The lobby is very nice, with friendly, helpful people. It looked new and very clean. We were told we could check in early, but that info was not relayed to the front desk. The man there was able to get us into another room, so it worked out ok. The room was terrible. There were footprints on the floor where someone had mopped, then walked through it. It smelled musty. Even after running the AC for a while, the smell was still there. I have never spent the night in a room that just felt dirty. The light fixture in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling, and the paint was peeling off the ceiling over the shower. We did not use the shower. There was a long dark hair on the comforter, so we couldn’t use it. We wound up sleeping in our clothes, expecting to be joined by bugs at any moment. Overnight there were loud people walking around the property, doors slamming, and car alarms going off. I didn’t sleep much, and kept looking outside to make sure my vehicle was still there. We were so tired, it was difficult to enjoy our trip to Sea World the next day.Needless to say, we will not be staying at the Irlo again.
