Lovely three bedroom, three bath, 2 level cabin home on the shores of Lake Superior. Affiliated with Grand Superior Lodge and located in Castle Danger

Active travelers can enjoy amenities like snowmobiling and snowshoeing at this lodge.

For some rest and relaxation, visit the sauna or the hot tub.

Be sure to enjoy a meal at Grand Superior Grill or the Rustic Inn, which has award winning pies.

We had an amazing time! The rooms are spacious. Communication with the host was very quick and clear. Check in was super easy! We’d for sure stay here again!

Always love staying at the lodge. It's so nice to spread out and lots of activities for the kids. You can't beat the location to Gooseberry State Park or Two Harbors. Will be back soon. Thanks

Spectacular setting, great spaces!

The three combined units gave us privacy and space with a wonderful gathering space on the first floor and incredible views of the lake from all the rooms.

Lake Superior Views

We had incredible views of the lake from our living room and upstairs bedroom. The unit has a full kitchen, comfortable furniture and we all had our own space to relax in. We used the pool and hot tub. Our location is a great jumping off point to explore the beaches and state parks.

Can’t beat the views!

Beautiful condo with amazing views! Loved the fireplace in the living room and also in the upstairs bedroom! Kids loved the pool. Staff was super friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Great views! Lots of space and comfortable beds. We used the sauna a couple of times. Only drawback was that the blinds for the upstairs bedrooms let in a lot of light so we all woke at sun-up. We didn't anticipate waking at 6-6:30 AM each day and it made for a tired and cranky family.

Excellent!!!! Wonderful place. The location can’t be beat. Kitchen had everything we needed (except blender?) Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect! Free coffee at the lodge next door was delicious too. I hope we can stay again soon . So grateful the owners have offered this on VRBO.

Loved the Fireplace

Cabin was just as described. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are upstairs, so keep in mind if you have mobility issues. More than well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake. The wood-burning fireplace was such a treat!!

Grandma’s marathon weekend

What a beautiful location and a perfect stay, to enjoy Grandmas marathon for runners and spectators! Check in was easy and communication was great! Super clean and well stocked for our group of 9. All agreed it was so beautiful!

Spring Break Get Away

Loved staying at Grand Superior Lodge. Kitchen was VERY well stocked with all the essentials. Unusually mild March weather made it a great location for exploring the North Shore. Kids loved having access to the pool in the main lodge. We loved having multiple rooms overlooking lake Superior.

A Great time with Friends

Our stay was very comfortable and the view and location couldn't be better. We did have a few maintenance issues with the kitchen but they responded very quickly and fun to meet the excellent maintenance guys! Thanks for another great time on the North Shore!!

We loved the place!!!

We loved our stay! So much things to do! Lutsen, Gooseberry falls and kayaking were fantastic! Our daughters loved indoor pool. The cafe across the rode was amazing! The best pie I ever ate! The only 2 negatives were the kitchen floors were sticky (I ended up cleaning myself) and the service and breakfast food on the restaurant lodge was not good and overpriced. Also, two amazing things were the jacuzzis in the rooms and th grill outside on the patio! We grilled every night. I definitely recommend this rental! Best 5 days for our family vacation ❤️! We will be back for certain 😀!

Location was perfect!

The property is in a great location to see all the attractions we wanted to see. The property manager was very prompt when the air conditioning didn't work. The only complaint I have is that it could be cleaned better as far as the amount of spiders and spider webs. I realize it was northern MN but with proper cleaning after every visit I would think this could be handled better. There was also dust in the corners and on the end tables. The restaurant was wonderful, the hostess/waitress we had was very courteous and did a great job! The food was also very good.

This was one of the best stays we have had! The property was awesome for our 4 year old girls. They had fun riding their bikes and exploring down by the water. The house was very well stocked (dishes, paper products, etc) and very clean! The view was amazing to wake up too as well. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This cabin was so much more beautiful and spacious than we even anticipated. The photos on the listing do not due justice to how spectacular the view is. I could wake up every morning for the rest of my life to that view. I loved that the fireplace in the master is gas with a switch to start. It made relaxing by the fire in the bed or tub so easy!The lodge itself was also so special. Great for the kids with the pool, which included a ton of toys and flotation vests. We loved exploring the shoreline below the cabin when we were not exploring the area. Another fun unexpected thing was the VHS collection upstairs. Our kids got a kick out of watching them in their room.
