Suunnittele ylellinen kesäloma vihreään rakennettuun (2009) mökkiimme Pilgrim Covessa, Payette-järven rauhallisella puolella. Nauti upeista järvinäkökohdista gourmetkeittiöstä, olohuoneesta tai yhdestä kolmesta järven rannalla sijaitsevasta kannelta. Tervehdit sitten rauhallisesti aamunkoittoa laiturin päässä tai paistatte tulipalossa suuren hiihtopäivän jälkeen, nautit rauhasta ja kauneudesta, jota vain Ponderosa State Park -alueen lähellä sijaitseva järvenrantahotelli tarjoaa.

Maistele järvinäköalalla hyvin varustetusta pääkerroksen keittiöstä, suuresta huoneesta, ruokasalista ja makuuhuoneesta (kuningatar). Pääkerrokseen pääsee pyörätuolilla, ja siihen sisältyy makuuhuone, jossa on esteettömät suihku ja turvakaiteet. Pääkerros avautuu suurelle Lakefront-kannelle, jolta on henkeäsalpaavat näkymät, viihtyisä ulkona ruokailu ja kaasugrilli.
Alakerrassa on perhehuone, jossa on leluja ja pelejä, TV BluRay: llä, 2 järven rannalla sijaitsevaa kuningatar makuuhuonetta, kylpyhuone ja pesulapalvelut. Pääset viereiseen ala-kuistiin ja järvelle tältä kävellen alemmalta tasolta.
Yläkerrassa on iso toinen pääsviitti järvelle päin, oma parveke, queen-vuode ja isossa kylpyhuoneessa, jossa kaksinkertainen suihku. Lisäksi on kerrossänky, jossa on kaksi parivuodetta ja oma kylpyhuone.

Talvella voit hiihtää maastohiihto- tai lumikenkiä maileilla hoidettuja reittejä, jotka on merkitty monenlaisille kokemustasoille Ponderosa State Park -puiston metsien kautta vain puoli mailia mökistä. Lataa alppisukset ja siirry ylös vuorelle Brundage Mountain Resortiin, joka on vain 20 minuutin päässä.
Keväällä ja syksyllä voit vaeltaa Ponderosa State Park -puistossa tai ympäröivien metsien runsasilla retkeilyreiteillä tai kalastaa laiturista tai yhdessä monista lähellä olevista pienemmistä järvistä, jokista ja puroista. Kolme golfkenttää tarjoavat läheisen virkistysmahdollisuuden. Jälkeenpäin voit rentoutua tulipalon pitkin, pelata bocciä tai siemailla kuumaa suklaata tai tehdä murskaa, kun pienet leikkivät hiekassa. Lovely cabin and beautiful setting

We were a group of five friends from several different states who gather annually to celebrate our friendship. The Poole's cabin in McCall was perfect for our group! There were plenty of bedrooms, super comfy beds, gorgeous views, and space to sit and visit, eat and cook together. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wished we'd had more time to spend there. Dan and Mary were wonderful hosts who made every effort to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend this beautiful home and look forward to coming again!

Wonderful memories.

Definitely will be back. Quiet and peaceful setting overlooking the beautiful lake. Home very well furnished. Extremely Clean and great value. Know this—you will not find better hosts than Don and Mary. During our stay they checked in with us to make sure all was well. Priceless.

Perfect lake cabin for quiet getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this large, quiet, well equipped cabin on the lake. Sunrise is amazing from the deck, close to town but feels a million miles away. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Lovely Lake Front Home

We are a group o 8 senior citizens who take a yearly short trip together. This was our first time in McCall and we all loved it. The home was a dream come true. We are all hoping to return next year! Great hosts and gorgeous home.

Beautiful Cabin on Lake Payette in McCall

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the Poole's cabin on the lake; perfect spot for a family as a lake get away. The cabin is not far from dining and other activities in McCall and the state park is very close. This is a quiet spot on the lake and the view is beautiful. The Poole's are fantastic hosts and you will find the cabin really has everything you need.

Best part of the lake

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this house. It is so nice and has everything that you could want with only being 12 minutes from downtown. The owners are super available and helpful.

Couldn't have been better!

We love this cabin!! For a group of four couples this cabin was absolutely perfect. The layout is great, the house was immaculately clean, kitchen stocked with all the utensils and dishware needed. The hosts are wonderful and take the extra steps needed to ensure your stay is great. We want to come back!

Dream Vacation

This was a family Christmas present that didn't disappoint. We had planned on spending most of our time at the Winter Festival, but we stayed at the house instead because we liked it better. There were the best games and outside equipment for our grandsons. The cozy and welcoming interior begged us not to leave, so we didn't. Even our grandsons were impressed with the walk-in and double headed showers. It was a wonderful weekend.

Quick family get away in McCall

The views and the property were everything you could ask for and Mary and Dan were outstanding hosts. The property is perfectly laid out for multiple couples or a couple families offering plenty of common area to socialize and privacy on every level of the home.

Spectacular setting and accommodations

Enjoyed a week at this property with adult siblings and their spouses. Great place to relax and rejuvenate or stay busy hiking and kayaking right from the property. Nice dining table to spread out family pictures and reminisce for hours. Close to town, just a few minutes to downtown restaurants and shopping. Clean, comfortable and everything needed for a wonderful experience, and the hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. Highly recommend!

Poole cabin

The Poole cabin was the best cabin we have ever stayed at in McCall & I have been renting cabins for over 40 years. The space & layout over the 3 floors gave everyone privacy, yet the shared living room, kitchen were welcoming & very comfortable & had one of the best stocked kitchens we have seen. The outside deck areas with all the furnishings & access to kayaks& paddle boards were very much appreciated. Our family which ranged in age from 20-87 all had very memorable vacation. Thank you . We look forward to renting again.

Ladies weekend

Our annual mother-daughter trip was great at this property! Enough bedrooms that no one had to share. :) We thoroughly enjoyed the deck, accommodations, and extremely well-stocked kitchen. We hope to be back soon!

Right on the lake

We rented this house because it has a private dock and community boat launch. There are lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. You can easily feed 10 people and have room to spread out. Owners were very helpful

Family Getaway

1st time at Winter Carnival

Not only is this home beautiful it is also the most well stocked home we have ever stayed in. The views of the Lake are gorgeous! It is only a few minutes from town making it so convenient. The owners are great to work with...awesome communication in making sure we were happy with the home and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for the perfect vacation spot!

Outstanding!

This property and its owners combined to make the stay an incredibly memorable one. Despite early in the season (and a faulty fuel pump on our boat) the weather was great and the home is beautifully situated on the lake with incredible views. The expansive home and many rooms made for a great base for our family to explore. Highly recommend this home! Lorin and Stephanie Hughes

Comfortable Lakeside Cabin with Outstanding View

We met some friends for a winter get away in McCall and chose the Poole Cabin. We were NOT disappointed, the layout is fantastic for multiple families and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the wood trim and nostalgia that went along with it (boards salvaged from original cabin). We hope to visit again soon!

Shanga La in the Snow

Our group consisted of four males, all retired from government law enforcement and all various levels of intermediate skiers. We unanimously found the lodging to be perfect from every perspective. We used four of the five bedrooms. All four had comfortable King size beds. We did not cook, but the kitchen was complete. There were enough good restaurants in McCall (a charming small town) to prevent us from even thinking about eating in. The house is lakefront and the view is indescribably beautiful. The property was loaded with books and games to amuse children of all ages (even in their fifties and sixties). We also enjoyed sitting in the family room at night and observing two different foxes dropping by to beg for a handout. We also observed a number of mule deer and elk in the neighborhood. The surrounding mountains and Brundage Ski Resort offer one of a kind vistas. Even though the resort is comparatively small, the entire mountain is accessible offering a wide range of incredible scenery. The owners, Dan and Mary Poole, are genuinely the real deal and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. This is a no brainer that offers a lifetime of good memories.

We were born and raised in northern Idaho and both graduated from the U of I. 35 years ago, our first Christmas away from home as newly weds, we rented a cabin in the cove and we have been coming back since then. We bought this land and a very rustic cabin in 1999 and decided to rebuild in 2009. The knotty pine paneling in the great room of the new cabin was lovingly reclaimed from the original 1940s cabin.

We love the cove because of its strong, welcoming community and 1950s neighborly values. Our children learned their love and respect for the lake and its fagile ecosystem and made life-long friends of all ages here. Both daughters celebrated their marriages here and both extracted spousal commitments for frequent returns. For our family this is paradise.

Our cabin is located on the east side of Payette Lake, in Pilgrim’s Cove. Anyone who has ever stayed on the east side of the lake knows that is offers the benefits of fewer boats and smoother water than the other side of the lake. In the winter it offers the opportunity to experience long hours of silence.
