Great stay

The house was really clean, it was an overall great experience. However I would if I was the owner purchase new sheets for all the bedding, especially upstairs, some of the bedding was a bit worn out. Other than that, everything was great.

Great location

This villa has great potential. Cannot fault the location or the resort which is outstanding. Unfortunately the villa does not live up to this standard. The villa is advertised as sleeping up to 12 people, however the seating provided both indoor and outdoor is not sufficient for this number, outside the maximum number that can be seated is 6. The furniture provided is very old, dirty and rusty. The cleanliness of the pool area was very poor and looked as if it had not been cleaned properly in a long time. Unfortunately things were not a lot better inside as furniture was again very old dirty and stained and again not enough seating to accommodate the number the villa was advertised as accommodating. The cleanliness issues around the pool were reported on arrival as the pool itself had obviously not been cleaned. This issue was reported along with a leak in the master bedroom from the upstairs shower which meant we had to place a bucket to catch the water, which was obviously a recurring problem due to the already stained ceiling. After several attempts to report these issues to the Management Company someone eventually came. I could write a lot more about several other small issues but suffice to say this villa would benefit greatly from a deep clean, some general maintenance and some new furniture.

Don’t Waste Your Money

I am going to start with the prices, they gave us a price and they charge a lot of fees that are garbage because the house wasn’t worth it, the price they have us went up like $700 more, the entrance of the house was dirty, the rooms carpet stained, the mattresses are even worse is better to sleep in the floor. The sofas were dirty and stained. The tv’s they have in the rooms are like 15 inches. The shower heads are in very bad conditions, the people that clean the pool didn’t clean the pool at all. The grill, they charge a fee if you use the grill and don’t clean it, when i used it it caught on fire i have to use the fire extinguisher cause it has so much grease stuck. I try to give it a chance even when i read all the bad reviews I thought the people were exaggerating but, if you are reading this. Don’t make the mistake i made. I took my family and friends and we are very disappointed with all the money we waste. I have pictures of everything. They don’t care about the house the only thing they care is to charge the money and thats it.

Bring your own cleaning supplies

The house could use a little maintaining. The furniture was very used, and it was not clean. We found dirty towels in one of the bathrooms and dirty underware under a bed from a previous renter. The location was wonderful.

Florida in April

Great location. The amnesties at the resort are wonderful. House is located on a lovely Court. Quiet and lots of green space for the dogs to run. Owners were quick to respond to our questions. We enjoyed this home provided all the space necessary for our family.

Love Emerald Isle

Loved the location. Three month stay. House is definitely just a rental as chairs and furniture were dirty/stained but overall the home was great. Missing blender and mixer, notified mgt service and a couple days later they were delivered. Definitely want to rent i. Emerald Isle again next year.
