Yksi makuuhuone w / parvi perheen mökki sijaitsee 16 metsää hehtaarin NW Brown County. Suuri perheelle ja viikonloppumatkoille!

Erittäin eristäytynyt, rauhallinen - kaunis kaikkina vuodenaikoina. Iso esiporta ja omaisuus on täynnä villieläimiä.

Olen omistanut tämän hytin 18 vuotta ja käytän sitä säännöllisesti lasteni ja ystävieni kanssa. Ja näin - perhehytti. Mitä saat, on toinen koti, joka on perustettu kotimainen mukavuus. Ei ole internetiä. Käytän iPhonea. Kaapelia ei ole. Lankapuhelinta ei ole. Tämä on suunniteltu. Olen irrotanut lanka vuotta sitten ja hälytys on solu. Olen odottanut, että kaapeli / laajakaista tulee näkyviin ja emme ole vieläkään vielä kartalla. Mutta iphone toimii hyvin siellä ja käytän sitä hotspotina, jos työskentelen kannettavan tietokoneen kanssa. Tai vaihtoehto B - sammuta.

Just what we needed!

The cabin was exactly what we needed to unwind and relax! Beautiful property, clean home, all the amenities we could ever need and we got a surprise snow fall to top the perfect weekend off! Our host very easy to reach and communicated everything very clearly prior to our trip. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful trip. We loved it and our dog Izzy did too! All the cabin feels

Enjoyed staying at this wonderful, dog-friendly cabin and property. From the covered porch, to the board games, the kitchen supplies, to the music, to the comfy bed, and wonderful property, we had a great relaxing stay. It felt like getting away to the family cabin...not manicured, just an authentic getaway.

Great place to stay.

Cabin was very nice and very well stocked with everything that we needed. I would recommend this cabin. Google got us to the property but not to the driveway. We had to go about 1/10 of a mile up the road and turn on an unmarked road to find the driveway. There should be some instructions regarding this.

Truly exceptional

Absolutely breathtaking! The perfect balance of rustic charm with modern conveniences. The property is just spectacular. From the moment my wife and I entered we were hooked. The sweet and oaky smell of the wood burning stove still lingering, the gorgeous exposed wooden beams, the view through the sliding glass doors framed the spectacular barn at the back of the property, and the peak of color in the trees. It was truly a jaw dropping experience for us. As a matter of fact, our plan was to go out to dinner our first night, but instead we just wanted to stay there and soaked up the ambience and listened to a fantastic collection of 33 LP's. Then when the stars came out; wow, just wow! We sat out under the stars every night with a glass of wine and listened to music. The time went far too fast and we were not ready to go home. Our host Curt was truly exceptional when it came to communication, directions, and making sure that our stay was spectacular. Curt, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to share your little piece of heaven on earth.

Great, well stocked cabin

Being avid cooks, music lovers and game players, this cabin was right up our alley with the best stocked kitchen we have ever had at a rental, great indoor and outdoor speakers with a jack for our phones and lots of board games and playing cards. Beds were comfortable, the window a/c units kept the cabin very comfortable and we stayed when it got into the 80's during the day, and the setting was bucolic and peaceful. The only item that prevented a 5 star rating was the cleanliness of the cabin. The glasses and silverware NEEDED to be cleaned before use and the carpets and rugs need some serious attention. Overall, though, this is a solid property that we would readily recommend to friends.

50th anniversary

Trip was wonderful. Very peaceful. Beautiful grounds. I am an OCD cleaner so the level of cleanliness was not like in my home. I had to realize it was a cabin in the woods not my home and leave my prejudices behind. The cabin has something that grows on you and just makes you relax. Loved the woods and trails. Went to Nashville and Morgantown, Our standard poodle loved it. Would defiantly stay again. I was surprised by the amount of stock left in cabin. Spices and supplies. I left some Kcups and paper plates myself. It seems to be almost a tradition. Easy trip to Nashville and easy to find. Host was great and let us check in early. God willing we will be back.

Getaway to the woods

We sought a cabin out in the woods where we could bring the dogs, be close to multiple hiking spots and do some major relaxing. We found it all at this cabin. Close to Brown County State Park, Yellowwood SP and Morgan-Monroe SP and we hit the small town of Nashville for shopping and Big Woods pizza. Many of our meals were made at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved walking around the property, checking out the tadpoles in the pond, letting the dogs run at full-speed through the field and making a campfire. A major highlight for us was the record collection! We hardly turned on the TV because we kept on finding another solid album we just had to listen to. Bonus? He has speakers on the front porch & back deck so we were constantly listening to music. Can't wait to get back someday soon.

Great Escape!

We were looking for a place that was secluded, unique, rustic, but also comfortable and we found the perfect place. We enjoyed the cabin. It was open, roomy and had everything we could need. Hardwood floors, beautiful rugs, some antique furniture, and nice art work + a wood burning stove/fireplace. There was only 2 of us, my husband and I, with our 2 Aussies, but this would be a great place for a family or group. The dogs loved running and exploring the property and so did we. We spent a lot of time outside. There is a huge back deck with a table/chairs and several grills, which we used to grill steak and chicken one evening. There are speakers on the front and back porch so you can listen to music while you relax with a glass of wine or more. Also a large front porch with a propane heater that came in handy when the evening was cool....bring your own propane tank, but well worth it to be comfortable outside on a cool evening. Also built a fire in the fire pit one evening and roasted marshmallows for s'mores. Downtown Nashville, which has lots of shops/ restaurants, is about 15 minutes away. We did not meet the owner in person, but found him very accommodating, easy going, with a good sense of humor. It was obvious that the owner put a lot of thought into making the cabin and property, a place that not only he and his family can enjoy but also his guests.

Perfect holiday getaway

We were looking for a place away from the busy city after Thanksgiving. We wanted to totally relax and get away from it all. Our dogs enjoyed walking the property. Everything was perfect. Cannot wait to plan our next trip there!!

Great cabin and property

Our 3rd visit this year. Everything you need for a long weekend stay. Our dogs love it, lots of room outside for them to roam around and explore. Owner is awesome, very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful stay in Brown County

We spent 3 nights at Curt’s cabin. The directions were perfect and the location secluded (just what we wanted). Curt’s cabin is rustic with all the amenities you’d need. Beds were comfortable too. The property was awesome and we saw deer and wild turkey. We will be back!!

Perfect getaway cabin

Perfectly secluded and gorgeous porch. The whole cabin was spacious and included everything we needed, from games to cooking utensils. We would return in a heartbeat!

Cozy and warm

The property was as secluded as we had hoped. Plenty of nature to walk the dogs through and the coziest cabin to enjoy with a cup of tea, a fire in the wood stove, great music, and even a puzzle from the game shelf. We hated to leave.

I purchased this modern-built (c. 1998) cabin in 2000 and added a large deck, barn and did lots of grading to create a terraced hillside and a large, open back meadow. My kids and I have been continuous visitors through the years. I began renting our cabin in 2015 and hope that you might enjoy it the way we have and do. I live in Indianapolis, raise two boys and own an art gallery specializing in historic Indiana artwork.

A wonderful, quiet retreat well off the beaten path. When I drive down from Indy, I open the car door and step out of my vehicle to... total quietude. If you're looking for an escape from your hectic, weekly routine this might be the answer.

With sixteen aces and much rolling terrain, strolling the property is a sweet diversion. My favorite pastime is listening to or playing music on the large and comfy front porch. I recently added new porch furniture and have remote operated fans. If it's warm enough, I spend a lot of time on the porch! In the winter, nothing beats a fire in the wood stove!
