Vie perheesi Mountain Mountain Lodge -hotelliin unohtumattomalle Deep Creek-lomalle. Tämä hyvin varusteltu lomamökki sijaitsee Wisp Mountainin huipulla DC Highlandsin arvostetussa porteilla. Tulet rakastumaan sen vuoristomaisemiin.
Neljä askelta upeaan huoneeseen ja tiedät heti, että olet löytänyt perheesi suosikki kokoontumispaikka. Kierrä halkeilevan takan edessä, katsele elokuvaa tai ota vain luonnonkauniit näkymät. Holvikatot ja tyylikkäät parketit luovat tyylikkään ilmapiirin, kun taas avoin pohjaratkaisu tuo viihdyttävän tuulen. Vanhemmat parit voivat kokoontua yhdessä luodakseen herkullisia ruokia tilavaan nykyaikaiseen keittiöön, jossa on lisäkaapit, graniittitasot ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet. Will visit Deep Creek again. Unfortunately, our code on front door was changed at 9:00 a.m. in the morning on our departure day when we had the home rented until 12:00 p.m. My son was locked out for 15 minutes until we realized what was going on. This seems to have happened to other people renting through Taylor-Made Realty. This was our only complaint with our experience.

Great location - Good for groups

We enjoyed our 3-night stay. The rooms were all clean and we felt like we had enough space. Check-in was easy and simple. The binder of information was well organized and appreciated. Check-out was also easy and we had no big complaints. We were happy to have the fire pit and the hot tub. It was colder summer weather than normal so they were extra enjoyable. There were a few small issues including a bee’s nest on the side of the house (one guest got stung twice), and overhead lights not working in one of the bedrooms. These were not bothersome enough for us to complain during our stay. But I will say, they seem like things that should have been noticed and taken care of before our arrival. The location of this house is great. Close to everything, but still quiet and tranquil. We saw lots of wildlife including deer, skunks, and a bald eagle!

Good location-Dog friendly

Good location, good for groups, quiet neighborhood and enjoyable for walking with or without the dogs. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. I’m rating this house as 4/3 because the condition doesn’t match the price. The house is listed as lake view however you cannot see the lake from anywhere on the property. Taylor-Made rental company needs to maintain the house better by repairing broken items. They did use bleach to sanitize (we smelled it when we arrived). However, the master bathroom shower has mold/soap scum on the walls and floor. The hot tub did work but most of the jets are broken.

Nice place. Fun time.

Overall, a great time. Plenty of room, the master suite on upper level was perfect. The hot tub was either not working or we couldn’t figure it out. It was cold when we arrived and did not reach a hot temp before our departure. Very clean. Seemed to need some updating but nothing that affected the fun we had. No complaints but nothing extremely over-the-top impressive with the house that would make us stay there a second time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an excellent vacation property. The house was incredibly clean, the layout was exceptional with plenty of space for tons of people, location was only a five minute drive down to the lake, outdoor deck/patio/fire pit spaces were large and beautiful and all the interior / exterior entertaining spaces were perfect. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was HUGE and fun, the living room sectional sofa was one of the largest I’ve ever seen and incredibly comfy, and the bathrooms were clean and updated. There were so many pros, I would recommend this house in a heartbeat. It looked even better than the pictures. The only cons I would could even think to note are: the drip coffee pot was one of the slowest I’ve ever used (20-30 min to brew a full pot) and if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to daylight, the main master bedroom has a beautiful triangle shaped window that lets in a ton of light as soon as the sun rises and there’s no curtain or blind or anyway to cover it. I’m an early riser so didn’t mind it, but something to consider. Overall, even the cons weren’t really very negative at all, and I just cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful home but construction next door

Reviewer Comments: The home and neighborhood was lovely however the House next door is under construction and the workers started before 8 am on Saturday morning. We were only there two nights and expected peace and quiet. The residence also wasn’t as clean as we would have liked, this may have been from being empty as the furniture was dusty and some dead bugs on window sills.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Taylor Made was spot on throughout our experience. From pre-vacation planning through departure, they took care of us. This experience will lead us to using them again vs the other rental companies. The house did have some issues that will make us look elsewhere. There was a funky smell on certain days from what we were told was the power plant. There was also water issues on the lower level as the house does not have gutters. All rain runoff is directed right by the bottom entries.

Summer Family Vacation in Deep Creek

Reviewer Comments: The house was in a nice location convenient to Deep Creek Lake activities. The pool and playground within the community are excellent amenities that we utilized often. Only complaint is that the house isn't really "lake view" in the summer. I'm sure the view is nice in the winter when the leaves are gone. Also, there are some minor things in the house that need to be repaired, however the condition is good overall for a vacation rental property.

Great house BUT very unprofessional management

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 20th year of renting a house in the Deep Creek area for Thanksgiving. We have rented several different homes as our family's size & ages changed. This was our 2nd year at Glass Mountain Lodge. We love the location & the house. Unfortunately, because of Taylor Made's unprofessionalism, we will most likely not rent from them in the future. Upon arrival at the office, the person checked us in while sucking on his lollipop the entire time (I'm willing to overlook that alone but....). Then both fireplaces did not work. I called, repairman came & left without speaking to us. They still were not fixed, so I called back. I was told "someone will be over" but no one ever showed up after that 1st time. This went on for 4 days until finally I was told that a part needed to be ordered & we would not have use of the fireplaces during our stay. On our departure day, our door lock code was disabled at 10am - checkout is at 12 noon. we were stuck outside and had to call the office again. We were given a 1x door code (meaning we could only use that code to open the door 1x) & told to "just prop the door open". When I questioned that since it was very cold outside, did they really want us to prop the door open for 2 hours, we were given another code to use until noon. In addition to this the lock on the ground floor slider, the vacuum cleaner, the master shower door, & the towel ring were all broken/nonfunctional. I DO hope the new owners are aware of these issues, as it is a great house & I certainly would want to know if my management company behaved in such a rude and unprofessional manner.

Anniversary celebration.....Glass Mountain Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was absolutely perfect for our family! It was impeccably clean, well stocked.... Much nicer than I expected! We all had plenty of space and never felt we didn't have privacy! I loved the layout! We were all able to relax! There were plenty of activities to do in the area for the children. I am so sorry that we didn't discover Deep Creek years ago when our children were young. We would definately have bought here! The amenities and the location of the neighborhood were so nice. The only thing we had a problem with was finding the beach area. We thought it was where the dock was. My only suggestion for the house is to have better instructions for the DVD player. We had a hard time using it! It would have been helpful to have detailed instructions! Otherwise......perfect! We loved it! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Glass Mountain July 4th

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Glass Mountain Lodge and had up to 9 adults at one time. The house is in good shape and looks like the photos. If travelers are all Adults the house probably best with 8 people max, but we were able to have a bed for every one with 9 people. The GPS does not well on the mountain, and each of us did get lost on the 1st visit, but after one trip up the mountain, you will find it is located nicely close to WISP resort, Lodestone golf and the lake.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am disappointed with our stay this year . We have been coming to Deep Creek for the past 6 years and this was the first year we were disappointed. We like staying in the DC highlands because of the location and amenities . When we first arrived we had to get the gate code from the rental office 3 times . The gate to exit was broke . We had to call the maintenance guy out to fix a loud beeping noise and also the tv 3 times. This was annoying becuase the pool was not available yet then we didn't have the tv. I felt like the carpets were in need of replacing or a good scrubbing I felt like I couldn't take my shoes off. Since the house only had 1 thermostat it was hot upstairs and freezing downstairs . The house really needs 2 zones of heating / air conditioning . Since it was so cold we tried turning on the fireplace to knock the chill out and that didn't work . It was disappointing because you spend all this money on a house rental expecting more in which those needs have always been met . This house needs some updating with the flooring. I would not recommend this property .

Glass Mountain Lodge Review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very spacious, bed were comfortable and the house was basically clean. Some small repairs are needed, shower curtain rod / light bulbs / window screens. Over all I would give it an eight out of ten.

President's Day Ski Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed being together and the house was nicely situated to the slopes. The bathrooms were large as was the kitchen. However the basement was very cold relative to the upstairs and there were a few things that didn't work properly like the dishwasher. The bedding was also a bit dated.
