Absolutely adorable lower unit in a craftsman bungalow duplex on a tranquil corner in North Beach.
Located just north of Ballard - only about a block from private beach access (North Beach)!
After exploring the city, come back to check out the sunset over the Puget Sound with a short walk to the beach, then kick off your shoes in the spacious back yard and enjoy the peace and quiet!
For any stay longer than a week, you must have at least one 5 star review.
Quiet hours between 11PN and 8AM.
The space
Kitchen table and chairs by a big window overlooking the back yard in the kitchen, love seat and two chairs, a desk and office chair, smart TV in the living room and a queen sized bed and a dresser in the bedroom.
The only common space is the back yard.
Quiet hours are between 11PM and 8AM.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire lower unit - the laundry is located through the door past the kitchen sink. Myself and the cleaners have access to the laundry room for supplies. There is a door that locks from the inside of your unit, to the laundry room, for your convenience,
Other things to note
I have just done work to limit the amount of noise between the floors (big improvement)!
For stays longer than a week you must have at least one 5 star review.

Our Blue Ridge VRBO stay

The host is a great communicator! Everytime I had a question, problem or comment, he responded very quickly. This was our first experience doing a VRBO, so I wasn't sure how much I was supposed to bother the host. This was close to our daughter's place, who we were here to visit, so was a perfect place to hunker down. We could have used more towels, hand towels and wash cloths. I purchased some bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, 4 kitchen towels and 4 wash cloths because there was only 2 towels, 1 hand towel , 2 wash cloths and 2 kitchen towels for the kitchen. It would be nice to have extra towels and wash cloths when your stay is over 10 days.The cell phone service was limited and we had quite a few dropped calls. I guess that's to be expected when your so close to the water, maybe?I washed some clothes in the washer and when I dried my clothes, there were pieces of black tar on them. I let Mike know of the issue, so we wouldn't be held responsible. The floors were also dirty, and Mike is aware and will let his cleaning person know. I did feel safe in this place wasn't worried about any of our things ending up missing, which is a bonus!Being from AZ, we were always cold so thank you Mike for having the 2 space heaters to keep us warm! vihunker down. Cute Little Place with Beach Access

While we had expected a fenced yard for our dog, it all worked out GREAT because of the private beach access that we walked almost every morning. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything in Seattle. We will be back next year.

Charming place to stay near the beach

This was my second trip up to Seattle and this time I wanted a quiet getaway near the beach and this place did not disappoint. The property was just as listed, offering everything I needed, and it was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. Beach access was just a block away and watching the sunset over the water was great way to end the day. My host was easy to get in contact with and throughly answered all my questions. I wish I could have stayed longer!

This worked out perfectly as our relatives live 2 blocks away

This was convenient and served our purposes. Bed was comfortable and furniture also. Suggestions would be to label garbage cans under the sink and provide two big towels for each occupant as well as hand towels and washcloths. Owner was helpful and gave us an additional comforter as the weather was chilly. Heat seemed to be space heaters as we couldn't discover any other way to regulate it. Thanks Mike

Good seattle getaway

Great beach access and parking ability for Seattle. Downsides were a very noisy upstairs when people were there, limited cell phone calling service if working remotely, and the bed was very very soft / unsupportive leaving more of a sore back after several nights stay.
