Welcome to Lilly’s Guesthouse, a peaceful two-bedroom, two-bath retreat perched at the top of Hansen Hill in rural Arroyo Grande. Surrounded by mossy oak trees and overlooking the rolling hills of the Huasna Valley, this beautiful home offers the perfect mix of rustic charm, comfort, and convenience. Just five minutes from the Village of Arroyo Grande and midway to Lopez Lake, it’s an ideal spot to relax, explore, and reconnect with nature.

This private guesthouse offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay:
• Cozy living room with plush seating and a large Roku Smart TV
• Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and everything you need to cook at home
• Dining area for shared meals or game nights
• Private washer and dryer inside the home
• Spacious outdoor deck with peaceful seating to enjoy the views and fresh country air

Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck or watching a movie after a day exploring the coast, this home is designed for total comfort.

🛌 Sleeping Arrangements
• Primary Suite: King-size bed, Roku Smart TV, and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower
• Guest Bedroom: Queen-size bed with a full bathroom just across the hall
• Bonus Room: Connected to the primary suite, this flexible space includes a vanity and works well as a quiet office, nursery, or playroom. You can set up a pack 'n play or twin floor mattress for a child to sleep close to mom and dad.

The layout is perfect for couples, families, or even two friends or couples traveling together.

🌾 Know Before You Book
Please note that this is a rural, working farm property:
• You may hear roosters or other barnyard sounds during the day
• Occasional (infrequent) noise may carry from a nearby private gun range
• The home runs on well water, so in rare cases of power outage, water may be temporarily unavailable
• These are natural and rare occurrences that come with the rural charm—refunds will not be issued for things outside our control

🐾 Pet-Friendly
We welcome up to 2 pets! A $100 non-refundable pet fee applies per pet. Guests must review and agree to our pet policy before booking. 🐶🐾

Our family enjoyed our stay at Lilly’s Guest House. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet home, with great views and all the amenities you’d need. Would definitely stay again in the future.

We were in the area to celebrate my 90 year old father's wedding anniversary. Lilly's Guest House is wonderful. It is located in the country and has a view of the ocean and surrounding areas. Guest house was super clean and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- even the early morning rooster.Only wrinkle was that near the top of the hill is a placard on a gate between two stone pillars with the address of the property. I believe the placard may be placed at the animal sanctuary gate, but you need to continue driving to the right up the road to the top of the hill to reach Lilly's Guest House. My sister and I found it confusing and it took a while for us to understand we needed to continue driving further up the hill.

Nice view.

Very hospitable host. Location a little hard to get to, but reasonable distance from town. Nice view but limited furniture on back deck. Most of outdoor furniture at front door.

Exceptional guesthouse

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The house itself was clean and bright, with a basket of snacks for weary travelers. The spectacular view of the countryside from the balcony included the Pacific Ocean. There were board games which we played in the evenings and there was a two-car garage with a third parking space alongside if required. The master bedroom even has its own separate dressing room.It’s about a 20 minute drive along winding country roads through vineyards to SLO and is closer to some of the beaches.The background soundtrack includes roosters and other animals at the animal sanctuary down the hill and we were kindly given a tour. Worth sparing half an hour if you can - some very happy animals!

Lovely spot in the country side -- but close to everything you need

Lilly's Guest House was a great place for us to stay for a few days. Comfortable beds, lovely location, very kind host. Recommended!

Great clean dog friendly spot

We stayed with some friends and our dogs over Thanksgiving to be near family close by. The house was clean, great views and biggest plus is they were happy to let us bring our dogs since it’s so hard to find dog care over holidays. It is a guest house basically right next to the owners house but they gave us plenty of privacy. Plenty of warm blankets and towels, owner Erika left us some snacks and wine which was so thoughtful. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing experience, We loved it

We had a fabulous stay and loved every minute. The cottage was well stocked and all our needs were met over and beyond our expectations. We really appreciated the little treats that the host had left for us and we enjoyed them thoroughly. The location too was perfect. Only 5 mins drive to the quaint and lovely Arroyo Grande downtown and 15-20 mins drive to all beaches and winery ! We will definitely recommend to our friends and are sure to revisit in the future. We will surely give it a 5 star rating. The only feed back we had was regarding the mattresses in the 2nd bedroom. They were slightly uncomfortable and did not provide a good night's sleep. If those can be replaced with better ones, there would be no room for any complaints.
