'Ocean Beach' sijaitsee osoitteessa 21 Silversides Trail suoraan kadun toisella puolella rantaa umpikujaan. MIKÄ NÄKYMÄ! Olemme puolivälissä South Beachillä, lähellä merimarkkinoita, paloasemaa, putiikkeja ja lähes täsmälleen The Bald Head Island Club ja The Shoals Club.

Uusi kotimme sai kunnollisen vaihdon, ja se on uusittu, maalattu uudelleen ja maalattu uudelleen omistajien tyyliin. Ylelliset uudet vuodevaatteet ovat varmasti miellyttäviä kaikille. Siellä on kaksi makuuhuonetta, ja kolmannessa makuuhuoneessa on myös parivuode ja oma kylpyhuone. "Lastenhuoneessa" on kaksi ylisuuria kaksoset; siinä makuuhuoneessa on myös oma kylpyamme. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on uudet 32 'taulutelevisiot ja DVD-soittimet.

Muista varata Bald Head Island -lautta saapuaksesi ja lähteäksesi. Lautalippusi tarjoaa myös raitiovaunupalvelun lautalta 21 Silversides Trail -kadulle.

Firenze-hirmumyrskyllä oli valtava vaikutus saareen syyskuussa 2018, ja seuraavan vuoden kohteita korjataan. Lisäksi, koska The Island on vielä rakenteilla, uusi rakentaminen alkaa koko ajan. I cannot say enough about this place and the owner! It was the best family vacation we’ve had in a long, long time! Hugh was so wonderful to work with. The house is STOCKED with everything you could ever need! Everything was clean and just as described. This house is truly a case where it’s even BETTER than the pictures… plus you can’t beat the view! We’ll be back!

Excellent as always

Wonderful house on the beach. Well stocked with all you need - and I cooked 3 meals a day for our large crowd. Lovely porches/decks when you want to feel ocean breezes and see the waves but need a break from the sand. Close to everything. We will be back!

Incredible stay

This was our third year at this house. It remains the best house we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail is incredible. New floors, ovens and furniture make the house fresh and current. Hugh is so responsive and helpful - it actually feels like staying at a friends house. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Love Bald Head Island

Great location, decks are amazing, Bald Head is really fun. House fully stocked with items for cooking and eating-multiple sets of dishes and utensils. Good layout with the bedrooms-each one has its own bathroom. Super nice hosts.

Tropical Storm Debby Stay

Great location. Really nice house. Hugh was very responsive. Would stay there again. Too bad we were there the week of a tropical storm as the island shut down for a few days and we had a lot of rain/wind. I strongly suggest either avoiding a trip during hurricane season or have insurance if traveling this time of year.

I just want to say Thank You to Hugh for facilitating our stay at this beautiful house and property. The location is a very short walk to the beach and very convenient to BHI Club, the Market, and the Shoals Club. The appointments in the kitchen were the best we've experienced, and in every way the home exceeded our expectations!

Wonderful home!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is nicely decorated, comfortable and very well-equipped for cooking and relaxing. The upper deck is the perfect place to view the sunset and the screened porch off the main bedroom is the perfect morning coffee spot. We enjoyed the ocean views and the very close beach access. The owners were very informative and responsive before and during our stay. We will definitely stay at Ocean Beach again.

A perfect spot!

The property was great! The location was perfect! The house was clean and extremely comfortable. It had great entertaining space, great relaxing space, a spacious property for sure! The property owner was easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for 4 couples. Each had their own en- suite. Beds were comfortable! I would rent this property again and again. !

Wonderful Beach Retreat

Our family had such a wonderful thanksgiving holiday in your beautiful home. The house is perfectly appointed with wonderful homey touches that made us feel like we were at home. You thought of everything - and we were so appreciative. It meant so much that we could bring our dog, we enjoyed beautiful views with dolphins awaiting us each morning. great beach access, well equipped kitchen, super loacation! Hope that we can stay here again!

Great House!

The house was fantastic. Just as described. In addition to being a great house, Hugh was a great host. Very responsive and one of the few rentals that really has all of the accessories (paper towels, toilet paper, salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc.) that make the place like home.

Picture perfect relaxation

This house has it all — unbelievable beachfront views from multiple decks, super comfy accommodations, and well-stocked everything (there are more towels, chairs, boogyboards and gas grills than you will probably ever need!) The house is in an ideal location near the market but in a quiet cul de sac. Hugh was super responsive to questions and even let us keep our bags at the place and use the porch post checkout for a few hours since we booked a later ferry. Highly recommend and looking to come back next year!

Great host, great location and all the stuff!

Hugh is an incredibly responsive and generous host. This house is the most well-equipped beach house we’ve ever rented - beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys galore plus the most well-equipped kitchen you could ask for. Sunny deck, shaded deck, screened deck or Sandy play area with kids swings and a porch swing, you have every option imaginable for family space or quiet space. Living room and dining room are great for family games, and the second fridge in the garage really helps!

Wonderful house with great ocean and beach views from all living spaces! Clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen, easy beach access (even a turtle nest was provided out front!). Owners very accessible, responsive and helpful. One golf cart broke after a couple of days and was repaired quickly. Children loved the "playground" under the house.

Great house, wonderful views, perfect location!

This was our second time staying at Ocean Beach. The house is perfectly laid out for multiple people while providing space and privacy for all. Each bedroom has a full bath. The sand and swings under the house was the favorite hang out place for my 1 and 3 year olds. Hugh was very responsive to emails throughout the process, including when we were on the island and I had a question. A great experience! We will be back again! Ps: we saw dolphins about 100 yards away from us in the ocean on our last day!

Perfect location, wonderful house

Do not hesitate to book Ocean Beach! It is in the perfect location - just across the dunes from the beach, unobstructed view of the ocean, right down the road from the main shopping area. The house has everything you will need and the furnishings are gorgeous. We spent many relaxing and pleasurable hours on the front decks. We were particularly pleased with the completely outfitted kitchen, including a wide array of spices and condiments. We've stayed in many beach homes that didn't even supply salt and pepper, so not having to transport/buy these necessities was a joy. Owner was immediately responsive and helpful. You will have a great beach vacation at this house! We sure did.

Nice stay

Overall good stay and solid house. Great decks and outdoor areas. Location is fine. Good supplies and toys and chairs and carts. House is a little tired on the inside, lots of little homeowner type fixes. Metal brackets holding together rocking chairs, spray painted areas of rust, microwave has to be pried open, etc. Not a big deal but at the price bracket a little surprising. The upstairs master has a strange opening over the living room which is apparently to be able to see the ocean. But it means that if anyone is trying to sleep up there they will be woken up by any noise downstairs…can’t watch tv as a family or play cards in the living room, etc. I found that to be a fairly big deal. Would strongly recommend at least installing a window there. We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend the house.

FIVE STARS!!!

WOW! That will be the first word you speak once you enter into this home. These homeowners have just purchased this place and have updated everything! They have done an exceptional job! The decor is stunning and sophisticated, yet cozy. Any kitchen item you might need will be found in a drawer LABELED with it's contents! There is a big laundry room off the kitchen for additional storage with a brand new "front loader" washer & dryer! The beds are very comfortable, the sheeting and blankets are new and the place is just impeccable!! The oceanfront view is magnificent and you'll enjoy many hours on the deck. The only thing better than the view is dealing with the homeowners themselves...they are so pleasant and accommodating. We're going back....

We visit quite often and keep our home well cared for, and by our presence, keep an eye out for whats of interest on the Island to tell our guests what might be fun to do and prepare for.

We chose Bald Head Island because the Island grabbed us 10 years ago when we first visited. It is relatively close to our home, 'hard to get to' because its an island, and it is in North Carolina the best place to live!

This Island is magical! It starts as soon as you unload and begin the journey on our great ferries. The 20 minute ride is just enough to unwind and relax before you hit the Island and start what we call 'Island Time'. You will love the slower pace. Step onto the lower porch or the upper deck and see the Atlantic in all its glory, and you'll want to go get another drink and sit yourself down a spell. Our home is so close to everything and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We thank the Lord every day for allowing us to be so fortunate and share this wonderful Island. We pinch each other to make sure we are still awake, because it seems like such a dream come true.
