This feel-good beach home is a 2 min walk to the best beach in SJ! Enter the light-filled living room and you'll immediately feel a lift! This happy spot has a unique layout with its own personal balcony, large kitchen and living-room, and internal (private) stairs that take you to a massive roof deck with great views, a large table for dining, and (soon) lounge furniture. There's also a laundry room up there!
The space
Welcome to Footprints beach house! This home is a work-in-progress, and we will be adding even more comfortable and aesthetic features than you see in the pics.
It comes with:
Super high-quality filtered drinking water and ice cubes no plastic water bottles necessary!

Please note that this is an older building with an interesting layout. The main entrance is into the living room, which has AC, off of that you can access the kitchen OR two interconnected bedrooms and a bathroom. The farthest room does not have AC so most guests leave the door open between the connected bedrooms to cool both of them down using the AC from the first room. All rooms have fans. Guests in the farthest room must pass through the first room to use the bathroom. There is a doorway to the balcony and out of the apartment from the farthest room.
We do ask that guests who stay here do not stay up all night partying loudly because the apartment is within a complex with my bedroom window nearby, another guest apartment below and a hotel next door. If you want to talk loudly late into the night this place isn't right for you. No judgment I love a late night myself! Also, please be sure to keep all roof-deck furniture on the turf so as not to damage the roof sealant.

Guest access
There's a parking spot with your name on it so no hassles finding parking at night or on busy beach days!
This area is packed with eateries, nightlife and shopping. People get around on foot, by e-scooter or car.
Important! To access your upstairs apartment you'll have to walk through a patio in front of a downstairs apartment, also an Airbnb. We ask that you respect the downstairs guests' privacy and be considerate with noise levels, especially when coming home at night.
Other things to note
This apartment is in great condition and it's an older building, so expect some quirks. Nothing out of the ordinary.
In case of an electrical outage, there is a generator that can comfortably power lights, fans, outlets, and the fridge (No AC or other big appliances). The generator is shared with two other units.
The property also has a cistern for any water outages that may occur, although they are not frequent in this area.
We welcome furry friends if they are house trained and charge a $50 pet fee per pet per stay for stays of up to 5 days. However, for longer stays, the pet fee may vary slightly. Please feel free to ask any questions, and we'll be happy to provide more information and see if we can accommodate you.
We are excited to host you and ensure that you have an incredible time taking advantage of everything that makes Puerto Rico special! Keep in mind that Puerto Rico is an island that sometimes experiences water and electricity outages. Puerto Rico's vibrant atmosphere means that street noise is part of the experience. If you are a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs. Additionally, although we do our best to keep creatures away, the tropical climate here can make them a bit persistent. There are seasonal insects that are attracted to light, so we recommend turning off the lights to make them go away. We are really looking forward to hosting you and ensuring that you have an incredible time taking advantage of everything that makes Puerto Rico special!
