Tyylikkäästi sisustettu ja kyydissä kalliopuoli, josta on rehevä näkymä laaksoon, tämä 1 899 neliömetrin koti Princevillessa Kauaiin pohjoisrannalla on helmi ja tarjoaa parhaan mahdollisen maailman. Koristeelliset kovapuulattiat, lattiasta kattoon ulottuvat ikkunat ja viljelty sisustus koko tämän jaetun tason kodissa lupaavat viihtyisän ympäristön rentoutua ja nauttia tästä trooppisesta paratiisista.
Makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode, vaatehuone ja iso kylpyhuone kylpyhuoneella. Päällikön vieressä sijaitseva densi tarjoaa vuodesohvaa ylimääräisiin makuumajoihin. Kaksi vierashuonetta jakaa aula-kylpyhuoneen, ja niissä on queen- ja kerrossängyt (parivuode ja kaksi erillistä). Muita sisustusominaisuuksia ovat juhlalle sopiva gourmet-keittiö, jossa muodollinen ruokailutila, johon mahtuu jopa 8 henkilöä, ja tilava olohuone, jossa on seinälle asennettu taulutelevisio. Ulkopintaan kuuluu lanai, jossa on kansia uusia kvartsiitti laattoja ja kiesit, jotka tarjoavat valtameren tuulet, jotka kääntyvät kohti laaksoa, sekä ammattimaisesti maisemoitu piha ja runsaasti saaren maisemia. Käytettävissäsi on kaksi aivan uutta puhallettavaa SUP: tä, jotka sopivat täydellisesti risteilyyn Hanalei-lahdella ja joella. Lisäksi on olemassa kolme pyörää ja useita snorklausvarusteita, jotka ovat ihanteellisia nopeaan 5 minuutin ajomatkaan snorkkeliin Hideaways Beachillä.

Back to visit with the Ohana

We have local family and friends on the North and East side. Great location to stage various adventures from with far less hustle and bustle than the South side. The house is gorgeous and they have an amazing view from behind the house. Highly recommend the place

A beautiful, romantic house in Princeville

This property is beautiful, well-maintained, and comfortable. You can tell that the owner cares about the home and that it has a real soul. While you could clearly sleep a few kids and another couple in the guest rooms, the main bedroom is clearly the star of the show and we felt like we had the perfect amount of space (for a luxury getaway). Princeville is clean and nice enough, but staying here you should expect to hop in the car and drive for food, the beaches, activities, etc. All in all, we felt it was a great value and a really special stay. Recommend to a friend.

Oasis in Princeville

Privacy is this properties greatest asset, hot tub and multiple patios overlooking you own jungle and stream. We enjoyed it as a couple but can entertain much more. The beach toys and bikes were an added bonus to get your crew going to the beach without renting. All that Princeville and the north coast has to offer were easily accessed or stay and do nothing!

First time to Kauai

This was my family’s first time to Kauai and we couldn’t have picked a better rental property to stay at during our visit. The house was beautiful both inside and out. Plenty of space, extremely clean and only 10 minute drive into Hanalei town. We will definitely be back. Aloha!

Beautiful, relaxing place.

It’s just like in the pictures! So private, with luxury. We had a respite girls week and it was perfect! Great kitchen. Views are amazing….sunrise every morning from bed or the outdoor living space. The master bed and bath are set up to be in the nature of the back yard oasis. It’s an amazing place and did not disappoint!!

Beautiful home, perfect locatation

My wife and I rented this home for a couple of weeks to share with our guests visiting from the mainland. The home was absolutely perfect, we could not have asked for better! The view from the back of the house was wonderful, the house itself was extremely comfortable and had a very warm, inviting feel about it. The management staff were wonderful, and very accommodating. The location was also perfect, Queens Bath was within easy walking distance. We also took the short drive up to Hanalei Town to paddle board and kayak. We would not hesitate to rent it again!

Lovely getaway

Well-appointed, beautifully designed home. The property is lovely and crazy private for Princeville. Comfy mattresses, gorgeous vista, great cross-breezes with nicely screened sliders and windows. Hosts are generous with amenities and supplies. Only complaint—glassware is in need of a restock. Two wine glasses, some plasticware, and a few glass tumblers. Even with just two of us we were rewashing a lot (and it’s a vacation!}. Small stuff—hope to be back. Mahalo.

Family Vacation

We had a great family vacation over Christmas and New Years at this home. The home itself is very attractive and the backyard is a beautiful jungle with a natural stream. The house had a lot of space and was comfortable for our family of six. But..we were a little freaked out by the very large cane spiders (think hairless tarantula). We found 10 in the house during our stay! We ended up sleeping with our lights on, and that seemed to help a little. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.

Wow....what place!!

This house is in a great location. You are in a neighborhood but tucked away so that it feels very private. There are windows everywhere that let you enjoy the amazing plant-life around you and let the refreshing breeze flow through. No need for air-conditioning! The kitchen and grill came in handy on nights that we didn't feel like food from a restaurant. The owner has available for renters: beach towels, beach chairs, swim fins in multiple sizes, snorkels and masks (for kids), bikes and even surf and SUP boards. We really appreciated the towels and beach chairs, and the easy access to the outdoor shower after our beach days. The outdoor seating area was great, we spent most of our time there. The hot tub was fun for a quick soak after the sun went down. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my family to spend a week in paradise!

Disappointing

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in need of some attention. Door nobs falling off. No security and locks broken. The house has potential. Realtors were showing the house when I was staying there which I had stopped. Disappointing experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family with small children visited the Princeville area for work and play and stayed in this wonderful house. It is wonderfully furnished (actually mostly Pottery Barn) with comfortable beds, a wonderful kitchen and room for all of us (5) to spread out. The trail behind the house is quite steep and not for little legs (or mine for that matter). We did have a problem with ants and the management promptly arranged for it to be sprayed and the problem resolved. There is no air conditioning so it can get a bit warm but it is a good problem to have when we are stuck in blizzard after blizzard here in New England. A wonderful place, great location (easy walk to the St. Regis and Queen's bath that was about 2 blocks away). I would recommend it heartily.

Very private location, large spacious home

We hadn't been back to our island for awhile due to serious illness, but it was amazing to be back. We always rented the same home in Hanalei, but it was booked. So for the first time in 33 years we stayed in Princeville. The house was extremely private and for the most part, well appointed and comfortable. The gorgeous views from just about every window were of the lush ravine filled with verdent trees, ferns and abundant flora, and rang out with birdsong. The human neighbors were very quiet, however, the unavoidable roosters cawing at all hours along with the sound of idling diesel engine emited from giant cane toads are simply part of north shore life - bring earplugs.) The home was nicely decorated and fairly well equipped, however the sofa felt a bit old and grungy, and the throw pillows were scratchy. When we discovered the home's supplied beach chairs and umbrellas were all broken and unusable, Eric from Hawaii Life responded immediately with lovely brand new ones. He was helpful and kind.

Even more gorgeous than the pictures!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I enjoyed my 4 night stay in May 2016 at this lovely home so much that I've decided to return for two weeks in January 2017! The home is unique in the way it is situated on a hillside, which provides gorgeous views of the trees and surrounding nature while allowing complete privacy. The master bedroom and master bath have windows on three sides bringing in an abundance of natural light and sounds of nature. The house was cleaned immaculately, the furnishings are lovely and the kitchen is well-equipped. Although the home has three bedrooms, I found it quite suitable for my solo vacation (using only the master bedroom) and the rate was still far less than I would have paid for a 500 square foot hotel room at the nearby St. Regis. This home is one of the best values I've seen! The location can't be beat, with the trailhead to Queen's Bath just two blocks away, the St. Regis (nice beach, spa and restaurants) less than one mile away and the town of Hanalei just a few miles away. The staff at Hawaii Life could not have been more helpful! They arranged for an outstanding massage therapist to come to the home for a treatment and responded immediately when I inquired about removing a large cane spider from the bathroom. (The house does NOT appear to have a critter problem; it's simply the reality of life in the tropics and occasionally, critters find their way in!) The only negatives I experienced were (1) a slight musty smell in the carpeted areas of the house (the two smaller bedrooms and the study are the only rooms with carpet); (2) difficulty with opening and closing some of the blinds due to broken crank handles; and (3) difficulty in accessing the key in the lockbox due to its location. The home was recently sold and these issues will likely be addressed by the new owner. Overall, I was VERY satisfied with my stay and can't wait to return!

Hideaway for everything

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband got this house for us for our twenty year anniversary to surprise me and boy was I surprised. The home was immaculate and very pretty inside and out. The view off the back yard area was gorgeous. You are literally looking at a jungle area. There was a path that led down the cliff-like side to wander a little bit. It is a beautiful home.... with a bug problem. We only stayed there for three days and I saw more than SEVERAL big cockroaches and Kane spiders, which were the size of the palm of your hand! They are fast and they jump! Most of the roaches were in the master bedroom. One was under the pillow. There was also a small ant colony living on the bathroom counter in the family bathroom. I was going to stay in the spare room, but there was earwig type bugs on the wall/ceiling. Needless to say, I slept in our rental car the first night. We had no where else to go and my husband said he paid a lot of money and could not get a refund at that point. Idk how long it was empty before we got there. I do know that there were roach traps in the master bathroom, so they are aware of the bug issue. I do realize that there will be bugs near all that flora, but not in the house. Overall, that was the only problem. It was beautiful, but I could not relax. There was lots of stuff in the garage to use for outdoor play. The house was fully equipped and spacious, if you are not afraid of cohabiting w bugs then you will be ecstatic. I will say we had stayed at a different house for the ten days prior and I did not see single bug of any kind.

Beautiful Setting

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed here with my husband’s parents and brother. There were 5 adults total. The house was very spacious for the 5 of us. The grounds of the house are inviting and beautiful. It is in a peaceful setting and the back patio is relaxing. We enjoyed being close to Anini Beach and the shops in Princeville and close to Hanalei. The house is nice, but a little dated. It was clean upon arrival with great instructions for check-in. There are 5 beach chairs in the garage, which were great to have access to. There are also lots of beach toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach towels, and beach umbrellas. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We didn’t notice until after our first night that there was no soap, or body wash, or shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. Usually, a host will provide even sample size bottles of these things and/or a bar of soap. I don’t know if this was just overlooked by housekeeping or if this host just doesn’t provide those items. We had to go buy bar soap. A couple of drawbacks to this house are: 1) There is no air conditioning. There is a wall unit to cool the master bedroom, but the rest of the house was very warm. Those sleeping in the other bedrooms didn’t get much relief at night from the warm, humid air. Our visit was during an atypical warm spell, though. 2) I do realize that Hawaii has a climate for bugs and critters. So, I’m not sure what to expect as reasonable when renting a house, as we’ve always stayed in hotels during previous vacations to Kauai. But, there are little lizards in this house, cockroaches, and I saw a centipede. Not a ton of critters but enough to make me hesitate to rent a house in the future when visiting Kauai and stick to hotels, where critter control seems more robust. Perhaps, I’m just too much of a princess.
