The Founder, Xaviera of Castle Stays, is from Seattle Washington who 20 years ago moved to North Carolina marrying, Durhams' Highschool MVP Derrick who has deep community roots. Xaviera fell in love with the Sothern charm of Durham and her husband Derrick all at the same time, and has had the opportunity watch its transformation as Durham continues to build and preserve its historic monuments such as the Hayti District, (aka Black Wall Street) and the American Tabacco Historic District where Ice skating is available (located Downtown).
