Musta Butte Ranch: Hedge Nettle Cabin

Tämä upea Black Butte Ranch loma-asunto tarjoaa maalaismaista charmia, jossa on ulkoterassi, lomakeskuksen mukavuudet, puulämmitteinen takka ja tilaa kuudelle. Hedge Nettle Cabin on täydellinen piilopaikka ulkona oleville perheille ja lomaileville pariskunnille. Deschutesin kansallinen metsä ja Cascade-alue muodostavat oman takapihallesi. Kävele viehättävä kalastusreikä Phalarope-järvellä tai tee 20 minuutin matka hiihtoon Hoodoo Resortissa.

Tämä mökki sisältää ympärivuotiset mukavuudet Black Butte Ranchissa, joka tarjoaa kaksi golfkenttää, päällystettyjä polkuja, kuntosaleja, urheilukenttiä ja rentouttavia uima-altaita, porealtaita ja spa-tiloja! Sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä lomakeskus kerää 6 dollarin päivittäisen maksun jokaisesta yli kahdeksan vuoden ik��isestä vieraasta, jotta pääset vapaa-ajan palveluihin.

Hedge Nettle Cabin yhdistää maalaismaisen sisustuksen ja luonnon kauneuden nykyaikaisiin laitteisiin. Kerää puulämmitteisen talon ympärille sisäänrakennettu istuinalusta tai rentoutua lepotuolissa upean kirjan kanssa. Perheesi ei koskaan tartu hytin kuumeeseen taulu-kaapelitelevision, WiFi: n, CD-soittimen ja stereon ansiosta.

Olohuoneen vieressä on ruokapöytä kuudelle ja aamiaisbaari, johon mahtuu neljä. Olipa tarjolla nopeaa ruokaa liikkeellä tai intiimi perheen juhla, täysin varustettu keittiö tarjoaa runsaasti tilaa ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistettuja laitteita nälkäisten vatsaiden tyydyttämiseksi! Keittiön ulkopuolella on iloinen aurinkohuone, jossa on paju istuimet ja bistro-pöytä, joka sopii ihanteellisesti aikaisin aamukahviin. Yläkerrassa mökki tarjoaa ainutlaatuisen toimiston, jossa on karhu-nahka.

Tämä kaksikerroksinen pako on kolme makuuhuonetta, yksi parvi ja kaksi täyttä kylpyammeet, jotka tarjoavat runsaasti tilaa kuudelle asiakkaalle. Great home for small group!

This home was great for our group. Tucked back in our favorite part of Black Butte, it was quiet, cozy, and comfortable. We loved the dining area for games and meals and had plenty of space.

House in need of upgrades

This house was in a good, quiet location and the sunroom was a great place to spend time. However, the house is in serious need of upgrades. The pots and pans have pealing Teflon, the knives are cheap and dull, the lighting was poor for reading. Cupboards had crumbs in them. The garage door doesn't open so bikes, etc had to be brought in through the side door which on a rainy day meant going through the dirt.

Vacasa listed this on VRBO, not VRBO fault

Not a VRBO problem, but Vacasa rented us a home where the WiFi didn't work and despite calls to Vacasa, they were unable to fix the problem. couldn't get the access code until the day of arrival which was inconvenient. Communication with VRBO was great, but they couldn't do anything about a Vacasa listing other than give us a Vacasa phone number to call.

This house was extremely disappointing. It was not clean. It was dark, and depressing. The brightest lightbulb was 25 watts. Seriously. How can you really list this home? We have so many complaints about this rental.

A wonderful, well-appointed home; perfect for our multi-generation group. Ten minute bike ride to Glaze Meadow pool. Our small children were a bit upset by the animal trophy mounts. We enjoyed the glassed in room with lots of toys

The house was in a great location! It came well equipped. We may have been the first of the season, but the house needed a deep clean. There was lots of dust and cobwebs. The kitchen cupboards needed a deep clean. If the house was deep cleaned, my ratings would be higher for the price.

Nice home, but needs work and pest management

The home was a great size for a family gathering with a great layout - but we had some issues when staying there. We noticed holes were being chewed through our food packages on the counter in the kitchen and we were finding mice droppings. We reached out to Vacasa and they sent someone out to set traps, but they tried to claim this was just something that happened on the ranch. We own a home in Black Butte Ranch and do not have an active mice problem, so that's not necessarily true. The traps caught mice - even one right on the counter, which was not a pleasant thing to deal with. Even so, there were more mice so there were constant droppings which required us to wash everything constantly. The toaster only worked on one side, they didn't provide any kitchen towels or dryer sheets. The cabinets in the kitchen were completely full so there was no where to store pantry items (and as mentioned, if you left them out, the mice would get to them!) We feel this home needs better pest management and better quality control overall.

Family trip

We love Central Oregon, and we use it for a short 2-3 day getaway a handful of times a year. This home was cozy, and we loved the sunroom. The experience was not great, so we gave it a 2-star rating. The pictures of the taxidermied animals on the wall were nowhere near the actual size. Our son was freaked out for the entire weekend, which didn't allow us to use the house's full potential. When we arrived, we spent 2-3 hours trying to get transferred to another available home. Unfortunately, the manager at Black Butte Ranch denied the transfer, even though there were homes open and we would have paid the difference. Come to find out; our request was dismissed because the manager didn't have a housekeeper to make sure the home was clean (at 2:30 pm on a Friday). It felt very insensitive, and if I were the manager, I would have gone to the house myself to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. That is what you do; you make it happen. Secondly, although our expected check-out time was 10 am, the housecleaners or owners arrived at 9 am and parked in front of the house to wait for us to pack up and leave. It was very awkward; we felt like we were being watched and rushed to get out. We ended up leaving the house at 9:36 am. A couple of other things: All the bikes had flat tires Both showers had bad water pressure and didn't drain well. Rooms were riddled with cobwebs. Generally, I don't like to complain, and as a family, we are good at making the best out of any situation, but this was my wife's 40th Birthday weekend, and we paid close to $300 per night for this house.

Cozy & clean

Came for a weekend reunion with friends. The house was very cozy. A couple things to note are that the dishwasher sticks shut and is extremely hard to open, the knives are all dull, the pans are non-stick and many are peeling. So, in general, the kitchen is dated and could use a little love. Would have appreciated some extra towels as well, but we made do with all these minor inconveniences. Wifi worked great. Another thing to note is that we weren’t sure how the weather would be and there is no air conditioning so I asked management whether there were fans in the house and they said “no,” but there are a TON of fans in the house. Just think people should know that! Overall we loved our stay, getting in and out was easy, the house was cute and the size was perfect for us.

Cozy cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay here!! The decor was amazing and right up our alley with the awesome taxidermy (we’re avid hunters!), amazing pictures on the walls, and just an overall cozy place to stay. There were four of us here and we could have easily had another 2 guests with plenty of room in the common spaces and bedrooms. We were kicking ourselves for not booking one more night! The only complaint we could possibly say is there was no split firewood. We checked in the garage, under the bench in the wood holder and outside. My husband didn’t t mind splitting since there were plenty of log rounds and we tried to leave some extra for the next guests, but if i would have came here with a group of girls that would have been less than ideal. Overall- amazing and we will definitely be back :)

Cozy cabin

We truly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and charming home and look forward to coming back. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We spent lots of time cozied up in front of the wood stove, but our favorite activity was going for a ride on the tandem bicycle. Thank you for sharing this lovely cabin!!

Comfortable Stay at Nana and Papas

I don’t know if this is actually Nana and Papa’s house but it sure felt like it. It was warm and comfortable and very clean. There was plenty of space and the sun room was great for reading and playing board games. We would stay here again. It was about as far as you can get from the visitor center so it was nice and quiet. There was no end of fascination for my boys around the animal heads and skins all over the house. This would be a 5 star rating if it weren’t for a few things. If one of these things had happened separately I would have over looked it but as they started adding up we felt like they needed to be mentioned. - During COVID times we planned this vacation as a way to get away and have little/no contact with people. Unfortunately, you are required to check in in a very busy lobby counter that is not sanitized between customers and the staff was not helpful! We got lost and had to return to the visitor center for a map that was not offered when checking in. - Hidden Fees: At check in I was told we would be required to pay a daily use fee for everyone in my party over the age of 7. The use fee was for the use of facilities at Black Butte Ranch (spa, pool, retail facilities, etc). Well, most of the facilities were closed and we had no intention of going in to any common spaces (besides the lobby I was standing in at that moment). I was told I was paying for the privilege of using the walking trails within Black Butte Ranch. - The upstairs toilet would not flush and we had to have the lid off the tank the whole time we were there and reconnect the chain after every flush. This was not reported at the time of our visit because, again, we didn’t want contact with any people while we were there. From other reviews I see this is an issue that has been going on since at least 2017. - The fridge door was weird and wouldn’t close properly. - While I appreciate a very well stocked kitchen (dishes) it would have been nice to have at least ONE empty cupboard to put food in. We had to keep our food on the counter which was annoying. - Upstairs shower didn’t drain properly. I was in ankle deep water after my shower. - The coffee pot wasn’t cleaned and someone else’s dirty coffee grounds were still in the pot when I went to use it on the first morning. - Check out time was unclear. The book at the house said 11 a.m. but the text message I received from Vacasa on the morning of check out said 10 a.m.

House needs renovation, esp. baths and kitchen. Upstairs toilet needed maintenance twice, lights out, mildew smell from washer so strong could not use main floor bedroom, WFI and TV connection difficulties. Called in problems. Upstairs rooms good. Needs a deep cleaning
