With the only grocery store in downtown 1 block away, this is the perfect home base for your Savannah getaway. It can get hot here! So, when your done exploring take a dip in the pool and relax on the back deck. Then head back out to enjoy the city's exciting night life complete with ghost tours, trendy bars & pubs, shows, and some of the best restaurants in the country.

Amazing place to stay

Great communication, walking distance from pretty much everything. We had a great time. When we come back to Savannah, we will be staying here again.

Great little place!

This was a great place to stay and offered everything we needed. Walking distance to downtown was around 20 minutes or so and we could walk to Forsyth Park in about 5 minutes. Krogers was just a couple of blocks away as well as restaurants and coffee shops. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Awesome!

We stayed here for my friends bachelorette weekend. It was absolutely perfect! Close to every where we wanted to go, and anything we would need during our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone! If I have to come back to Savannah for a stay I will def look for this property again!

Location

Very good location, near Forsyth Park, walking distance or near the free shuttle bus. The pool was awsome! No warm water in the shower (or it took long time to get it. Over all we were very satisfied.

Comfortable like home

My husband and I were on our honeymoon. After a three day stay at a lovely inn, it was nice to come to a place that felt like home to complete our stay in Savannah. After touring the city, it was pleasant to have a place to prepare our own meals and enjoy the pool. The accommodations were very nice and clean. We would surely stay again...maybe on our anniversary! Great choice if you are in town!

Lovely property and owners were very helpful.

The condominium is very pleasant, well-equipped and very conveniently located. The only problem was that we had difficulty getting hot water consistently in the master bathroom sink and shower, so that is the only reason we wouldn't give it 5 stars.

Great location, spacious and close to everything!

This space has everything you need to enjoy your time in vacation. Walking distance to Krogers and Forsyth Park, and your own shared pool in case you don't want to drive to Tybee. We had no problems, but David was accessible regardless. We love this location and will return. Thanks!

Place was fully equipped and cleaned. The necessities were all there. Close trips to stores and entertainment. The tub jets were inoperable during bath time. Other than that, I will be in touch to rent again. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved it!

A friend and I decided to take a girls trip to Savannah. This cute condo was perfect. The beds were super comfy. The washer and dryer were newer and worked great. We didn't have a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. I plan to go back with my hubby in the future and hope to rent this unit again!

Nice stay

The home had a lot of character. Nicely furnished with modern kitchen, comfortable surroundings and a pool. There was no soap in the shower but no big deal as there is a Kroger and Dollar Tree within walking distance. Building is old but this lends to charm of being in Savannah. Very close to Forsyth Park. We walked very easily down to River Street with stops along the way.

Amazing Bachelorette

We had an amazing experience here. The property was exactly as expected and portrayed online. It was obviously not brand new, but what is in an old city like Savannah? Everything was clean and we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. David and Luciana were more than accommodating and were available to assist with anything we needed. We will definitely be staying with them again when we return to Savannah!

As far as the architecture, the comfort of the beds, the decor, & the pool - excellent! However, the water pressure was extremely poor. There were times when we were unable to take showers. So much so that we would probably not stay there again.

Beautiful and Comfortable

Easy check in process, communication with Luciana and David was flawless and on point. Owners really seem to care about your stay. Pool was great and I like the privacy of the deck. The other renters were nice and friendly. Kitchen is fully stocked. Loved having the convenience of the washers and dryers. Location was great for walking and close to alot of staples. Supermarket is not even 2 blocks away and good restaurants near by. Best thing is the Historic District North was only a 3 min car ride and about a 20-30 min walk. Depending where you are going. Will definitely come back and stay here. This is our 3rd time in Savannah, but first time in a rental and it won't be our last.

Wonderful Savannah "home."

Our original vacation was to take place in October. But Hurricane Matthew had other plans. David (the owner) gave us the option of rescheduling within six months, or he would refund our deposit. We opted to reschedule. The condo is super comfortable. It's very close to everything in Savannah. David met us when we arrived, and gave us a tour of the condo. He asked us to please let him know if we needed anything. He wasn't kidding. We couldn't figure out how to get the shower to give us hot water. He came over and showed us that the shower in the bathroom works the opposite of how one would think. You must bring the faucet over to the left for hot. Once he showed us, it worked great. There were chocolates on our pillows, and extra chocolates in a little glass dish. I would definitely use this condo again. The only "negative" feature was the weather. It was so cold in Savannah in March! Surely an aberration. And nothing that would reflect badly on this condo. This place is wonderful.

Scam Artist/Horrible Customer Service

I only give 1 star because I have to give something. I booked this property for us to stay at from September 7-9, 2017 while we took my mother to Savannah to celebrate her 75th birthday. We flew into Atlanta to my brothers and drove to Savannah. As instructed I contacted the owner when we were an hour away. I was informed by him that the Governor of Georgia had issued a mandatory evacuation of Savannah because of Hurricane Irma. Everyone was supposed to be out by Saturday morning at 8:00 am. He advised me that we should not come. As we spoke he was at Home Depot getting supplies to board up windows at his property. I was a bit irritated that he did not call me as soon as the evacuation was issued but I did understand given the circumstances. The owner informed me while on the phone that I had two options, he would either refund part of my payment for the property of we could rebook prior to March of 2018. I am sorry but PARTIAL??? This was a mandatory evacuation issued by the Governor of Georgia! I understand that people need to make a living but this is ridiculous! I contacted Home Away and they called the property owner on my behalf to try to reason with him to return the money given the circumstances. He REFUSED to budge! He was rude and disrespectful on the phone when we spoke to him. I would NEVER recommend that anyone book with this property owner for any of his properties (it sounds like he has a few)! Human decency does not seem to be a priority to him. Unbelievable!!! I hope that Home Away removes his properties from their site! Shame on you!

Too cold to swim. Strong musty smell. I think a dehumidifier would be good. The mattress in the small room sank in the middle and felt like I was sleeping on a slant. The property was clean but the cleaning charge was excessive.

My wife and I visited Savannah with our 8 month old daughter and this was a perfect spot for us. Having the pool was a great additional treat along with close location to Forsyth Park for walks. The pack n play was also great to have. We would book this property again!

Stayed here in May for a girl's trip (3 of us). Great location, short walking distance to the grocery store and Forsyth Park. It is about a mile to walk to the main area of town.The house is a bit quirky but fit our needs. The front bedroom is quite large and has a king bed. The living area had a couch and two chairs (one turned into a twin size pull out- and I have to say it was comfy- and this is coming from a 49yr old, not a kid). There is a 1/2 bath off the kitchen. The second bedroom is at the back of the house and that is also how you get to the main bathroom (with the only shower) and the outdoors. My two friends said the beds were not that comfortable and possible need updated mattresses. The house itself is older (1823) and could use some repairs. In the kitchen part of the ceiling is drooping down, the microwave above the stove does not work- but there is a microwave on the counter. I had to look under the bed for my ChapStick that rolled under it (floors slope a bit) and it was very dirty/dusty. The baseboards had layers of dust on them. With a good cleaning it would shine! Now the best part-outdoors! Your own private balcony with a table and four chairs. The shared space has lounge chairs, picnic table with umbrella and a wonderful pool. It is the perfect place to relax. While I was outside, I met the "pool guy" who did a great job of cleaning it (and keeping it clean) from the storm that came through the previous week. Would I stay here again, yes!

Hello. This is Chad & Bobbi and welcome to our little piece of historic downtown Savannah. We came to Savannah 23 years ago on a friend's recommendation and fell in love with city. We have been living in the area ever since. As time goes by the city just keeps getting better. I hope you will find it as charming, romantic, and quirky as we do!

You picked a great location to explore the city. The condo is only a short walk to the famous Forsyth Park where parts of Forest Gump were filmed and host to many of the city's festivals and events. While you can find Forsyth on any tourist map, you won't see local gems such as Mate Factor Bakery, Treylor Park Pizza or Betty Bombers WWII themed bar. All just a few minuets walk from the condo.

You are also a 20 min walk or 5 min Uber ride to River Street, City Market, and the new(ish) Plant Riverside District. This is the heart of the tourist area and a must see. These areas are home to hundreds of unique bars, restaurants, and shops.

You are the same distance to the new and trendy Starland District. This area is home to the up-and-coming entertainment destination. It is centered by the Starland Yard container park. The whole place is made from old shipping containers.

The condo is also located about 30 min from the areas only public beach, Tybee Island. This can make a nice day trip and offers plenty of its own restaurants, shops, and activities.

The house was built in 1893 for Mr. James Leonard. Mr. Leonard was a prominent Savannah business owner and is buried in the historic Bonaventure cemetery. You can go visit him if you'd like. We did! There is a plaque from the Savannah Historical Society on the front of the house, commemorating the building.

We also have a pool! You will not find too many properties in the downtown area with a pool. The lots are typically small and simply cannot fit them. While the pool is shared with the rest of the units, there only 9 so it's never crowded.

You will also find a picnic basket on top of the cabinet in the back room. This is NOT A DECORATION, please use it. Forsyth is a great place for a picnic and Kroger is located right in between the condo and the park.
