Birdcage on ainutlaatuinen keltainen kahdeksankulmainen rantatalo, joka sijaitsee suoraan rannalla ja lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä vedestä. Viehättävässä kodissa on suora näköala lahdelle olohuoneesta ja kietoa kuisti. Talo on 2 makuuhuoneen 2 kylpy, joka nukkuu 10. Makuuhuoneessa on parisänky, toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi queen-vuodetta (kaikki kolme ovat toukokuussa 2014 ostettuja asentoon tarkoitettuja patjoja) ja olohuoneessa on 2 vuodesohvaa.

Uusi ruokasali maatilapöytä, tuolit, taidetta ja baarijakkarat lisättiin kesällä 2014.

Vähintään 5 yötä kesäkaudella.

* PERUUTUSPOLITIIKKA: 89 dollarin käsittelymaksua ei koskaan palauteta. Peruutus, oleskelu- tai omaisuuspäivien muutokset 90 päivän sisällä saapumisesta johtaa talletuksen menettämiseen. Peruutus, oleskelu- tai omaisuuspäivien muutokset 60 päivän kuluessa saapumisesta aiheuttavat varauksen kokonaisen menettämisen.

Pysy ja pelaa
Tämä vuokra sisältyy 'Stay and Play -pakettiin.' Joka ilta saat:
- yksi ilmainen golfkierros yhdelle aikuiselle päivässä;
- yhden ilmaisen syvänmeren kalastuspääsy juhlaveneellä yhdelle aikuiselle päivässä;
- yhden aikuisen hinta delfiiniristeilyllä päivässä (kausiluonteinen);
- yksi ilmainen videovuokraus käyntiä kohti;
- yhden aikuisen pääsy paikallisiin vesipuistoihin päivässä (kausiluonteinen);

Unique older house with unbeatable location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first vacation to Gulf shores and we were so pleasantly surprised at how nice the beach is. We picked the Birdcage location because of the location and they allowed our dogs to stay. The house is older and could use some work on the outside, especially on the porch. The inside is so charming and unique! The house was very clean upon arrival. You can not beat the location of this house! The beach is just a few steps from the house and this part of the beach is not crowded. Everyday we had at least 100 feet (if not more) between us and the neighbors beach canopies. We can not wait to return to the Birdcage for another relaxing beach weekend!

Charming seaside cottage with flaws

Hear me out! Read entirely because I am starting with the cons! The salt air has definitely taken its toll on this home. Repairs are needed inside and out. Sugar ants take over the kitchen so keep food locked up tight. However, all of this adds to the charm of this home. It’s like a seaside cottage out of a children’s story book. Every room is colorful, the location is fantastic and it only took 3 minutes to walk to the water. A bonus was being able to include the family dog instead of boarding. If you can overlook some rotted boards, I highly recommend! Our stay was therapeutic in so many ways!

Friends Spring Break

It’s a great location. We had trouble trying to watch TV couldn’t find any instructions anywhere, they would have been helpful. The house needs some TLC especially the deck and some rotted siding. But overall we had a good visit.

I had booked another property thru VRBO at Dauphin Island, Alabama and we were within an hour of arriving there, I received a call and was told there was an issue with the plumbing and there would be no water for 2 days. In a panic I started searching for house rentals in Gulf Shores that would accommodate 2 dogs along with 3 adults and 1 child and we needed it starting that night and the next 7 nights. I called the Gulf Shores Rental company and spoke with William and told him my situation and he said he did have availability at the house that was called “Birdcage.” He took all my information over the phone and within 30 minutes we were on our way to our new destination. We arrived to find a wonderful place that was right on the beach and had everything we needed to make it a memorable vacation. To William and the Gulf Shores Rentals team, thank you all for everything.

Second stay at The Birdcage

Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at the birdcage and I have another review on it from back in 2022, so I won't repeat that review, but we loved it. Yes, the property is older and there are some things that could use some attention, but for the cost and where it's located, it's hard to beat. That stretch of West Beach Blvd is really peaceful and you have a ton of the beach to yourself just a few steps away.

Needs major work, but nice location

Overall location was great. No issues finding, no crowds on beach. My main concern is with safety. A variety of things should be repaired including the front hand rail which is completely disconnected from the porch railings and the large holes in the walls of the house on the back porch. We also had an ant issues from day one, which the remediation for that was to drop off a can of ant spray. I realize the house is pet friendly, but it just felt unclean and the couch was covered in dog hair. Overall, house isn’t worth the nightly rate, but the location is.

I will say the house itself is in much need of some TLC but that was no surprise from other reviews. Gulf shores and orange beach are our favorite places to visit and the food there is never disappointing ! Late Oct and early November is the most relaxing and there are no crowds.

The house was not in good shape and needs a lot of things repaired. There were ants on the counter the day of check in and we could not keep anything on the counter all week. I would not recommend this property until the property owner really takes care of the problems.

It takes about 10-15 minutes to get back "into town" from this house, so if you like to be close to stores and restaurants, this may not be the best house for you. The beach is usually nice and quiet, with minimal other people nearby. The house itself is rough around the edges, but overall a comfortable place to stay.
