Tervetuloa Villa Mariin !!!!
Paeta kohtaan, jonka perheemme on tuntenut viimeisen 50 vuoden aikana maagisen maagisen paikan !!!! El Cocal on Puerto Ricon itärannikon kauniiden vuorten ja Karibian valtameren välissä sijaitseva rantatalojen porteitettu yhteisö. Tässä mielesi, kehosi ja sielu eivät voi auttaa, vaan rentoutua ja tulla yhdeksi luonnon kanssa.
Villa Mar on upouusi talo, jossa 3 makuuhuonetta ja 2 1/2 kylpyhuonetta. Makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuode. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kerrossänky, jossa kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja pohjassa täysi vyöryvä sänky. Kolmas makuuhuoneessa on queen-size-vuode. Täydellinen keittiö, olohuone-tv, dvd, iPod-asema, pelit, elokuvat, ruokasali, iso kuisti merinäköalalla, hammac ja ulkokalusteet, ulkosuihku ja kylpyhuone, pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, kaikki liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet, parkkipaikka kahdelle autolle , klubitalo, jossa koripallokenttä, rantatuoleja, koripalloa jne. Amazing property and location. Host is incredible, immediate communication if needed. The beach is beautiful, pool just right and easy drive to restaurants and provisions. Hope to visit again!

Paradise!!

This was truly paradise for our family. Elizabeth's home is impeccable and truly has EVERYTHING you could need or want. I don't think there was a better place to truly spend quality time together. One of our last nights there we didn't want to be away from the house it was just so serene so we got sandwiches and took in all the views that are just stunning. The people in the area were kind, warm and welcoming. I have never felt more relaxed- and cannot wait to come back. Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your paradise and happy place with our family!

2025 Sisters Trip

My sisters and I all live in different states. This was the perfect oasis to meet each other and make memories. Elizabeth was a great host:owner. Very helpful and accessible! I had hesitation driving In Puerto Rico but it was very easy.Beautiful home, views and such a lovely neighborhood! Very safe!

School vacation at the beach!

Loved the property. So close to the water. Pool was key! Bring water shoes, the beach is a little rocky, but absolutely beautiful! Would stay again!

An Island Paradise!

Exactly as described. It’s a beautiful home with an awesome pool, spectacular views and sunrises, and gentle breezes. We loved it so much that we booked again for next year. Seriously, if you want a quiet peaceful gated neighborhood with all of the above, this is the place.

Beautiful!

We absolutely loved this gated community and the home. While there is not air conditioning in the kitchen and living room, we were not bothered by this at all because of the ocean breeze. And we happen to love the heat!The beach was gorgeous, and there is a little bit of rocks off to the left side that blocks waves if you wanted to wait into the water. Everything you need is here, beach, chairs, toys, games, Beach towels, etc. I highly recommend it!

Family Fall Vacay

The property was exactly as listed. It was a little hard to find but not a huge issue. We felt very safe and relaxed- and Elizabeth was quick to respond with any questions we had. There is only a/c in the bedrooms- for the most part it wasn’t an issue other than in the mornings when it was hotter because of the sun position- but the pool is amazing and made it great!

Amazing Beach House Get Away!

We had a great time in this beautiful beach house. We stayed for 8 days and loved the neighborhood and the secluded beach. We met locals and ate mangos they gave us from their tree. Elizabeth was so friendly and helpful! She brought over two new boogie boards and our 15 and 12 year old had a blast riding waves in. We felt very safe and we are so happy we chose this house. So many family memories made.

Amazing Place! We'll be back!

Our stay was simply amazing! The owners' were so welcoming and helpful and the setting is like paradise. One whole wall of the living area opens up so that the prevailing winds off the ocean blow through the house. There were wake boards and beach chairs for us to use. We loved the empanadas at the bar up hwy 901. We did lose power for entire day but the owners made things right, and new generators were being installed while we were there for our stay. We'll be back next year for a longer stay!

We love it here!!!

This was the best location we could have imagined!! We would love to come and stay here again! We loved the house, it was perfect!! The gated community was so safe and we felt like we had a private beach and it was sooo beautiful and just steps away! It had great boogie boarding waves we and our kids loved, along with anything you could want in a beach!! We loved the huge sliding door on the covered patio that’s right off the main part of the house that let in the ocean breezes and sounds and made you feel like you were still on the beach! The views are simply breathtaking!! It truly is paradise!! Elizabeth was so thoughtful to have food there for us to prepare for our first morning, since we had arrived quite late and stores were already closed! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home and for taking such great care of us while we were there!

Beautiful place in a beautiful place

Everything was simply perfect (and exactly as advertised)! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. This place is magical! Two suggested improvements (please): 1) The "wand" for opening the gate never worked for us. Please correct this problem. We tried everything we could think of (and probably looked pretty silly trying some things), but we always had to call to have the gate opened. 2) The cushions on the sofas - both inside and outside - are really in need of an upgrade. These are only (hopefully) helpful suggestions. This is an amazing and beautiful place, in an amazing and beautiful place.

Anniversary Getaway

We came here for our 20th Anniversary getaway with our kids. Overall the property was very good, the pool was fantastic and we really enjoyed it. That being said, I think there could be more transparency about the air conditioning situation. At first glance, we thought AC was available throughout the unit. It's only available in the bedrooms, and that was a huge issue for us considering there were excessive heat warnings in mid-June when we were there. Most of the time when it got really hot, which was most of the day everyone ended up retreating to their rooms, and it was hard to have any family time in the evenings as a result. We loved the pool, but the living area being extremely hot most of the day was a big let-down for us.

Do we have to leave?

When we saw this house was not only ocean front with a private pool, but also overlooked a basketball court, we knew it was the perfect spot for our family. House layout is great and well stocked. The natural light through large sliding doors (which we mostly kept open for the breeze), the view from the patio and pool . . . Just wonderful. We spent a few days just relaxing at the house, and others visiting popular destinations (swimming with sea turtles was the best!). It may not seem like there’s many nearby food places but we found several that were tasty and inexpensive! Theres a great little bay for swimming, and others for jumping waves. We did experience seaweed the 2nd half of the week, but it stayed out of the bay initially, and . . . did I mention the amazing pool?

Fabulous Home & Location

We will definitely rent this property again!! The house was just as described; lovely, spacious, clean. The open air space in the living area was wonderful. I worried about bugs and the heat but, they were non-issues. The private pool situated just above the entrance to the beach was a little bit of heaven!! We did make the mistake of going to Walmart in Humacao before our Saturday check in ... I would strongly urge against going to Walmart unless you place your order online first ... but even so, I'd avoid it all together. We found everything we needed right in Yabucoa. We didn't venture out much but enjoyed appetizers and drinks at Buen Rato and did pop over to Palmas Del Mar for dinner at Captain's Shack at the Yacht Club; get there early to get a table on the water. Having the rental car for the week was totally worth it!! Next time, we will stay longer and venture out more. We got to meet Elizabeth. She's was a wonderful host, easy to talk to and receptive to feedback. Totally recommend starting at Camino Nuevo!!

Fabulous House on a Beautiful Beach

The house is simply spectacular! Everything is as pictured. Spotlessly clean. Cannot beat the view! The indoor outdoor/living was sublime. During the week, we practically had the whole beach to ourselves! A few more people on the weekend, but still felt private. Nice long stretch of beach to walk on, and if you climb over a few rocks you can go to a completely private beach! Be aware that this house does not have an oven, (it has a toaster oven and an outdoor grill and a cooktop) so keep that in mind if you are planning to cook there. Also, the wand to open the gate did not work, but someone let us in each time and Elizabeth said they are soon going to a different system. Pool is lovely (but always remember the tiles will be slippery with wet feet). El Cocal beach is a lovely, non-touristy, off the beaten path location. It is not close to things, but a perfect place to relax and unwind. There are many things within an hour’s drive to visit. The roads in that area are a bit windy, but just fine unless you are a nervous driver. We did not want to leave!

EL Cocal is a very special place for me and my family. My grandparents bought a beach house when El Cocal was created 50 years ago. As a Kid my family used to spend weekends at the Beach House. This was and is my happy and safe place, lots of Great memories!!!!!
My family loved this place so much that my parents retired at the Beach house and I recently built two villas to keep coming every year with my husband and two beautiful boys. I want for them to experience what I experience as a child, tranquility, family time and quality of life.
If you are looking for your happy place this might be the one!!!
