Perheeni ja minä elän kokopäiväisesti Lexington, MA. Päätimme ostaa ensimmäisen loma-asunnon vuonna Chatham, MA vuonna 2008. Vaikka tärkein syy oli läheisyys lähellä Bostonia, huomasimme myös, kuinka paljon Chatham muistutti meitä ajastamme Nantucket Islandilla. Chathamilla on kaikki viehätys ja kauneus Nantucket-saarella, jossa naimisissa. Tämä oli ensimmäinen hankinta ja kokemuksen, elämänlaadun, upeiden muistojen ja fantastisen vuoden ympäri vireen takia päätimme ostaa lisäominaisuuden ja aloittaa pitkän aikavälin investoinnit kaupunkiin ja ympäröivään alueeseen. Tämä ominaisuus sen merenkulun teema ja alkuperäiset kunnostetut lattiat tarjoavat ainutlaatuisen kokemuksen vieraille, jotka haluavat olla joitain yksityisyyttä keskustasta väkijoukkoja, mutta myös kilometrin päässä Chatham Harbor, Chatham Bars Inn ja Downtown Chatham Center.

Kaunis ympäri vuoden lomakoti valmiina parketit koko ja kaunis laatta kylpyamme ja suihku pois Master ensimmäisen kerroksen makuuhuone. Keittiössä on mukava päättynyt puu työtasot kaikki laitteet. Sisältää ympärivuotisen lämmön ja ilmakehän näissä kosteissa päivissä / iltoina! Kaksi makuuhuonetta ylös ja kaksi makuuhuonetta alas!
Giant kannella täysin aidattu takapiha hyödyntää täysin sekä auringon ja pihapiiri. Keväällä, kesällä ja syksyllä kausittainen pingispöytä, maanpinnan yläpuolella, lentopallo net ja aidattu kuuma / kylmä ulkosuihku.
Rantatuolit (6+) ja polkupyörät (2+)
Sisällytä jäähdytin / pyörät ja uimaranta (muut lasten rantaesineet) Valtava ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettu grilli (suora kaasun kytkentä) takapihalla tiilisverkko.
Kevään / kesän autotallin parvi auki (ei LVI-tilaa) vieraiden ylivuodolle tai vain lapsille, jotka haluavat ylimääräistä yksityisyyttä!

Our time in Chatham was made very comfortable thanks to this rental with comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and large enclosed yard. I highly recommend this rental for families/large groups.

A slice of backyard heaven in Chatham...

Proximity is everything, and our stay for two blissful weeks in August was nearly perfect. The only thing missing was water views, a quick drive, walk, or bike ride away. Our family has rented on the Cape for decades, always in different locales, and this was our first experience staying in Chatham. What a delight: from the nearby luxurious Chatham Bars Inn to beaches at the ocean and ponds, shopping, ice cream shops, and amenities, we thoroughly enjoyed our explorations, then returned to a roomy house with a beautiful backyard, patio, deck, piped-in gas grill, and fire pit.

Charming house. Great location

The house is clean, fully stocked with everything you need, has a great back deck and a large fenced-in yard. Location was ideal for us: just close enough to town and beaches, but not packed into a crowded block. The house itself is clean and comfortable. Some rooms could use a little updating, but overall, we were very happy during our stay over New Year's. Owners were very responsive to our questions.

Lovely, Large Home Near Everything

My group was in town for a wedding in Chatham, and we were delighted to stay in this large home that was conveniently located a short walk to town and very central to the wedding parties. The rehearsal dinner and wedding were each only a quick rideshare away, and on Saturday while we had downtime we popped to Main Street for brunch and to browse the local shops. Unfortunately we had a rainy weekend, but I believe the beach was close by as well. The house itself was great, I wish we were staying longer! Huge fenced-in yard with ping-pong, a fire-pit, and grill were all out back. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and all the necessities. As we were a group of 5, it was nice that everyone had their own room (my partner and I took the master-bed) and space to spread out. I know there was another bathroom and bedroom above the garage but we didn't even feel the need to go into it, there was plenty of space and bathrooms in the main house. Overall a lovely stay! My only constructive feedback is that I think the linens situation could be improved - while the listing is clear about bringing or renting sheets and towels (and it was easy to do so) it would have been nice if that was just included in the overall booking so its one less thing to think about. Thank you for a great weekend! If/when I'm back on the Cape, I would definitely rent this house again!

This property has a very nice, fenced yard for the dogs making their stay terrific. The fence was secure even for our little dog (11 lbs). In/out through sliding glass door made access to yard simple. Kitchen was stocked with pots & pans, good for our Thanksgiving meal. Gas grill also nice to have on patio. Place was clean and sleeping spaces spread out. Downsides: had to bring own towels/linens & we don't own king sized sheets; blower on furnace (AC?) ran constantly and sounded like heavy windstorm making it harder to sleep deeply; regular traffic noise for front bedrooms.

Perfect house, perfect location in Chatham.

David & Evelyn, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. It was perfect for myself, two children, my parents and our family dog. The home was well appointed, very clean and had all expected commodities. Having a washing machine at the beach is a plus, as the girls couldn’t stop chasing crabs! This home is lovely and the backyard is spacious and well appointed, with the outdoor shower, gas grill and fire pit! We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Chatham Escape

Wife and I rented the hose from 06Sep thru 10 Sep 2021 on a list minute vacation whim. I booked this property rather quickly without my typical due diligence. Fortunately, I lucked out as this property was a true pleasure. The house is very well maintained and provides plenty of room for relaxation. What I really liked was how well items in the house were detailed. Having rented several homes in the past the simple process of knowing which switch to turn on the patio light can be a challenge. Dave & Evelyn have done an excellent job of labeling switches, instruction on remotes, how to use a provided supplemental speaker for my music... again was so nice to have the guidance. I had some concern on how close the house was to RT 28, but this was not an issue. The home itself with a beautiful outside sitting area (and fire pit) should give most folks plenty of room for stretching out. Coordination prior to arrival was excellent. We received an email with documentation on Do’ & Don’ts, supplier for linen and instructions for house access. Dave was very quick to respond to my question (details on beds so I could order linen). Very happy with eh home and certainly would stay again an recommend to others.

Girls Weekend

We stayed at this lovely property for a girl weekend. It was very clean and spacious. The outdoor space was great. We utilized the deck for outdoor meals and the fire pit at night. I would recommend this house and we will definitely rent it again in the future!

Labor Day Birthday Weekend

We had a fantastic stay at David and Evelyn’s property. It was so easy to find and had ample parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfortable and the apartment felt very clean once we arrived. Would definitelt recommend this Vrbo location.

Our family of five really enjoyed staying at this lovely property. The backyard is amazing for families and the bonus space above the garage is AWESOME. The property owners are also extremely kind, welcoming, and over-the-top accommodating. We are so sad to leave but we'll be back!

A sweet house

We had a sweet time in David and Evelyn's house. They were very responsive and helpful. The location was an easy drive to downtown Chatham, which had plenty of parking for our late June stay. The house was a little smaller than we thought from the pictures, but clean and lovely. Like many houses on the Cape, it's right on a main road so you can hear traffic... a day of that and we no longer noticed, though. Extra points for the convenient Netflix and Amazon account access already provided (no searching for passwords...) The kitchen was outfitted with EVERYTHING which made cooking for our group a breeze. The master bedroom and bathroom were gorgeous. The second bedroom upstairs has a day bed with a trundle, though, which may be a challenge for particularly tall people (my 5' 8" sister had no problem sleeping there.) I don't remember a picture of that room featured on the website; I think it was referred to as the other bedroom with twin beds. The main street in Chatham is wonderful, and don't miss the Friday night band concert downtown during the summer!

Just an awesome home and Location

A true Cape Cod dream home. David and Evelyn could not have been more accommodating. My family throughly enjoyed our week on the Cape and my wife and I would highly recommend their home to everyone. Great fenced in back yard with volley ⚽️, badminton 🏸 , horseshoes, 🏓 ping pong, along with a great deck and brand new Weber gas grill. Enjoy , Enjoy Interior is beautiful, great master bedroom , kids enjoyed the loft.

Truly Relaxing!

This gem was everything we needed. 4 comfortable bedrooms, with a beautiful master suite and needed privacy. Kitchen and living room was very comfortable and had plenty of space for all 8 of us. Fenced-in yard, huge deck, fire pit, gas grill with direct hook up. You would not know the house is right on Rt. 28, very quiet in back yard and traffic not to heavy. Will be returning! Favorite Vacation House in Chatham

When we walked through the door, we were so thrilled with how meticulously clean it was! Because this is our second summer renting Evelyn and Dave's lovely Chatham home, we felt right at home! The bedrooms are so comfortable and the loft over the garage was great for our 19 year old daughter and her few friends who spent a couple of nights with us. Although the weather wasn't as great as we would have liked, we still enjoyed a few good beach days down at Ridgevale Beach and some competitive Kan-Jam tournaments in the spacious backyard. Our 2 non shedding dogs love this house as much as we do; we've already booked next year's summer vacation. Thanks Evelyn and Dave!

Excellent place to stay with a family!

We had a GREAT time in Chatham and this property was great for our big family. We loved the fenced in yard with children and a grand dog! The house was really clean and well appointed. The backyard was a great place to cookout and entertain in the evenings. My family loved the ping pong table! Excellent location. Close to town and the bike trail. We would definitely recommend this property and stay here again!

Evelyn and I (with our 3 children) live full time in Lexington, MA. We decided to purchase a vacation home in Chatham, MA because of the short access from Boston. Chatham has all the charm and beauty as Nantucket Island has which is where we married. It just so happens Chatham is so much easier to get to than Nantucket! This was our first purchase and because of the experience and the quality of life we have had vacationing in Chatham we have pursued additional properties and decided to create a business around vacation rentals that caters to families and friends that want to enjoy Chatham and the surrounding area while also staying in professional quality, clean and well stocked lodgings that are within a short distance to sightseeing and Chatham Downtown. Being in North Chatham and one mile north of the Chatham Bars Inn this location gives us great access to the Atlantic Ocean side beaches, Pleasant Bay and Downtown without running into any major traffic. Having a great coffee, pastry/muffin, sandwich, and ice cream (Chatham Perks) and cold beverages (Chatham Light Liquors) within a minute walking distant is a huge plus. We also have plenty of parking in the large driveway and have an irrigation system to insure green grass all thru the peak season! The reality is this property is in a fantastic location, should check off every item on your vacation list and is well maintained by professionals and family TLC.

The quality of the house and condition, including the fact there is a huge fenced in backyard with a large deck and room for fun outdoor activities, reading a book or just simple sun bathing is great. The firepit (portable) and all-weather table top tennis is fantastic and lots of fun! The outdoor hard lined gas grill has plenty of space to entertain with lots of grilling options for your guests. Additional benefits include year-round heat, A/C, flat screen /Comcast cable TV and HIGH-SPEED CABLE INTERNET! And don’t forget the unfinished loft above the garage has plenty of character and is a great spot for young teenagers and a fun “away” location to play games, sleep and just get some time away from the adults!
