Jos etsit rauhallista, ylellisyyttä, rantahotellia kotiin nauttimaan hauskasta auringosta ja R & R: stä - älä etsi enää - Susanin hiekkalinna II on täydellinen paikka juuri niin ja paljon muuta!

Vieritä ikkunoita ja haista valtamerta, kun saavut naapurimaitamme ja valmistaudu näkemään Fort Morganin rantojen upeimmat siniset taivaat, valkoiset turvonneet pilvet ja sokerivalkoinen hiekka!

Kun vedet johonkin talon alla olevista kolmesta lahdesta - näet heti "rannan", saharohun kasvaessa kutsuvilla hiekkadyyneillä. Jos haluat ajaa (tai pyöräillä) ulkoramppia ylös - jotta voit heti kokea rannan -, pidä sitä! Ramppi vie sinut suoraan kannellemme, piknikpöydällä, Adirondack-tuolilla ja runsaasti rantaleluja nuorille ja sydämellesi!

Tiedämme, että on vaikeaa viedä silmäsi pois rannalta, lahdelta ja taivaalta - mutta vaikka lyhyet olkien vetäjät purkavat autot - loput voit kävellä Sand Dune Walkoverilla (Boardwalk) suoraan ranta. Voit ottaa lepotuoleja mukanasi. Mene kastamaan varpaasi veteen tai mennä kokonaan sisään. Laiha upottaminen (tai paksu-Dunking) on kielletty - kestää siis muutaman minuutin päästäksesi uimapukuihisi!

Susanin hiekkalinnan II iso huone on tilava - runsaasti tilaa perheellesi ja ystävillesi ruokailla yhdessä tai viettää aikaa, kun nimetyt kokit piiskaavat aterian täysin varustetussa keittiössä.

Jääkaappeja on kaksi täysikokoista (toinen on kodinhoitohuoneessa); liesi, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone ja jääkone - mikä tuottaa jopa 35 kiloa jäätä päivässä. Jokainen pieni keittiökone, jota haluatte, toimitetaan myös avuksesi. Kaapit on varustettu kaikella, mitä tarvitset ruoan valmistamiseen ja tarjoamiseen, jonka tulet mukaasi.

Ei tarvitse taistella siitä, kuka saa "parhaan huoneen" - koska ne ovat kaikki "parhaita huoneita"!

Kaksi King Master -sviittiä, joissa on tilavat kylpyhuoneet ja poreallas, odottavat sinua. Molemmilla on suora pääsy rannan reunalle. Yksi Master-sviitti sijaitsee kätevästi aivan suuren huoneen vieressä; ja toinen Master Suite on yläkerrassa.

Kaksi ylimääräistä king-makuuhuonetta sijaitsevat myös yläkerrassa ja rantaa kohti, ovet pääsevät parvekkeelle. Yhdessä näistä king-makuuhuoneista on oma kylpyhuone ja toisessa osittain yksityinen.

Lapset ovat iloisia nähdessään kerrossänkyn, jonka olemme luoneet juuri heille. Se nukkuu jopa 8 lasta, täysikokoiset patjat kahden kerrossängyn ylä- ja alapuolella.

Suuri huoneessa sijaitseva Queen-size-vuodesohva mahdollistaa ylimääräisen nukkumisen. Puoli-kylpyamme sijaitsee päätasolla, nurkan takana Suuresta huoneesta kaikkien avuksi.

Suuret taulu-älytelevisiot sijaitsevat jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa ja myös suuressa huoneessa. Paljon kirjoja ja pelejä tarjotaan päivän jälkeen auringossa tai harvinaisina sateisina päivinä.

Pyyhkeitä, pesulappuja, rantapyyhkeitä, liinavaatteita, tyynyjä ja peittoja ei toimiteta lisämaksusta. Pinottava pesukone / kuivausrumpu toimitetaan kodinhoitohuoneessa avuksesi.

Koti on rakennettu vuonna 2015, ja Susan itse kauniisti sisusti sen!

Tämä rantatalo on täydellinen perhejuhlia, lomia perheen / ystävien kanssa, yritysretriittejä ja paljon muuta! Siellä on 1500 dollaria. 00 lisämaksu hääistä.

Awesome Property

This is my second time to stay at this property and I will be back. Clean, great location! Kitchen has everything, including appliances, that you could possibly need. All you need to bring is swimsuit, few clothes, & groceries! The property manager is wonderful. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing Family Stay

House was amazing. Clean and very well kept and maintained. A worker was there making sure the outdoor light was working properly upon arrival. The check in and check out process was very convenient and no issues. The views were absolutely amazing. The house is set up perfect for a family.

The house was, in every sense of the word, perfect. Well appointed, and well prepared we wanted for nothing. The kitchen had every imaginable tool and appliance you might need and was well stocked with basic herbs and spices. The beds were comfortable and all but one room was facing the beach. Perfect for large family

Spring Break at Susan's Sand Castle II

This property is perfect! Everyone gets a king bed and the kids loved the bunk room. My only complaint is there's no fish cleaning station. This may not be important to most but our family loves fishing. Great location...very peaceful. We will be back.

Loved almost everything about this house. Only negative would be there are not enough chairs on the deck and they should be taller so you can enjoy the view of the beach without peering through slats. Also the mirror in the upstairs master needs to be bigger, my wife is 5’4” and could not see anything but her eyes! Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Great place

Everything was excellent. The decor was very pleasant, as you can see in the pictures. Things you can't see were all better than expected, like abundant table ware and dishes, very nice bath and beach towels, pleanty of deck and beach chairs, very good beds, etc. The flow of the common areas is very good. Very large table for eating and game playing. The kids loved the bunk room. Right on the beach. Very responsive management. We hope to stay here again.

Beautiful Home!!

This beach home was everything we expected and more!! Everything was very clean and kept up nicely! The beds were all extremely comfortable too! There were 8 adults in our group and plenty of space for more! The boardwalk to the beach made it so easy to get our fishing equipment and beach chairs to and from the beach every day. Janie quickly responded to a few questions we had and was very helpful and knowledgeable about this property. Thank you Susan and Jerry for sharing this wonderful home with us! It was truly a little piece of Heaven!!

Fantastic Fort Morgan Family Gathering

We’ve been holding an annual family week at the beach for 14 years now, and Susan’s Sand Castle II was as nice as any place we’ve stayed, and better than most. As the family has grown we have needed more and more space, and with FOUR bedrooms with beachfront access, it was perfect. We’ve never stayed anywhere with such easy beach access, or such great views from every bedroom. The home is well-furnished, with all appliances available and working properly. The home stayed cool even on the hottest days, something we’ve had issue with in other rentals. Basically, you could say Susan’s Sand Castle II was exactly as advertised, which was exactly what we hoped for. We will definitely plan to return,

We love this house!

I can’t say enough about SSC II. It’s a perfect house in a perfect location. This is our second time to stay at SSC II. Our last visit was June 2016. It’s clean, well maintained, and pretty well stocked. Both my mom and mother in law said there were some larger pots missing since our last stay. They improvised and all turned out fine. The views are great from the balconies. There are plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, and books to read. We love the Ft. Morgan area. It’s not too crowded. You’re not sitting on top of each other like the more populated areas. That is very important to us. It’s a little bit of a drive to get to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach if you’re wanting to do some shopping or dining. Though there are a few places to eat close by. Ex: Tacky Jack’s, Sassy Bass, and an area with Food Trucks. Watch for dolphins in the morning. Definitely try crab hunting at night. If I could live in this house full time, I would. I look forward to our next vacation at SSC II!

Completely in love!

Our stay at Susan's Sand Castle II was absolutely amazing. The house is practically brand new and immaculate. It felt like home from the moment we walked in the house. The welcome basket was a great touch! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and eat your meals, minus food of course. There were plenty of beach towels, chairs, and toys for everyone to enjoy. The views from the decks were amazing. The walkway from the house to the beach with an outdoor shower was a huge advantage. The kids room with the full size bunk beds is larger than it appears in the pictures, making it a great place for them to go off and play. The Fort Morgan area may be a little further away than you're expecting from everything, but it's completely worth it. The beaches aren't overcrowded like they would be in a more populated area like Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. Tacky Jack's, a restaurant, is literally a mile away and you can charter a fishing trip from the marina there as well, which is what some of us adults did one morning. This is the 3rd house I've stayed in, and the others majorly pale in comparison. I would definitely recommend this house and I hope that we're able to stay here again on our next family vacation. Completely in love and never wanted to leave!

We couldn't have asked for a better house to spend our vacation in! We had 16 people stay here which included 6 adults and 10 children ranging in age from 4-18. Everyone had the best time!!! Plenty of space for everyone. We spent most of our time playing in the ocean. This house was perfect for us because it was so close to the water. Everyone could go back and forth from the house to the beach as they wanted to. We have taken trips to other vacation houses in the past and this one is by far the best we've been to. Usually with this many people we have a hard time finding space for all our food that we bring. Not in this house! They have thought of everything...there's an extra fridge to put food in, a large pantry and an ice machine. They have a charcoal grill that we used a lot. Also extra beach chairs and body boards for us to use at the beach. The bedrooms we all so beautiful and very comfortable. Every one of them had a great view! The property manager, Dana, was wonderful and texted when there was a rip tide warning to make sure that we were aware. This house is just a couple of miles to Fort Morgan...which if you haven't been to I highly suggest you go see it. And it's about a 25 minute drive to LuLu's, which I also highly recommend. We all made so many wonderful memories on this vacation! We will for sure be back to this place!

Manager and House Itself Are Awesome...Owners Are Not

Janie the property manager is incredible and did all she could to save our disaster of a vacation. House is right on the beach and in great shape. Location is challenging...it's 30 minutes to anything and due to road construction on the only road in and out, it took us over an hour to get to Gulf Shores some days. If you need access to lots of activities, this is not the location for you. Normally we would have just stayed on the beach and not gone into town much. Unfortunately, we had brutal tropical-storm level weather our entire stay. Beaches were inaccessible our entire stay. Yes, our ENTIRE stay! While the owners' certainly cannot control the weather, a refund of one or two nights (out of the 7 paid for) would have been kind and appropriate. We have NEVER left a vacation early until this one. We spent over $6,000 for a nightmare of a trip...couldn't even go on the porch without the 25 mph winds smacking us in the face. Kids were traumatized just attempting to get on the beach. This is VERY unusual for the gulf apparently and I think the owners should acknowledge that this was not simply a day or two of storms. Again, we get that they can't control weather. But, this was not normal "bad" weather and a little kindness in this world sure would have meant a lot to us having spent our vacation budget to sit in a house all week. So, work with Janie to find a property with understanding owners and I think you'll be happy. *Note that we were offered a discount for a future stay but after driving 10 hrs with toddlers, that's never happening again with the riskiness of weather like we had. All in all a sad week.

My dear friends,

Jerry and I are so very happy when you spend your vacation with us! You are our invited guests and we want you to make lifelong memories at the beach.

We’ve been married 48 years in June of 2020. Working hard to raise and support our children, MATTHEW and JENNIFER, we expected to spend our retirement years quietly (which is not happening). In 2008, JENNIFER had twins on New Year’s Eve; a boy and a girl, Taylor and Tyler. They adore the beach and come down every summer. They are the apples of Papa’s and GeaGea’s eyes.

My darling husband knew my lifelong dream was to have a beach cottage. He made it his mission, when we got close to retirement, to make that dream come true! We looked all the way from the Florida coast to Alabama, until I saw the house of my dream . . . “Beachy Keen”. It’s previous name was The Pelican! It was perfect!

So, we were enjoying our fun in the sun, until a house came up for sale in the neighborhood. We were just talking on the porch, when one of us said “We could try the rental business.” Long story short - that became Susan’s Sand Castle I (SSCI).

We later purchased a lot, and Jerry built SSCII. After that, he needed another project, so he started from scratch, and SSCIII was born. I’ve had a ball decorating, since I want you to feel as if you’ve come home!

There went retirement, but God had other plans for us. We’ve had a ball and met some of the nicest people we’ve ever known!

P.S. Papa says, “There won’t be a SSCIV”, (even though our friends Shug and Fred say they are going to outgrow our biggest house!).

We found this property - at the very beginning of construction - at a time that the owner wanted to sell.

With Susan's 30 years as a real estate professional and Jerry's knowledge of construction and management - we were able to purchase this property and then completely design and decorate it based on what we knew our loyal guests from Susan's Sand Castle I would like - a beachfront house that we purchased several years before.

We then later were able to build another - even larger beachfront vacation home that's just a few miles away, called Susan's Sand Castle III.
