Yksikkö 219 on länteen päin oleva toinen kerros, jossa on korkea katto ja parvi. Lanai on melkein veden yli, ja tarjoaa vertaansa vailla olevat näkymät upeisiin auringonlaskuihin ja sateenkaareihin, samoin kuin kaikki lahti ja valtameren aktiviteetit. Aalto ystävillesi, kun ne snorklaavat Covessa! Tämä yksikkö on melko yksityinen ja hiljainen, kun taas nurmikkoa, uima-allasta, grillipaikkoja ja itselahtia ovat edelleen melko helposti saatavilla.



Honokeana-lahti on Napillissa, Länsi-Mauissa, vain 8 kilometriä pohjoiseen historiallisesta Lahaina -kaupungista. Aidatulla alueella sijaitseva kiinteistö ympäröi eristäytynyttä lahtia, josta on henkeäsalpaavat näkymät läheiselle Molokai-saarelle ja ylellinen trooppinen maisemointi.

Rauhallinen lahti tarjoaa joitain parhaimmista snorklausmahdollisuuksista Mauilla, ja siellä on runsaasti korallimuodostelmia, trooppisia kaloja ja vihreitä merikilpikonnia. Vain muutaman askeleen päässä asuntohuoneistostasi sijaitseva kuohuviini lämmitetty uima-allas lisää tämän trooppisen paratiisin unenomaista tunnelmaa.

However, last time we were there, almost two years ago, the place needed a serious remodel. Fast forward to today and you will find wallpaper peeling off the walls in the old bathrooms, uncomfortable beds (The king in the master is so soft that it is hard to get comfortable), and the furniture is old and worn. I hope that the homeowner will update this unit. If you don’t mind roughing it a bit, the views of the cove are awesome.

An Amazing Stay!

The unit is on the 2nd floor directly oceanfront with a spectacular view of the cove and ocean. We saw lots and lots of sea turtles and even a couple of them that beached on the rocks right in front of our balcony! We even spotted a whale in the distance and saw one of them breach!!! The unit had all the amenities one could want and then some. Even though the unit doesn't have AC, we never felt uncomfortable. Others who stayed at this unit noted it is outdated, etc. That didn't bother us. If you come to Maui expecting fancy decor then stay at a ritzy hotel! We will definitely be back and hope to stay at this unit again!

The heat and humidity in Hawaii was at a record high...but after settling in we found ways to deal with the heat. This unit had many fans which helped since the units here do not have AC! The loft area never got my daughter didn't want to sleep up there (wish there were more windows up there to help circulate the air..fans weren't enough). But that was the only downside and one that we could live with...Why??? Location, location!!!! Unit 219 is facing the cove and not the pool! From this unit you can see the turtles pop up all day long. We loved our location. The unit had everything we needed and was great for our small family. Being right on the cove, there is easy access to the water. We swam with the turtles every day- mostly in the evening to cool off. This was an amazing place that we hope to return to one day!!! Don't let the no AC turn you off.

Many nights we chose to barbecue or eat in &watch the beautiful sunsets on our balcony. The room has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen. I love the fact the grounds are beautiful & all neighbors were very courteous. No late night loud partying. The snorkeling is the best. I’ve never seen so many big turtles both in the water and out. We can’t wait to return.

The only thing that would make this a 10/10 would be an a/c unit. However, the weather and humidity were not unbearable and the afternoon winds cooled off the unit nicely. Out of 7 nights we only had 2 that were uncomfortable. The staff was amazing as well. The snorkeling!! The best and I felt so safe having my kids swim out in the cove. This is a place that I already miss! Thank you for such a wonderful visit!

If you like to have an exceptional view and easy access into ideal snorkeling this is a great location. Very well maintained and managed. The kitchen has everything you will need for your and the deck is fantastic. Easy access to parking and secure property walking distance to other beaches and restaurants. Amazing rainbows as well!

Fortunately, Su and Betty helped greatly with these lacks.I do suggest the following in order to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the cove: 1) Movie Night should be eliminated (the blasting noise from a large screen is not conducive to a peaceful ambience)2) Cell phone talking should be banned from the pool area3) Children shouldn't be allowed to scream Marco Polo in the pool--especially at night. This (and a rule against cell phone talking) should be enforced.It also might be a good idea--for safety's sake--to put a railing on the walkway to the Cove entrance.
