Citrus-talo on nimetty monista tuoksuvista sitruspuistaan, joiden kukkivat tulvat maa-alueelta makeilla tuoksuillaan upeiden kevÀÀn kuukausien aikana. Talossa on maaginen ihme, jonka tÀytyy vain pelata uskoakseen. Kun sittemmin 20th Century Foxin perustaja Darryl Zanuck omisti, Citrus House on rauhallinen ja mukava keidas vain muutaman askeleen pÀÀssÀ upeista keskustan ostosmahdollisuuksista ja herkullisista ravintoloista. Varoituksen sana kuitenkin ... se voi olla vaikea ominaisuus lÀhteÀ :)

Mukavasti viehÀttÀvÀssÀ pÀÀrakennuksessa on kaksi suurta makuuhuoneen sviittiÀ. Lyhyen kÀytÀvÀn lÀpi kauniisti sisustetusta keittiöstÀ, viihtyisÀ kerrossÀnky (nukkuu 4) sisÀltÀÀ kylpyhuoneen ja oman HD-television. Citrus-talo tarjoaa myös 3 vieraskasettia, jokaisella on oma sisÀÀnkÀynti - ja jokaisessa on kylpyhuone, HD-televisio ja tyylikkÀÀsti sisustetut kalusteet. Kolme kasettia ovat osa erillistÀ rakennetta, jossa on myös nÀköalatasanne, josta voi nauttia Mt: n majesteettisesta kauneudesta. San Jacinto ja ympÀröivÀt huiput.

Citrus-talo sisÀltÀÀ gourmet-huippuluokan keittiön, joka on ihanteellinen viihdyttÀmiseen ja sopii erinomaisesti suuriin tapaamisiin. Suuri uima-allas ja oma poreallas ympÀröivÀt mukavat suunnittelija ulkokalusteet. Suuri, peitetty, mittatilaustyönÀ valmistettu puinen ruokapöytÀ tarjoaa ihanteelliset puitteet ulkona syömiseen. Mom's 90th Birthday Celebration

The Citrus House was the perfect house for my Mom's 90 Birthday celebration. The house is stunning and the grounds are beyond stunning. It's in a great location, so there is a little road noise, but you can barely notice while enjoying the oasis of the front yard and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, and bocce ball court. The beds are very comfortable and the house has everything you could think of. The property manager, Silvia, was amazing, I'd give her 6 stars. if possible. She was very helpful, responsive and did everything to make our stay the best possible. Would definitely stay here again.

My crowd of family and friends loved the Citrus house. The grounds were beautiful and the house wam and comfortable. And it s location could not have been better.It was perfect for our Thanksgiving gathering We would highly recommend it to all.Thank you to the owners and the manager for a wonderful time.

Reunion

This is a beautiful and charming property in the old and historic part of PS. The environs are like a secluded spa with beautiful flowers, trees, pool, sitting and lounging areas outside. The bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen and dining areas inside and out are perfect. The only downside is the house is on a very busy corner. Traffic noise is loud. It didn’t spoil it for us.

We absolutely loved the Citrus House for our group of 6 women. A bedroom and private bathroom for each of us, spacious well-equipped kitchen, and gorgeous grounds! Excellent location walking since to all downtown attractions, and very responsive hosts.

Quick Trip

We took a quick trip to Palm Springs for 4 nights in February. Weather wasn't great but sun came out so that we could enjoy the pool. Three of the bedrooms/baths are in a separate building which worked great for our group and people who wanted more privacy.

Annual Girls Trip

Amazing property - as others have said, the pictures do not do it justice! From the fruit trees to the casitas and multiple outdoor sitting areas we didn’t want to leave. Very walkable to restaurants and used the many bikes to tour neighborhoods. Absolutely loved our stay!

Unique slice of paradise

Agree with other reviewers. Pictures don’t do this property justice. It’s a really unique, one of a kind property. The outdoor space is lush and resort like with lots of comfortable seating thoughtfully placed with lighting and activities. Perfect for many uses - families, bachelorette parties, couples, retreats. House is centrally located within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The inside is comfortably furnished and feels warm and welcoming with lots of charm and unique design features. The only thing to note is if you are staying during the high summer temps the house is old and not very energy efficient. The AC units in the casitas could use updating. Main house bedrooms didn’t get very cold except for the bunk room which had a modern split. The property ran warmer than expected but the outdoor space is so amazing, it 100% makes up for it. I would definitely stay again during a cooler month. Highly Recommend!

Extended Weekend

The Citrus House was fabulous, perfect for an extended weekend for our family of 6. Conveniently located to some of the best shops and restaurants in the desert. We enjoyed the beautiful tiled pool and comfortable lounge chairs, bocce ball, we biked, played tennis nearby, hiked to waterfalls, enjoyed outdoor meals in the garden and all watched MBA playoffs in the comfortable living room. The house was clean and comfortable, and so well equipped. The fresh citrus everyday was a real treat. We can’t wait to return.

Incredible yard!

Pictures online can’t accurately depict the beauty of the outdoor area of this home. It is stunning and we enjoyed as much time outdoors as possible. Despite temps in the 100’s, there are many covered areas that stayed cool and the pool is lovely. Hot tub wonderful as well. Property owner was incredibly responsive to questions or needs while we were there. The home is lovely as well-each bedroom has everything the guest would need and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. Our group of 6 friends could not have been happier. Proximity to downtown is a few minutes but still a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful park within a quarter mile that we all enjoyed as well.

Golf Getaway

Great spot for up to 6 adults. Clean, many outside areas to gather. Fire pit, hot tub, pool, bocci court and patio dining. Kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary supplies. Right of main street downtown Palm Springs. Many restaurants and bars nearby.

Perfect Oasis

This was the perfect spot for our group of 9 women on our annual girls weekend trip (new city every year). The property was as described (no surprises). The location was excellent! Close and convenient to everything. The pool and jacuzzi were inviting. More than enough space to hang out and have fun but also have some private time if need be. I would highly recommend!!

Annual Trip to the Citrus House!

We love staying at this beautiful property. It is a gorgeous home with well appointed rooms and a full stocked kitchen. It really is like staying at your own private resort; beautiful grounds, citrus trees, the large private pool, hot tub, bikes, bocce ball court, fire pit, outdoor pizza oven. Plenty of room to spread out and close to downtown. Owners and house manager are great with communication. Booking soon for next year. Thanks again for an amazing stay.

Unforgettable & stunning!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend to relax and restore ourselves. Everything on the property was stunning and thoughtful. It is the perfect place to stay in Palm Springs where you can have privacy, relax, cook in and have a truly memorable time. The home itself has aged very well and has incredible character, the kitchen is well stocked, and every corner of the yard is beautiful. The beds were all very comfortable and we stayed cool despite 100+ temps that weekend. The one single downside was that Gardeners came very early on Friday morning, which we weren’t notified of. It startled us, but we got over it :) the check in process was so easy and everyone involved was easy to communicate with. It would be a dream to stay here again, I had the best time. Don’t think twice!

Nice house but issues

Very nice property with three casitas. It's located on a Main Street so you get a lot of street noise while outside in the pool. House was not very clean upon arrival and had issues with the air conditioning all weekend not cooling the house down. Making it very difficult to cook meals inside since it would be unbearable. Was charged extra fees from management for cleaning out a fire pit and " extra cleaning fees" when the house it self wasn't clean ie (bugs and dust in rooms)on arrival and no instructions to not use a Fire pit to burn wood at night. Don't think it was worth the money for sure

Obsessed

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a long weekend and did not want to leave this gorgeous house. The photos do not do this property justice. The pool was perfect, the kitchen was perfect, and it felt like a dream staying here. We are already talking about another trip to Palm Springs. Highly highly recommend booking this perfect property.

A little spot of paradise

This was a fabulous home to vacation at. The grounds are beautiful, hummingbirds/butterflies flitting around and fresh citrus from fruit trees! The pool, hot tub, lawn bowling and many chaise loungers were all utilized. A quick walk to shops/restaurants and close drive to the tram and hiking trails. The noise from the street did not bother us- actually made it less stressful to be quiet outside with PS noise rules. Took a day trip to Simi Valley to Reagan Pres. Library- a trip well worth the drive. Would highly recommend this home to others. Very easy check-in with excellent communication.

75th birthday celebration

Eight former college roommates gathered at Citrus House for three days to celebrate our 75th birthdays and 57 years of friendship. Everyone agreed it was an amazing experience. The house and grounds are beautifully maintained and the location is excellent. The hosts are lovely and accommodating, and did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. You will love your stay here.

Once again we truly enjoyed our stay at the Citrus House in Palm Springs. This is a beautiful property with a lot of space, comfortable rooms, and great amenities. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures convey. The location is ideal, close walking distance to many restaurants and shops. It's the perfect vacation spot to gather a group of friends or family. We are already planning another repeat visit for 2023. The owner and manager are awesome to work with, great communication. Thanks again for sharing this spectacular home with us!

A birthday weekend we’ll never forget

The Citrus House is more beautiful than the pictures can portray. The fruit trees welcomed us to a clean, wonderfully appointed house and grounds. There’s enough space for several people to gather comfortably, or have some privacy also. The house is beautifully furnished & decorated, but felt warm and casual. Everything is well-maintained, and any concerns with the property are addressed promptly. The house was so wonderful, we decided to cook dinner for all 12 of us one night, rather than go out to a restaurant. We spent the evening by the fire pit & in the hot tub after cooking a huge meal. The location of Citrus House is prime for walking to shops & restaurants. Some road noise is notable, but not disturbing. I didn’t want to leave, & we would happily return to the Citrus House again.
