Best Bama Beach House!

Clean Slate on kaunis 4 makuuhuoneen, 4 WC yhden perheen kotiin suoraan Meksikonlahdella. Ranta on teidän takaovesta ja vesi on vain muutaman askeleen päässä. Kotimme tarjoaa tauon ahtaasti rannat, vapaa ruuhkia liittyy asuntoyhtiöitä.

Clean Slate ominaisuuksia hyvällä maulla sisustettu tarjota mukavan ympäristön loma tai perääntyä. Kun Clean Slate ei ole vuokrattu, me (omistajat) miehittää kotiin. Tämä varmistaa parhaan hoidon ja ylläpidon (ja se näkyy). Koti on erittäin puhdasta.

Perfect vacation

Really could not ask for a lovelier home to stay in. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully furnished, and of course, with spectacular views from their great location…..just a perfect oceanfront spot! I’ve been coming to Clean Slate Beach House for nearly 15 years, and every stay is nothing short of amazing! It’s become my go-to getaway, for good reason! From stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that never fail to take our breath away to the immaculate home itself, with every detail thoughtfully designed to make it feel like a home away from home. We love that the beach is just steps away, providing easy access to the ocean (and beach volleyball) whenever we want. And when you’re done at the beach, the outdoor space is perfect for relaxing—from the outdoor shower to the incredible back decks (yes, decks!) and the play space and toys under the house when you need a break from the sun (or wind).Inside, the spacious and comfortable floor plan allows for quality time playing games, cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and watching movies with family and friends. And when it’s time to sleep, there’s not a bad room in the house. Each room has its own bathroom and is thoughtfully decorated and cozy.Whether you’re coming to Clean Slate to relax, explore or make memories with loved ones, this beach house is a true gem!

Beach Life

This was our fourth trip to Clean Slate with our children and grandchildren, and we hope to return another day. The location is wonderful and the property is kept in great condition. We all love to cook and share meals, and the kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for family cooking. Communication with the owners is easy, and they are responsive to the renters’ needs. We love that our small dog is welcome in the house and on the beach. Highly recommend.

Care Free Vacationing

Clean Slate exceeded our families expectations and it was even better than the VRBO website illustrates! Though we were aware of the five-star rating and great reviews, we weren't ready for was just how complete Clean Slate would be. The owners care for the property and it shows. Everything was clean, fresh, and high quality. The home allows for plenty of privacy with each bedroom having its own private bathroom. When it was time to get together the large open den, dining, and bar areas made it easy for everyone to congregate. Access to the beach could not be easier. The dune walk goes right to the beach. The owners provide a huge tent, chairs, and cooler, which made the beach easy to enjoy. The screened-in porch was a great (and safe!) place for our young kids to play. With a clear view of the porch from the kitchen, it made watching our boys and preparing meals a breeze. The owners have clearly gone to great lengths to ensure the kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cookware, utensils, and other items necessary to prepare meals small and large. Given the beach house is on a limited access road there was no traffic other than guests and residents who live on the street, which was a nice bonus for us. On the one day of rainy weather we were able to leverage the parking pad to keep the kids entertained with plenty of activities. It's clear the owners care about the house and their guests - we highly recommend Clean Slate!

Perfect Vacation House

We cannot say enough nice things about this property and/or the owners! We travel with this group often and there were nothing but positive remarks the entire trip. This trip was without kids and the 8 of us each had our own room, bathroom & the kitchen was stocked perfectly for a group who likes to cook! This home is loved by it's owners and it shows. Also, the tent with chairs on the beach was such an added bonus. Highly recommend! Thank you, Dan & Helen!

Our stay at Clean Slate was wonderful from beginning to end! The house was beautiful and very well taken care of. The owner was beyond helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Another Great Trip!!

Dan and Helen have done it again. This was our second trip to stay in this house and we weren't disappointed. Dan and Helen are the best hosts. Can't say enough good things about them. They have a great house right on the beach with EVERYTHING you need to have a great stay. We love staying at this house and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach house with all the amenities. Thank you to Dan and Helen for a wonderful place to stay and we will be back as soon as we can. We started planning our next stay before we left. Book this house you won't be disappointed. Dan and Helen are one of the best owners to work with. This is the 2nd time staying at their house. Clean Slate is as clean and pictured as in the past. Great Stay in Fort Morgan

We loved our time at clean slate. The house looks exactly like the pictures. We had plenty of space to spread out and the porch was lovely. We loved all the beach toys and chairs as well as the tent that was provided. We also enjoyed that this part of the beach is all houses, so it didn’t get crowded like some other areas of the gulf. Would recommend staying here!

30th Anniversary gathering !!

What a fantastic place to stay!!! Everything was better than expected. Dan & Helen made this trip Special and so easy. All of our guests were blown away by all the little things, like they had a tent setup on beach with great beach chairs. Clean Slate was perfect! The kitchen had everything you needed, the beds were great and the house was immaculate!! We will definitely be coming back. We made great memories!! Thanks CLEAN SLATE!!

Second time at this property

Second time at this property. It suits our family (six adults and a five year old) perfectly. Each couple has their own bedroom and bath. The house is big enough so that if one needs a little quiet you can escape to the hammock under the deck, the front porch sitting area, the screened in porch or one of two uncovered decks. This year there is also a canopy on the beach with chairs and tables. Yet the house is small enough that you don’t get lost in it. The kitchen seems to have everything you need for cooking great meals. It’s the Goldilocks house…..it’s just right

Family Vacation

There were no surprises, the beach house is as described. The kitchen is well equipped and the pots/pans are in good condition. The house was clean. Wonderful views of the Gulf to enjoy while sitting on the covered deck. Anything needed for the beach is provided. And if you like to read, there’s a library of books to choose from. Wonderful trip with the family.

Fabulous and restful

The house is beautifully decorated. It looks like something out of Southern Living magazine. Sheets, bedding, pillows all first class. You also wont need anything for the kitchen. Perfection. There are a few stairs to navigate to get in if you have someone physically challenged as we did but he was able to navigate with railings and lighting on stairs. Everything so well thought out. This one is wonderful. Everything you need for beach provided. Dont bring your own chairs there are plenty supplied.

Another Amazing Stay!

Five stars are not enough

This was our first visit to Fort Morgan and we had an amazing vacation at Clean Slate. Dan and Helen were welcoming, helpful, and very responsive. They provided us with great suggestions for local restaurants and things to do around the area. The property was extremely clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. The views were spectacular and we spent most of our time on the porch and at the beach. We were excited to see dolphins and the sunsets were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with all we needed plus much more. We visited during spring break and the beach was not crowded. The kids enjoyed the volleyball net and the huge collection of beach toys. My daughter said, “Five stars are not enough!” Thank you Dan and Helen for a fantastic family vacation at Clean Slate!

Excellent beech house with top notch owners!!

This was our first time renting a house on the beech instead of a condo. And we couldn't have pick a better place to stay than Clean Slate. This place truly is beautiful and clean. Dan was extremely helpful with answering all our questions prior to our trip and made us feel welcome in their home. Everything is there that you need to spend a wonderful vacation with friends or family. The only thing that was missing was a stocked fridge (which I'm sure could be arranged :-) ). We will definitely be returning to this great beech house the next time we visit. Thanks Dan and Helen for a wonderful first beech house experience.

"The third time is the charm," or so the saying goes, but all three stays at Clean Slate have been wonderful. We spent this Thanksgiving at Clean Slate with family; our other visits had been summer vacations. The beach view and sunsets from the porch and deck were spectacular! We love to cook, and Clean Slate's kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals and a big Thanksgiving dinner. Plus, the open floor plan of the living/dining area keeps the cooks connected to the rest of the family, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and football on TV...Roll Tide, but not so much fun for the Saints game this year! The four bedrooms and baths give privacy and some quiet time when needed. Just down the road 1.2 miles, Sassy Bass convenience store has almost anything you need, from meats, seafood, deli items, household supplies, and wine.

Amazing trip!

The house and location are fantastic! We discovered Fort Morgan a few years ago due to it being one of the few remaining pet friendly beaches on the Gulf. It quickly became our favorite vacation spot. Clean Slate is now our top pick of the homes we have stayed in, so much so that we booked a Spring 2022 trip during our stay! We really appreciate the Owners allowing us to bring our two dogs to their beautiful and amazing house! The kitchen is well stocked with about anything you could need. The house is decorated nicely and the couches and beds were very comfortable. Dan and Helen have thought of everything and even have nice beach chairs and a bin of beach toys available for the guests to use. We had a couple of days too chilly to sit on the beach with the wind but we were still able to enjoy the views and the amazing sunsets thanks to the screened in porch. The booking and check in process were easy and the Owners followed up during our stay to make sure everything was great. We definitely recommend this home and are looking very forward to our next visit!! Thank you Dan and Helen!!

Pretty much perfection

The house and location were perfect. The area is beach houses and not condos. The house itself was just lovely. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil and small appliance you would need. Not to mention dish ware for adults and plastic for the smaller children. The kitchen was large enough for multiple cooks with a bar and bar stools for the onlookers. The bedrooms and beds were most comfortable. They were big enough to allow people a place to retreat if need be. I rented the house because of the covered porch. It did not disappoint. There are times you want to be outside but not in the sun. There was a bin of beach toys that had every child’s sand toy. Buckets, sandcastle molds, shovels….the list changes but it had everything a small child would want. We were looking for a house that could sleep six adults not in bunk beds. I also wanted it big enough to have private spaces. I wanted covered outdoor spaces.. We had been to Ft. Morgan 30 years ago and it actually had not changed that much. Family quiet area.

Best Beach House Ever!

We had a wonderful week at Clean Slate in Fort Morgan, and have been forever spoiled! The house and the beach were amazing - quiet beach, very nice house, great screened porch, two decks and comfortable outdoor furniture. Dan, our host, was super - checking in on us at arrival and beyond.

In the old days of nautical navigation, a slate tablet was kept near the helm on which the watch keeper would record speeds, distances, headings and tacks during his stay at the watch. At the change of watch, the slate tablet would be wiped clean. The new watch would always start with a clean slate.

In a similar way today, we refer to a new beginning or a second chance as starting with a 'clean slate'. Our family has found that we are able to come here, forget about the things that worry us, review our plans for the future and get a fresh start upon leaving. If it is quiet-time you seek, Fort Morgan is the beach for you. Off-the-beaten path, Fort Morgan's allure is undeniable. Single family homes nestled among the dunes translate into 'no-crowding' on the beautiful white-sand beaches. Nature preserves afford safe haven for wildlife and a birders' paradise. For those in a more active mood, championship golf courses await. A full service marina with fishing charters is just down the road. Great restaurants invite you to sample the local culinary treasures.

The land of Fort Morgan is so pristine, you can imagine being the first to discover it. Scrub oaks hide colorful chameleons and nesting robins. Nesting American Bald Eagles and Ospreys plunge from the heights to secure meals for their hatch-lings. Pelicans drift serenely overhead, then suddenly plunge into the water. Pods of dolphins play in the water. The stars crowd the night sky in a spectacular display - you can actually see the Milky Way. To walk along the shores of Fort Morgan is to discover a place where time has seemingly distanced itself from the business of life. Perhaps it is the shape of the land, a long peninsula, which makes this place unique. Or perhaps something magical drifted in on the tropical breeze and simply never left.
