Carnelian Woods Sanctuary

Tämä aivan North Lake Tahoen sydämessä sijaitseva Carnelian Bayn lomahuoneisto tarjoaa yhteisöllisiä mukavuuksia, kuten jaetun uima-altaan, porealtaan ja tenniskenttiä, sekä sisätiloja, joissa on viihtyisä puuhella ja ulkoterassi. Se on täydellinen Tahoe-retriitti jopa 10 vieraalle!

Vain muutaman korttelin päässä Tahoe-järven rannalta, voit viettää aikaa rannalla rentoutumiseen tai veneilyyn vedessä! Ja talvella olet vain 10 mailin päässä Northstar Resortista, jotta pääset jonkin verran alueen parhaimmista hiihtämistä.

Kolme viehättävää tasoa sisältävät korkeat, viistot katot, puuhella, mukavat huonekalut ja viihdemahdollisuudet, kuten kaapeli-TV ja DVD-soitin. Korjaa ateria täysikokoisessa keittiössä tai tee lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Vanhasta Post Office -kahvilasta rohkean aloituksen päivällesi.

Great place for big group.

Location is great, just 3 min drive to the beach. Recreational center (lodge) is really well kept with many fun games. Pool & tennis courts look beautiful; we just didn’t have time to enjoy it. The unit is spacious for big groups up to 8. 10 will be too crowded especially with only 2 bathrooms.

This is a wonderful weekend getaway only issues I have for the really loud heater and the really hard beds you might want to invest in some mattress toppers but overall it was a good time thank you

Great condo for a week trip!

Property was super clean.. Amazing layout with two bedrooms downstairs, one bedroom on the main floor and another bedroom on the third floor(actuallt an attic converted to a bedroom).. Loved it

Great location. Lacks polish

We stay here almost every summer because it is walking distance to the beach and it has a great pool and hot tub. Also it fits all ten of us at a good price. We have learned to live with its imperfections such as a poorly equipped kitchen, doors that squeak or jamb, window coverings that don’t fit, a drippy tub and a loose towel rack

Great location but doing (and needing) some renovations

It seemed liked they are doing some renovations that need to be done. The downstairs bathroom had a cracked lighting fixture, the upstairs shower door was very had to open, the dryer didn’t work, and the heater was very loud. However, the location was perfect, it keep us warm at night, and we had a great time.

Decent option for large groups

My family (4) traveled to Tahoe with my sister’s family (5) and needed a large enough house to accommodate us all during the holidays. Unfortunately we booked last minute and most places were either not available or way outside our price range. We found this place and it did the job. It was a good location and was easy enough to get to the mountains and also enjoy the area (food, grocery store, and shopping all close by). There’s also a clubhouse which has two hot tubs. The house itself was a little bit older. Beds were pretty hard, shower doors were hard to open and close, staircases are not as kid friendly if you have little ones, some of the carpets were stained and the countertop was peeling. It did what we needed to do which was house our large group, allow us to make a few meals at home, and enjoy Tahoe! I would also say the heater worked great, our group didn’t run out of hot water, there were plenty of dishes and we loved the use of laundry.

shows you can use the pool but he’s not allowed to go to the pool because they don’t give us the carts and we cannot use the tennis score to they give us the courts to almost 3 o’clock on Sunday it’s not fair

Easy location. Great layout.

check in was after 4pm on a Friday. No one around to get a parking pass or any sort of run down on how to access hot tub. No one around for the weekend so no after ski hot tub relaxation possible. If we would have known no host tub access we would have booked someplace else. The place is kind of beat up. The table and every chair wobbles like crazy. Seriously. Can almost get seasick trying to eat a meal as the table sways around with any bump of an elbow. One of the shower doors was incredibly hard to move, making it near impossible to not make a mess of water on floor getting in/out and you can tell there's been much water left on the floor with baseboards showing water ingress. Overall the layout was GREAT for our group of 8. The living space is very nice, comfort wise. Just don't expect too much in ways of beauty.

No advertised amenities

The condo had a huge crack in the wall. Hot tub, pool and Lodge have been closed for a month with no plans to reopen due to damage. We were not notified before arrival. When we complained he's $60 credit was offered to make up for missing amenities. Loft mattresses were saggy and Loft lighting was damaged. Layout was great and kitchen was well stocked. No wood was left for wood burning stove.

Spacious

Spacious for Ten people, recreation center, pool, and spa were nice. The place does get warm especially in the main family/dining Rooms, we brought some fans which helped, otherwise it was nice to spend vacation there.

We checked in and got settled, the couches on the main level needed to be thrown out, they are worn beyond belief. When we tried to watch tv we found that they didn’t have cable so the tv advertised in the amenities is false advertising . They should just remove the TVs and sell them to buy new couches. There were dirty pots and pans in the kitchen. I am very disappointed and feel we paid premium money for a substandard rental.

The only minus was that the hot water will run out after about 4 people showers. We have to wait an hour for the hot water to come back. And also there was no laundry detergent provided, towels are also limited. No extras in the closet. Other than that we enjoyed staying there.

Overall good, few issues

Overall, it worked and we enjoyed ourselves. The location was great. The cons: the common room space left plenty to be desired with 2 sunken/uncomfortable couches on opposite sides of the room. Not an inviting or comfortable space. The bedrooms were nice and spacious but the beds were pretty hard and not too comfortable (unless you like a really firm mattress maybe, which I somewhat do, but these were too firm). The dryer didn’t work and had damp towels left in it. The paper towels and toilet paper were really thin.

3 nights stayed at the condo

We had great time stay at this condo, there are 4 rooms and a small kitchen. Location is great , walking 13 minutes to the lake. The only thing needs to be improve is cleaning. The floor is dirty and blankets need to be replaced. Everything else are perfect. There are lots of parking space but when we arrived Friday night there was no service from club house to give us parking pass so we just parked there without pass during our 3 night stay.
