Tranquil oasis right on the Deschutes River! VERY comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, easy access to the town of Bend and its amenities, and only 30 miles from the picturesque town of Sisters!

Amazing place! We had such a great time! First time in Bend and this was a great location and very comfortable place to stay. We were travelling with our two adult children. Plenty of space with great living spaces inside and out. Hope we get a chance to come back some day!

5th of July retreat

Beautiful home, with everything we needed for our vacation and more. Saw tons of birds and even two deer who walked across the property. Weather was great even a little sprinkle in the morning on the Fourth.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay at the Riverside home! The setup was just right for us and the location is terrific - right on the Deschutes. The home is super comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The setting is so lovely that we ended up having many meals in rather than go to downtown Bend. Communications with Debbie were always very prompt and thorough - thank you! We look forward to coming back!

So perfectly close to the river!

We loved the one story home so close to the river. It has everything you need! The beds were very comfortable.Small critique on the bunk room, I ended up using the top bunk to lay out my clothes so that worked out.The happy dog trail provided much entertainment across the river. We spotted Otter, Mallards, Geese, Deer, Eagle, Fish jumping.We loved the place! Thank you so much!

River Retreat

This Deschutes River property is a quiet, beautiful river retreat. Close to Bend and easy access to many nature adventures in the area. The property owners were easy to work with and the house is well stocked with everything one would need while staying here. This property would be great for any time of year with all that this area has to offered recreation wise.

Bend Oregon Trip

We had an absolutely fabulous weekend at this home! It is probably the cleanest property we have stayed at so far and the location is wonderful with literally a river at the front yard! My husband is the "cook" and he loved the kitchen. This kitchen is 100% stocked with simply everything you can imagine. The bed was super comfy too and home layout is perfect. 100% we will be back for a much longer stay!

A wonderful retreat.

We picked this house b/c of the pictures showing it right by the river and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect for us as we loved how peaceful, beautiful and woodsy it was while still only being about a 15-20 min drive from stores and restaurants in the main part of Bend. Lots of wildlife to enjoy such as deer wandering around, all sorts of birds and hawks, we even saw a group of river otters swimming upstream. My husband and son enjoyed fishing right from the back yard river bank. The river runs fairly fast here so although you can take a dunk near the side it's not a tubing part of the river which actually is better as it gave more privacy and sereneness to our stay and tubing was only a short drive away down river. The house itself was very well equipped and spacious. I especially liked how much counter space there was to put all our groceries and how well equipped the kitchen was w/ all our needs for cooking meals. The beds were comfortable and I loved that the sheets and linens were washed w/ perfume free detergent. The instructions for the house were very complete and easy to understand. Debbie was responsive w/ any questions we had before we arrived and during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home! Many rules

Beautiful home!!! We spent hours every day in the backyard watching the river and the dogs on the trail across the way. Everything inside was clean and nice. I found the rules overbearing. A lot of things that felt more for a family friend asking for favors instead of a home I was paying money for. Things like watering the plants, replacing and buying coffee for future guests, etc.

Amazing location, beautiful, relaxing and close to everything

We loved ourt stay. Relaxing and enjoyable. It had everything we were looking for...quiet views of the river for extended slow mornings with our coffee and books. 15 minute drive to downtown bend. 20 minute drive to Sunriver Village. Ammenities were just what we needed... kitchen is well supplied. Roku players with access to netflix, amazon prime and hulu. The place was clean and comfortable. Only surprises were the swiftness of the river at this spot...it fairly shallow with lots of rocks, so not ideal for swimming or boating. And the other was accessing the house the first time with the driveway situation. Its off the beaten path (which is awesome) but it was difficult to discern which private dirt/gravel driveway we were supposed to take out of 3 options. We arrived in the dark which made it more confusing. Makes a lot more sense in the daylight. But both of these are minor issues for us and easy to adapt to. Debbie is a fantastic host. Quick to respond and easy to communicate. Looking forward to coming again.

Crawdad Comfort

Our Family had a great time at this hidden gem. The house is very livable and comfortable. Our 2 boys loved catching crawdads and fishing in the river. The wildlife was abundant. We look forward to our next visit.

Perfectly lovely

Perfectly lovely place to stay on the Deschuttes River. Peaceful, comfortable, close enough to town, nicely stocked kitchen and baths, comfortable beds. All good. My favorite thing was morning coffee outside and watching the dogs (and their people) parade on the trail across the river every day. Others in our group loved plunging in the river daily (Brrr).

Much needed time with Daughter, her husband and 2 yr. old

The layout of the house was great for us. We gave the Master KING sz bedrm to our daughter and her 6'4" hubby. That way we were across the hall from our grandson in a pack n play. Debbie was great with communications. We had no issues. The house has more kitchen pans, pots, dishes, appliances than we could possibly need. LOTS of spices oils, etc. The view is the BEST from BOTH main bedrooms and the living area including kitchen!! AWESOME trip/vacation. Thank you Debbie and Sister!!

The Best White Christmas Ever

My husband and I and our 2 adult children and son's girlfriend spent 5 nights at this beautiful space. Surrounded by majestic trees on the banks, literally, of the Deschutes River, this little cabin nestled in all of it, was perfect for a family Christmas. So peaceful, tranquil views from the bedroom, living and kitchen area with the snow. We also saw deer in the back of the house one morning up on a bank. Everything was very comfortable. Close enough to Bend for shopping, etc., but far enough away to feel "away".

Peaceful getaway

Great house and great property. I would love to visit again when it's a bit warmer to enjoy more activities on the river. We still managed to pull a few crawfish out of the river and saw a plethora of Deer around the area.

Quiet in the Woods by the River

Beautiful, clean, private family retreat minutes from everything Bend has to offer. Riverfront location on the Deschutes can't be beat. Great communication with the host. Would stay again anytime.

There are not many properties in Central Oregon that enable you to feel completely away from it all along the beautiful Deschutes River, while only a ten minute car ride from movie theaters, fine restaurants skiing, golfing, outdoor recreation and shopping!
