Not only is it centrally located in a very walkable area, but clean and comfortable with Southwest art and charm. The space
Enjoy the vibrant energy of the University and downtown from the comfort of our clean rock home, which is decorated with unique art and details, such as a handmade local pine log bed, Mexican wood furniture, Navajo weavings and local fine art. It is our family's Southwest haven and we know you'll love this home and all it and Flagstaff has to offer!
On the first floor, you’ll find a cozy king bedroom with a premium Sealy Posturepedic mattress, luxury bedding, and a full bathroom with tub/shower and all the amenities (shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion). Upstairs there are two bedrooms— one comfortable queen with a desk, and one with two twin beds with a pack and play available— and a second bathroom with a shower and essentials. In the basement is the game room with an arcade game, foosball, and an additional large-screen Roku TV, as well as a separate laundry area with washer/dryer.
In the spacious, private backyard you'll find a private 6-person hot tub available year-round, a patio with Adirondack chairs, and a seasonal fire pit and charcoal bbq (availability depends on fire restrictions), and a large area for relaxing, playing, or just hanging out. We provide lots of board games, books, and toys, too. Great for families with kids or adults looking for a nice place to stay.
We provide plenty of comfortable bedding, towels, shower essentials, and all the kitchen amenities including pantry supplies, snacks, and more, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Our home is available for short getaways or longer stays, and is the perfect location when visiting NAU campus or downtown Flagstaff. It’s also a convenient launching point to the mountains, a little over 20 minutes from the chair lift at AZ Snowbowl (or just 14 minutes to the Basecamp parking lot where you can hop on a shuttle in winter to take you up the switchbacks). Endless trails are located within walking distance or a short drive from the house, too.
There is plenty to see and do right in Flagstaff, but if you're looking for adventure, the Grand Canyon is just a little over an hour away, and the beautiful red rocks of Sedona less than an hour. Oak Creek Canyon is only 30 minutes away, a scenic creek with lots of spots to explore. As Flagstaff locals, we know all the insider places to visit, explore, hike, dine, and shop, which we provide in our guidebook— and are always available for other recommendations or questions during your stay!

Feel free to use the washer/dryer and complimentary laundry detergent pods during your stay.
As noted in the description, this home is unique in that it is located downtown and right next to NAU campus. Because of its prime location and proximity to campus and students, the neighborhood is lively and there may be noise in the area at times.
The hot tub is available 24 hours a day, year-round for guests to enjoy. We ask guests to treat the hot tub kindly and use with care. Always supervise children around the hot tub and use at your own risk. Please rinse off before use. More instructions for hot tub use are provided upon booking.
We have a strict NO parties or gatherings policy at our house. No guests are allowed beyond the number listed on the reservation. There is a $100 extra per person fee if you have beyond 6 with approval from hosts.
This is a NON-SMOKING home. No smoking on the property, inside or out. One pet may be accepted with an extra $150 fee, and must be included on your reservation at the time of booking. Pets may not be left unattended in the house or yard for more than two hours unless crated. We are happy to provide recommendations for pet sitters or pet daycare if you plan to be gone for an extended period. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Any additional cleaning needed or pet damage may result in an additional charge.
Heating/Cooling: The house stays comfortable in winter due to an efficient heating system, and space heaters are available in the bedrooms upstairs. There is no A/C, but ceiling fans and portable fans are provided if needed. The house stays fairly cool during summer due to the nature of the rock walls. Flagstaff temperatures are usually mild in summer.
Crib: if you are staying with an infant, there is a pack and play and sheet available in the upstairs twin bedroom closet. Baby gates are provided to keep a young one safe in a room but please note that they will not fully cover the stairs so please use caution if you are staying here with young children and watch them around the stairs. Toys, games, and books are available at the house for children and adults alike to enjoy!
Please use caution on the stairs and walkways. There are several steep steps to access both the front and back door, and it being an historic house there are some cracks in the walkways and patios as well as uneven pavement around the property. Snow and/or ice may be present in the winter months — please watch your step!
Please note that we are not responsible for any items left behind and there may be an additional $50 fee plus shipping if found items are sent back to guests to cover our housekeeper's time.
Thanks! Enjoy your stay!!
