The Space:
Tucked away in the picturesque village of Sugar Mountain, NC, this charming property is the perfect home base for guests of all ages, offering a blend of comfort and convenience for year-round adventures.

After a day of exploring, whether it’s skiing, hiking, or sightseeing, relax in our cozy two-bedroom suite. With its inviting atmosphere, wood-burning fireplaces, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains, it’s the perfect retreat. The suite is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities like Wi-Fi, Cable TV, a full kitchen, a convenient wet bar, and a private balcony to take in the fresh mountain air.

This spacious two-bedroom unit comfortably sleeps up to eight guests. The main bedroom features a king bed, while the guest bedroom has two twin beds. The living area offers two queen sleeper sofas—one in the loft area just outside the bedroom, and the other in the main living room. Two full bathrooms add extra convenience. The private balconies provide a serene spot to enjoy the mountain views.

At The Highlands at Sugar, a variety of on-site amenities ensure your stay is as relaxing or active as you desire. Soak in the European-style hot tub, swim in the heated indoor pool, or unwind in the redwood sauna. The recreation room and children’s play area are perfect for family fun, while the free shuttle to the Sugar Mountain Base Lodge (available on weekends during ski season) makes it easy to get around. In the summer, enjoy outdoor activities like ziplining, gem mining, and horseback riding, or immerse yourself in local festivals and events.
