Welcome to Studio 4980, a charming private entrance studio with two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Occupying the entire second floor of a historical New Albany building constructed in 1850 and fully renovated in 2023, it offers a vintage and rustic experience blended with modern comforts. Nestled in a serene neighborhood, this inviting residence offers an array of amenities to enhance your vacation experience.

Girls night!

We had a wonderful time at this property! The check in process was easy. It’s located in a nice area. The decor was lovely. Very clean and as described on booking site. The location is gated and felt safe. We had a great time playing games and watching movies after having dinner Easton which was about a 12 minute drive.

Cozy Comfort

My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying here. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were cozy and bright, and the kitchenette had everything we needed for our stay. The host thought of every comfort we could have wanted. We would definitely stay here again.

Buyer BewareThe property is perfect for hosting an event or an overnight stay. We were staying for a week and it did not work for us at all. The listing said there is a kitchenette but its more like a room that they put some kitchen stuff in. There's a tiny toaster oven and tiny microwave so coooking is not really an option. There's also no sink so what dishes we did use we had to rinse in the bathroom sink. (No dish soap, washcloths, or towels were provided. )They used to have a countertop dishwasher but took it out to put in a washer and dryer. Nice, but I could go to a laundromat. We left after 2 days of trying to make it work. Even though the listing was incorrect they would not refund any of our money. I will be working with VRBO to see what can be done there. I have a vacation rental and have stayed in several and this is the first time I've ever left a bad review. I just wanted to let the next people who consider renting it to know what to expect.

Loved It

This was perfect for a one night stay. Ellie is very responsive. Doesn’t have a traditional kitchen; we didn’t need one but just sharing as we assumed it did. Location is pretty easy to get to and close enough to Ohio State or downtown Columbus to make this a nice option if you’re doing something at either of those.

I missed the part about needing a photo ID so when I arrived I looked for information about the gate and saw that and facepalmed while sending a photo of my ID while my children were scolding me for not reading the email This is like a mixed event and boarding space setup I think. The upstairs area for rent has a kitchenette-e-nette with a little tabletop dishwasher down the hall. You won't be cooking here, but there's a fridge and coffee waiting for you. The main living room space is nice, roomy and comfortable. No AirPlay to the TV i think it's on a different network but my iPad's mini-dock has hdmi so I was fine.The wifi is unreliable out of the central location and living room space. The two bedrooms are not able to stay on wifi reliably. The Roku on the tv probably works alright because it's the closest point in the room to the AP I suppose? It wasn't awful but I did download my audio book at bedtime instead of streaming it. Not a big deal for anyone but my 10yo who is essentially stranded in a deserted island without wifi.Really cute, with eclectic decor. Versatile spaces. My children and I overnighted here returning from vacation. Would happily stay again! Photos are from my phone or drone.

A Relaxing Stay During a Busy Lacrosse Weekend

We stayed here for a weekend lacrosse tournament, and it was such a great find. Way better than cramming our family into a hotel room—this place had all the space and comfort we needed after long days out on the field.The outdoor area was a huge bonus. We loved being able to kick back outside, enjoy the quiet, and just relax for a bit between games. Definitely helped us reset and recharge.Elitsa, the host, was super responsive and very helpful. Our game schedule changed last-minute, and she worked with us to get an earlier check-in, which was greatly appreciated!All around, it was a smooth, comfy, and stress-free stay. Would absolutely come back if we’re in the area again!

Beautiful Studio!

The studio was fantastic! Beautifully decorated and so clean! Just a really fun place! Due to the weather we were not able to enjoy the outside space but it was awesome. So many wonderfully decorated spaces! I can’t recommend this place enough! Loved it!

Beautiful property with many added touches

We had a wonderful stay for a friends weekend in Columbus. The property is decorated beautifully, and we loved the historic charm of the property. A couple of things that we noted to the host about our stay that would make it even better included: *a mirror in the 2nd bedroom*a bigger sign to differentiate the event space from the VRBO *the 5th sleeping space is only large enough for a child (it is a small pull-out couch)*the bathroom door is a barn style door that has a rather large gap when closed The host said she was quickly working on fixing these things to make the property even better. Overall we had a wonderful time. It was in a great location, and the host was very responsive. We would love to come back again and stay in the future!

Chic and Cozy Columbus Stay

11 out of 10... The host is so responsive. Checks ID which made me feel safe before I even arrived. Parking was right in front of the entrance, even with an event at the downstairs location the evening of our stay. We couldn't hear anything from upstairs while the event was going on. The place is absolutely gorgeous. There is coffee and a water cooler and everything you need in a kitchenette, the bathrooms are stocked, every room has perfect furniture (makes me want them to come style my house) and baskets of soft blankets. The towels are soft and smelled so good. Everything was super clean and comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The outdoors was so cute and my teenagers took advantage of some great photo opps. I haven't stopped talking about how nice this place was since we first got there. I look forward to booking again.

Cozy and perfect for relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming studio! The space was thoughtfully designed, making it feel much larger than it is, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was super cozy, the kitchenette was well-equipped, and the decor gave it such a welcoming vibe. The location was fantastic—and we very much enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere l. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing clear instructions and even allowed us to arrive early! This studio was the perfect place for our trip and I’d highly recommend it to solo travelers or couples looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay. We definitely be back! Let me know if you’d like to adjust it further!

This property was beautiful. We had a great stay. The home was a great cross between the old historic beauty and modern touches. The property outside was wonderful and inviting. The place is close to the city, but just enough for a quiet night.

The rental was very charming and a great location for us. We loved the decorations and received quick responses from the host, Ellie. She was great at giving us some options of places to check out in the area. Wish it didn’t rain the weekend we came so we would have been able to enjoy the outside area.
