Welcome to "Hilltop Hideaway Chalet" nestled in the woods of Northern Michigan, this home features 4-bedrooms (3 King Beds), 3-full bathrooms and is located centrally in Schuss Mountain, a popular ski & golf destination and one of the three villages in the Shanty Creek Resort. This chalet has been tastefully updated with modern amenities and is well maintained with mini split heat pumps and A/C for year-round rentals. The Home
Enjoy a quiet Northern Michigan stay in your private chalet on a sprawling wooded lot at the end of a cul-de-sac with extra room for parking in the lower-level circular driveway in front of the house. This spacious vacation home has been updated with 2 smart TV’s with streaming capabilities, Wi-fi Internet, fully equipped kitchen, a deck with grill, new mattresses and bedding, mini split heat & air conditioning, 2 gas log fireplaces, a newly added fire pit area and a GAME ROOM! Rental includes the use of a pool pass (Indoor & Outdoor) for all guests.

The main floor great room is accented with a towering brick fireplace, vaulted wood ceilings, & opens to the wraparound deck. The large primary bedroom is upstairs on the 2nd floor with a private bath & a balcony with woodland views. The main & lower levels each offer an additional bedroom & bath. On the walkout lower level, you'll also find a game room w/ a pool table (re-felted last season), electronic corn hole toss and darts arcade game, board & card games, a smart TV with streaming capabilities and a fireplace and twin bunk beds. Walk down to the new firepit area to enjoy the stars and s’mores. Other amenities include a well-stocked coffee/tea bar.

If you are traveling with a young child, we also offer a pack-n-play, high-chair, and three different sized baby gates.

Pet Policy
Please note that we no longer allow dogs. If a dog is on the property, there will be an additional charge of $100 per day per dog.
