Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: There are three exterior cameras all facing the property, the hot tub is not within the cameras for privacy purposes

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great weekend stay.

We enjoyed staying at this place. We saw seals swimming out front, and a bald eagle flying by. We would stay there again!

Excellent location, good for young children to learn about a salt water beach. Could have better instructions for use of electronics.

A very nice vacation house with private (community) beach

This house is located within a private, gated community with its own beach. It's very comfortable to stay for vacation, and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the time staying at this vacation house. Drawback: we did not find extra towels for the hot tub, and we found the dryer's lint trap has not been cleaned for a long time - we don't feel comfortable to use the dryer.

Beautiful

Pros: The place is beautiful, lots of books, movies, games are available, the kitchen is well stocked, comfy beds, the beach is l9vely to walk down. Cons: hot tub wouldn't heat, the gate code box was a bit tricky to find at first and there wasn't instructions on where it is(it's over by the mailboxes) but that's minor.

Quiet spot to get away

House is in a great central location on the island. No direct beach access at the house - you need to walk down a few homes. Also, there isn’t much sand for kids to play at when the tide goes out. But the backyard is one big sandpit so the kids enjoyed that. Hot tub didn’t heat past 88 degrees. Disappointing this didn’t get fixed despite an earlier review on it from a few months prior. Lots of kid toys to keep the little ones busy. No bath tub in the house but the showers are nice. Big apple tree in the front yard that attracts deer, bunnies, squirrels, and birds. Gets a little messy and this time of the year with half eaten apples everywhere. Overall, nice place to stay if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

Great place, not exactly on the beach

It was a good stay, could be better had there not been air fresheners we had to investigate and remove. It was very overwhelming, the smell. Given the place was so very nice, towel warmers (we have them at home so I recognize them), toto toilets (in airbnb?!? :), open/airy and inviting, none of the bedding or towels were scented, there were TWO terrible smelling air fresheners, lol. The patio screen was completely broken, not usable. Not on the beach as I had thought, which was the only reason I rented the place, for my kids. But it wasn't bad to walk down to the private beach, many many crabs, kids had lots of fun, so I'm happy. The only 2-3 downsides were: 1) the severe air fresheners, no one can breath - easy fix. 2) patio door was completely broken, not usable - easy fix. 3) downstairs was mostly carpeted, it was hard to keep track of whether or not we tracked sand in. Oh well, I think it's to the owners advantage to have not have carpet :) Oh, last thing, the circuit for the hottub kept tripping. I wonder if it's because I was charging my car? But had to flip the circuit every night. Maintenance was VERY responsive - Thank you! In summary - I would recommend this to others, very serene, quiet. House is obviously not built for airbnb with high end finishes. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
