Private entrance to the studio, as well as access to the patio and grassy area beyond. Please avoid the golf course during golf season. This is my home when I’m in Tahoe, so we may cross paths outside in the driveway or on the street.

The studio has a private entrance, offering a peaceful and secluded space for those seeking solitude. While my work takes me off-grid, I’m committed to staying responsive—Airbnb messaging is the best way to reach me, and I’ll reply as soon as possible.

The neighborhood is close to everything! 15 minutes to Northstar skiing, walking distance to Safeway for groceries, Lanzas Italian restaurant, Spindleshanks American Food and wine bar. Plus the Golf Course club house and the beach park.

Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) Buses stop conveniently near Safeway on highway 28, walking distance from the studio apartment

Important Notes for Your Stay

🏔 Winter Travel: Lake Tahoe, nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, experiences snowfall in the winter—sometimes a lot! If you`re visiting during the colder months, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is required for safe travel.

🚽 Plumbing Reminder: Please ONLY flush human waste and toilet paper—no other items. Do not pour food or grease down the sink. There are reminders in the studio, as repairs are costly.

🐶 Dog-Friendly Stay: Well-behaved dogs are welcome! However, please do not leave your dog alone in the studio—they can become anxious and may bark, howl, or cause damage. If your pup likes to relax on the furniture, please bring a cover to protect it.

🏡 Sound Awareness: The studio is located on the first floor of a three-story home. While the ceilings are soundproofed, you may occasionally hear activity from upstairs.
Responsive Communication is a house rule because communication is critical when traveling into the Sierras.

• Be Bear aware-Do not leave food in your car or trash outside.

• Coyotes live in the area; keep your dog close to you at all times.
• One well behaved quiet dog is allowed by pre approval
• Pet Fee is $25. No Cats or other pets
• Dogs can not be left alone in the Studio.
• Bring a cover for the furniture if you dog likes to sleep there.
• Quiet hours are strictly enforced by Placer County 9pm - 7 am
• No Loud TV, gaming or music.
• No outside music ever.
• No Humidifiers or Vaporizers allowed.
• No smoking of any kind inside the studio or on the premises
• Place bagged garbage in the bear box above the driveway not across the street.

*****Plumbing: The plumbing is on a automatic electronic pump system, and it does make a sound when it activates. The two sinks, the shower, and toilet drain into the pump. There is NO Garbage Disposal; Do NOT put anything down any of the drains but soap and water and human waste and the provided toilet paper.
There are also reminder signs inside the studio.
