Located in beautiful and serene Playa Pelada, where lush tropical gardens meet the serene ocean breeze, Casas Cielo y Mar are designed to offer a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance, making it the perfect choice for those seeking the ideal blend of tranquility and adventure, without sacrificing luxury. The complex provides two 1-bedroom, 1-bath units, with an added pull-out slate bed in the living area which opens up to a second queen size bed, allowing for a total of 8 guests. Enjoy the entire complex and your private pool with the family or group, away from the higher cost and bustle of Playa Guiones.
Casas Cielo y Mar are thoughtfully designed with airy, open spaces, modern amenities, and stylish decor that reflects the vibrant charm of Costa Rica. Enjoy your morning coffee on a private patio, take a short walk to the beach or short ride to world-class surfing, or unwind in the lush garden as the sun sets over the Pacific. Casa SeaEsta built Casa Cielo and Casa Mar in 2023, with the vision of creating an oasis for their guests to escape to and to find comfort in during their visit to our beautiful beach town. Casas Cielo y Casa Mar are mirror images of one another, providing a cohesive and welcoming environment. Each Casa may also be rented individually.
Property Highlights:
- Prime Location: Just a short stroll to the beach, where you can enjoy swimming or sunset walks, and wonderful restaurants.

- Private Outdoor Spaces: Each Casa features a private patio and garden area, perfect for al fresco dining, morning yoga, or lounging with a book.
- Pool: The pool, designed to include entry points and sitting areas at each end, is a perfect way to cool down on those hot days or relax after a day of fun and adventure. *The pool does not have a shallow end for small children and is not fenced.
- Modern Amenities: Fully equipped kitchens, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and smart TVs ensure you have all the comforts of home.

Guest Access:
Guests will have private access to their Casa, sharing part of the garden pathways and sharing the pool. Each Casas offers a peaceful stay while being part of a small, exclusive community.
Location:
Nestled in the heart of Playa Pelada, Nosara, Casas Cielo y Mar are close to a variety of activities and attractions. From surfing and stand-up paddleboarding to local markets and delicious dining, you’ll find everything you need just moments away. Explore the vibrant local culture, visit nearby wildlife refuges, or simply relax on the beach.
Additional Amenities:
- Complimentary beach towels
- Secure parking on the property for two vehicles
- Available Property Manager to assist with your stay
- Security glass sliding doors have black-out blinds in each room
- Gated code entry and private gated parking
- Laptop-size safes in each Casa
House Rules:
- No smoking inside either Casa or anywhere on the property
- No pets allowed
- Quiet hours from 9 PM to 6 AM to respect other guests and neighbors
- Check-in: 4 PM | Check-out: 11 AM (early check-in or late check-out may be available on request)

Roads to Pelada:
As still a developing country, some of the roads in Costa Rica, including the road to and surrounding Nosara are still unpaved and can be bumpy, with potholes in some areas. While this is part of the charm of the area, a 4x4 vehicle to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey is suggested.
Security:
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community, and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the very few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). However, Casa Cielo y Mar are gated, maintaining motion detected cameras on the outer perimeter of the property and a safe inside the home for your belongings. The guest, and not the Homeowner or Property Manager, is ultimately responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and should ensure all doors are locked and gate closed every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity:
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that neither the Homeowner or the Property Manager has any control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. Of course, if there is any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager immediately and they will do what they can to assist you.
Water:
Though the property does maintain a back-up water tank, During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut offs.
Jungle Creatures:
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped and/or store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters, minimize eating in the bedrooms, and keep screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds:
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. Additionally, as this area is a rapidly growing community, we cannot guarantee that there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance:
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.

My husband, Jason, and I fell in love with Costa Rica many years ago. Our greatest joy, besides our children, was to create our own oasis in Pelada. We did that when we created and finished Casa Sea-Esta. We are now proud to offer Casa Cielo and Casa Mar, finished in 2023, to provide those coming to visit our beautiful country, a similar luxurious, yet comfortable and fun home away from home during their stay.
