Äskettäin uusittu kylpyhuone kylpyammeella / suihkulla. Pieni terassi pois makuuhuoneesta, jossa pöytä ja tuolit. Such a cute little beach house! Very clean and has everything you need. The three minute walk to the beach is amazing. Groceries store, food and shops within walking distance makes this property perfect especially when you don’t have a car. We would definitely stay here again!

The beach house had a lot of charm. There were three adults staying there. It is walking distance from the beach so I walked there every day. There is a good sized fridge and a stove but not a microwave. There are dishes and some utensils. The bathroom was stocked with Sunscreen, lotion, and hair care products, and a blow dryer. One of the things that added to the charm was a fountain outside the front door which had a calming sound. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, and there was a little patio just outside the bedroom door where we enjoyed eating breakfast. The one drawback is that there is no reserved parking and it is hard to find a space to park on weekends but somehow we always managed to find a spot for our small car.

Great location and hosts!

Easy walk to the beach, grocery store and restaurants, very quiet neighbourhood. Beds were comfortable, adequately stocked kitchen. Nice patio in front and back for sun and privacy. We were there in February and the mornings and evenings were cool, but the heater and sunshine helped. A great accommodation!

Close to Newport Beach

We really enjoyed our cozy Newport Beach stay. Great for 2 ppl or a couple and a child. Close to beach, bikes handy and cheap right at apt, close to Disneyland and many amenities. Felt safe. WiFi was only 2G so beware if need for work-related trip or other. Great place.

Perfect

Super easy to find, killer location, beautiful space with lots of kitchen supplies, beach towels & chairs, etc. Comfy beds, great shower. There were 3 of us and that was perfect. Parking is ridiculously iffy- I knew that going in. We had a car, since we flew in to Burbank, but mostly ubered wherever we needed or walked or rode bikes. Lots to do. We bumped into the host family a few times- they are lovely souls.

Home away from home

We stayed for a week on vacation, 2.5 of us. Cottage is cute, we loved the look and sound of fountain. Owners(and Sam)were welcoming and friendly. House fit our basic needs to store food, cook breakfasts, pack our ice chest for the day then relax in evening for a good sleep. It is beach parking, deal with it.

An absolute little gem.

This rental is an absolutely perfect little hideaway right in the heart of Newport Beach. It's small but cozy, and very clean. If you're home during the day you can open the doors and enjoy the ocean breeze or sit out back in the little sitting area. It's ideal for one or two, maybe 4 if you have kids or are all really good friends. The location is ideal. It's maybe 200 yards to the beach, 1 mile to Newport pier with all of the associated bars and restaurants and 2.5 miles to the Balboa Fun Zone (both of which can be walked to via the pedestrian walkway at the top of the sand). The owners are really easy to communicate with and very helpful. You actually feel lime they care about your stay. So don't hesitate if you're considering this place. I personally can't wait to go back next year.

Cute place

Place is small and good for a couple or family with one child. The only thing we found over time was parking issues. The area is full almost all the time and if we decided to go anywhere, we would end up parking blocks and blocks away. One time walking about 0.6 miles from where we found parking. The wifi did not work well most of the time either, but I have data on my phone, so that was fine. But my son was frustrated when his ipad wouldn't connect most of the time. area was quiet and neighbors were nice. Overall, good for our needs during our stay.

Disappointed

The house itself is fairly accurately described, and was decent for a short stay, where not much time was spent in the home. However, it is stated in the description that the entrance is private. The host fails to mention that the entrance and patio is shared, thus, people you do not know will be entering/exiting using the same front gate. This would be important to note, as it was a bit alarming to see strangers on the patio and using the gate that was said to be a “private entrance.” As people have previously mentioned, the sliding glass door to the back patio is still broken. It is difficult to slide open and shut, and does not have a lock, requiring you to use a wooden stick to “lock” it. The icing on the cake is that I was charged $5.00 for a keychain that broke due to being old and worn. The loop itself was old, yellow, and dirty. When I explained this to her, I did not receive a response, but one week later my account was charged. She noted that this was not reported to her, but when I text the number listed in a binder, I received a response that it was the wrong number. It all felt quite petty, and I don’t feel the host handled it in the best way. Would not stay here again.

Perfect stay

This is the perfect place for a single or a couple that want to be close to beach enjoy all the restaurants/cafes and bars. The unit is safe and comfortable and the hosts are very friendly. This is our third time staying and feel fortunate that this place is available in the area.

Cozy cottage with everything you need

We were so pleased with our stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. We could walk to the ocean two blocks away and then take the ocean boardwalk to Newport Beach for coffee or breakfast.

Perfect spot!

My daughter and I attended a wedding in Newport Beach. This was a perfect place for 2 people. We could walk or Uber everywhere. The place was clean, comfortable & easy to access.

At our "Boathouse" you are truly right in the heart of Newport Beach and the southern California lifestyle. You can walk to the beach, dinner, bars, the pier , Lido Village and the theatre. There are numerous world class restaurants on the water. Or you can bike down the boardwalk to the fun zone and take the ferry over to Balboa Island.
We are a short drive to world class shopping with both the Fashion Island and the South Coast Plaza right up the hill. If you want to take a quick break from the sand then head over to Corona Del Mar a small eclectic community in Newport Beach. Head to Catalina Island for the day via the Catalina express located on the Newport Harbor.
Newport Beach is centrally located in Orange County. Our home is a quick 10 minute drive from John Wayne Airport. Newport is nestled between Huntington Beach to the north and Laguna Beach to our south. We are a short 20 min drive to Disneyland and about an hour or so to the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles.
