Kauniisti moderni Lakefront omaisuutta ihana palveluihin. Järvinäköala. Ylempi taso on kaksi makuuhuonetta ja alemman tason on kolme makuuhuonetta. Suuri suuri huone ylätasanteella kaksi takkaa ja kaapeli-tv. Yksi den kaapelitelevisio alemmalla tasolla. Suuri keittiö uusia laitteita. Ruokasali, että unohdetaan Lake Michigan. 4. 5 kylpyhuonetta. Nukkuu 12. Suuri takapihalla BBQ grilli. Kilometrin päässä St. Joseph. Suuri ravintoloita. Täydellinen koti kahdelle perheelle jakaa.

Beautiful home! Accommodated 11 people comfortably. Laura was great to work with !

We had a great time during our stay in this beautiful home! Beach is eroding in this area, but beaches were close and great! Laura is wonderful to work with!!

Beautiful location!

The house is in the perfect location, nestled in the dunes with stairs to a private beach. The sunsets over Lake Michigan are spectacular. The yard is spacious with 2 different patio lounging spaces plus a fire pit and chairs (lake view from fire pit but not patios). No screened in porch, so depending on the mosquito situation, bring bug spray. The house is very comfortable and there are lake views from the formal dining room and living room. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking in the large, private driveway. We loved the lake view and the private beach. The only thing missing were beach towels, chairs and beach toys for kids and adults.

Good and Bad

Making the reservation through VRBO was easy. Made final payment via VRBO, no problems. Less then week before arrival got a last minute email from owner stating that the attached rental agreement had to be signed prior to accessing the property. The sole reason for renting this property was that the listing stated and showed pictures of beach access to Lake Michigan. In bold letters in the rental agreement stated that beach access may or may NOT be available for our stay. Another line in the agreement stated that if for some reason the owner had double booked the listing they reserved the right to move us to another listing of their choosing. If we did not like the different location we were free to try, at 4 pm, to find something else for 11 people. I informed the owner that I paid a premium for a property with beach access and the rental agreement was unacceptable. Owner informed me they were having problems with VRBO listing and that beach access had been repaired and that the listing was not double booked. However I still did not receive check-in instruction. I received another modified rental agreement but by now my party was traveling and I did not have access to complete the rental agreement and still did not have check-in instructions. Owner finally provided check-in instructions without a signed rental agreement. All of this interaction made for a very stress time leading up to our stay, not know weather or not we had a place to stay. Once we gained access the property was very nice, very clean with plenty of room for my entire family. The only complaint for the actual property was the lack of WIFI which was stated in the listing as being available.

Beautiful spot with some concerns

Beautiful property, as advertised. Little tough to find. Neither map links provided on VRBO for both Google and Apple are are correct. Tried to call owner for directions. Call went to her voicemail and never heard from her. Use Ways for correct directions. Also, she provided a rental agreement that stated we needed to launder all the sheets and towels before we checked out, but that wasn't stated in the VRBO agreement. Finally, house next door is undergoing major renovation. A bit of an eye sore and noisy with workmen. All in all, beautiful property. Would rent again. Use Ways to find it and you will be on your own.

Great view!

THe house was clean, beautiful, and big enough for my extended family to visit. The view was great. Unfortunately, there was no access to the beach from the home due to erosion. The owner was very upfront about this fact prior to renting. Nearby, the beach boardwalk was eroded away with no easy access.

Lovely home, great lakefront location

We (6 adults, 2 children) stayed at this property while visiting family that live in St Joseph over the Christmas holiday. There was plenty of room to accommodate us. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans/dishes/utensils so we stocked the refrigerator and prepared all of our meals there, which was nice. There is no wifi, but we didn't find this a negative. We ended up spending more time talking, playing board games, etc. Laura, the owner, was quick to respond to the couple of questions that we had during our stay. The only real inconvenience was being required to wash our sheets and towels before our departure, particularly before an early morning flight. Overall, this is a great property, and we would definitely consider it again in the future.

Beautiful house!

The house was wonderful. The 5 bedrooms gave us plenty of room for our whole family. The kitchen was completely stocked with dishes except for not having a mixer. The bathrooms were updated and had plenty of towels. The beach at the bottom of the dunes was beautiful and the view from the house was spectacular. The only negative was having sheets and towels for 15 people washed before we left by 11:00 am.
