Muistojen tekeminen ja perheesi nauttiminen rannalla!

Meidän vuokra-asunto on täysin remontoitu kaikkiin uusiin sovelluksiin, täysin vammaisille. Master-sviitissä on kaunis king-size-vuode, oma kylpyhuone ja taulu-tv. Kaksi muuta makuuhuonetta on queen size-vuoteet jokaisessa huoneessa sekä taulutelevisiot joka huoneessa. Kaksi makuuhuonetta pääsevät täysin haitta-kylpyhuoneeseen. Olohuoneessa on 40 "taulu-tv. Keittiössä on aamiaishuone toisessa päässä ja ruokailutila, jossa ruokapöytä pystyy istumaan jopa kahdeksalle toiselle päähän. Koti on hyvin tilava ja avoin ja jotta sinusta tuntuu aivan kuten olet rannalla kaikki sisustettu rannalla teema. Sinulla on mahdollisuus istua esiportaan ja nauttia keinutuolit ja kuunnella valtameren ja katsoa rakkaat kulkevat kentän läpi samaan aikaan. Meillä on runsaasti kauniita palmuja, joista voit nauttia myös. Meillä on oma uima-allas aivan takapihalla voit nauttia. Halusi päivittää joitakin arvosteluja vettä kosteista vettä koskevista hyvistä uutisista, ja hyviä uutisia meillä on nyt lääninvesi kotona ja ei enää hajuakaan vettä!

The property is well maintained, quiet and rural. We had a wonderful time in the peace and quiet and relaxing in the pool. All 3 of us loved watching the horses, donkeys, turkeys and deer. It’s so quiet, you’d never think you’re only 5 minutes from the beach! We definitely want to make this a yearly destination!

Wonderful home. Nice and quiet away from the crowds, but just a mile from the beach. We saw deer, turkeys in the field out drom along with the horses and donkeys in the pastures. A winderful relaxing vacation and the property owner was great. Definitely planning to stay again in the future.

We love it here!

We have now stayed at 2 of Ms. Beth’s properties. One of which has now been sold and the other is this property that we’ve been coming to for a few years. The home is always clean and the location is perfect. The location provides wonderful wild life such as turkeys, deers, and tree frogs as well as horses and donkeys on her farm nearby. It’s a short distance from the many ice cream shops, the beach, and the park for those who have kiddos! We highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful beach trip

This is our favorite place to stay, close enough to the beach and grocery store but yet still away from the public and a quiet peaceful place to stay.

Excellent Family Vacation

This has become our favorite place to stay when we come back to Carolina. Its so peaceful and secluded but just a short drive to the beach! Near all the stores and restaurants you need. The pool is perfect for the kids to cool down in.

Great stay.

This was our second trip here. This one was better since they added WIFI. The pool was clean on arrival, and cleaned twice during the week. Owner stopped by to check if everything was ok. Overall a nice stay.

we have been staying here over the last several years, and have enjoyed it year after year. The property is well kept and the owner is on site if there are any issues, which there never are. Great place to stay, quiet and out of the way, but, very close to everything you might need. We will continue to stay here for years to come.

Perfect location in the country but minutes from the beach!

We loved our stay here. I grew up in this neighborhood and wanted to bring my kids back home for a vacation. The location was perfect with beautiful views of woods, fields, and pastures. Pool was an absolute hit for the whole family, we couldn't keep the kids out even on a colder day! Of course being so close to the beach and all the shops was perfect as well. We will definitely be returning!

A little bit of it all

It was our first time to the area and 100% plan to return. The home is far enough away but also close to everything, if there is "country" at the beach, this is it! We enjoyed watching the farm horses graze, saw a wild turkey and a deer on an evening ride along the coast line, 5 minutes from the house! The pool was wonderful after a day on the beach. The home and property were amazing, plenty of room and the open floor plan made us feel like we were always together, even in different rooms doing different things!

The Beach version of home

The inside was cozy and homey with a beachy twist. It wasn’t overly decorated to the point that it was tacky, but definitely had an east coast beach vibe. The outside was manicured well with pops of color and plants. We were mostly secluded from neighbors which helped us fully relax when being outside. The pool was always a comfortable temperature. It was never too cold or warm and was a great size for a little swim. The location was perfect with everything we needed, including the beach, a VERY short drive away. We would for sure come back to this house if we ever wanted another beach getaway.

There were no clean sheets and towels in the washer. I made sure everything was washed up for next person. But overall would stay there again. Just would like key code sent at 4pm. Did notget in house until an hr after we arrived

Hurricane Florence had devastated North Carolina we had to delay our trip because of road closures and flooding. Gary and Beth (the owners) was very kind and worked with us to change our arrival date. The house is great. Quiet and peaceful. The pool and added bonus. We loved being minutes from the beach. The door lock was a little tricky but I'm sure they have figured this out and fixed the problem.

Best possible Vacation during 2020

Our family including the dogs enjoyed all that the Holden Palms had to offer. The house is an oasis that provides all the comforts of home and then some. Waking each morning to the sun and horses was a delight to experience. Meeting Beth while we were there was an added benefit, she really cares about you and your stay and will do what she can to make it the best possible experience. And the there was the onsite pool, we spent as much time as possible at the pool and enjoyed only having to walk out the back door to jump into that water. Thanks to Beth and her family for providing such an experience and look forward to keeping in touch with her and Gary!

A very enjoyable stay!!!

There were 5 of us, plus our Black Lab. Ample space inside and out. The proximity to the beach, stores, gas stations, etc. is an easy drive, and the serenity of the property located on a farm was peaceful. Enjoyed afternoon and evening breezes rocking on the porch, and the pool on the back yard was also a great asset to our get away. Glitches are unavoidable but the owners were there to take care of the issues without any hesitation. A picnic table, and a couple of umbrellas around the pool area would be helpful. Also the back door leading to the pool should be replace. Overall we were very satisfied, and will go back sometime next summer. Highly recommend this vacation home.

Sweet Little Gem

This was an amazing find! We loved the house! Some of the utensils could be updated but it did not detract from our overall experience. We also noticed the towel bar in the guest bathroom is a little loose - so be careful. There has been a small little gazebo built by the pool which provided some nice shade! Our pup loved being able to spend vacation with us. The pool guy stopped by 2 times while we were there to clean the pool. He stayed out of our way and we stayed out of his. Overall we loved how secluded we felt with having plenty of amenities nearby to supplement our needs. Make sure to sign the guest book!

Summer 2023

We have stayed here several times over the years, and have enjoyed it. Of course you can tell the wear and tear of multiple people staying year after year, its not as new as fresh at when we started going, but, still very enjoyable. I do think that with the amount that I was charged for cleaning service, I would have expected much better cleaning to have been done. The vents were dirty and ceiling fans haven't been dusted in a while. And we did find dirty silverware in one of the dresser drawers. It would also be nice for the evenings if you could change the channel on the TV's and watch something other than Nickelodeon. All in all this is a great place to enjoy the beach and not have to deal with the crowds and noise at more crowded areas. we will always be looking to go back year after year.

My husband and I decided to put our new rental home on VRBO because we have had very good experiences with renting through VRBO ourselves. We currently have another home we rent through VRBO in the mountains of North Carolina, but we do not manage that rental because we live here at Holden Beach. A rental agency handles that for us because of convenience. We live right here on the farm also. Our home sets back from the rental home behind the horse pasture. We love it here, I grew up here at Holden Beach and my husband grew up in Gastonia NC. He moved to Holden Beach about 13 years ago when we got married. Since then we have built our beautiful home here on the farm along with my family. We have horses along with my sons chickens and our family dog Boot's. I must say we do have the best of two worlds. It is peaceful back here on the farm with no traffic and not all the vacationers, but you can go just a minute away and be at the beach enjoying the beautiful ocean and all that comes with it.

Our farm is a family owned farm it has been in my family since the early 1900's. We have approximately 72 acres all together. My Mother and Father purchased this property from my father's heirs and me and my siblings have grown up here for the past 60 years. If you choose to come and stay with us at 'Holden Palms' you will definitely see why we have kept our farm as our little secret here at Holden Beach!
