Torch Lake which is considered to be the 3rd most beautiful lake in the world is 19 miles long and 2 miles wide. As part of the Chain of Lakes you can boat from one lake. Approximately 65 miles of waterway to boat. You are also about 30 minutes drive to Traverse City, home of the Cherry Festival! And about 1 hour drive to other great and interesting areas such as Charlevoix, Leelanau Peninsula and Petoskey. Let s not forget also about spending a day at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes or Mackinac Island.
