Upea merinäköala Wavecrestissä! Mustang-vaihtovelkakirjalaina vuokrattavana

Molokai on Havaijin saarten parhaiten varjeltu salaisuus, koska se on "todellinen Havaiji". Koe todellinen Havaijin saari 50 vuotta sitten. Remontoimme ja uudistimme merenrantakontomme rakentaessamme Wavecrestin "A", aivan meren rannalla. Valmisimme uusien lattioiden asennuksen ja muut parannukset vuonna 2019.
Aika hidastuu Molokaissa. Anna saaren pestä pois ajatukset kiireisestä maailmasta. Rentoudu ja hidasta arvostaaksesi kauniita päiviä lempeällä tuulet ja rauhallinen yö tähtien alla.
Nauti pienen kaupungin tunnelmasta ystävällisiä ihmisiä ja hymyileviä kasvoja. Osta kaupungin yksinkertaisia tarpeita ilman pysähdysvaloja ja ystävällisiä kuljettajia.
Vaellus kauniissa laaksoissa. Snorkkeli valtavissa kalalammikoissa koralli- ja värikkäiden kalojen joukossa.
Näytä sekä Maui että Lanai lanaiistasi. Maistele aamukahvia, kun näet kauniin auringonnousun Mauin yläpuolella. Ota eturivin istuin kaikelle sinisen Tyynen valtameren kauneudelle ja kaikelle valaiden katselutoiminnalle talvikaudella.
Vaeltaessasi värikkäällä maisemoidulla lomakeskuksella löydät merenranta-uima-altaan, jolla on Cabana, lukukirjaston, kaasu-BB-Q: n, lepotuoleja, pöytiä ja shuffleboardia sekä erittäin ystävällisiä ihmisiä.

Wonderful vistas

This is a delightful condo in a quiet and peaceful setting. The owners are helpful and responsive. The views from the lanai are great. We watched whales breaching outside the reef with our morning tea. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed is comfortable, and the pool was perfect for our morning swims.

Great Molokai Condo

Very nice 1 bedroom condo on Molokai on south side of island! Well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, and nice community pool. Close to south beaches and easy drive to north and west beaches and sights. Hosts Gerald and Meredith were very helpful and it was great renting their xTerra vehicle from them!!

Perfect for our visit

The property was centrally located to everything we wanted to do while celebrating our anniversary. We hiked, swam in the sea and in the pool, shopped the local stores, fruit stands and church thrift stores, watched surfers and turtles, found deer, turkeys, pigs, pheasant and ate some good meals at The Paddler’s inn and Hiro’s seaside grill. The condo and car option was exactly what we needed to relax and play.

Marvelous view!

From start to finish, everything was wonderful. I looked at many different units across the island. Once we got to the island and drove around and saw other rental properties, was very happy with our decision to stay at Wavecrest. The unit is very well furnished and maintained. Owners were very kind and walked us through all steps from reservation to checkout. Would definitely rent from them again!

Wonderful location

Great location. Great ocean view unit. Great communication with owner. Property manager completely absent: Open and available for minimal hours, and even then they CLOSE in the middle of those minimal hours for a “break”. They seem to have much more interest in their own self interests rather than the owners whom they are supposed to represent.

Beautiful

My wife and I stayed here a couple days for our 25th Anmiversary. We discovered that Molokai does not have all the toursit trappings of all the other islands and is a quiet, relaxed place. The condo was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the ocean and Maui. The owners answered any questions or problems promptly and had great communication with them. This is a very beautiful place and would not hesitate reccommending it.

Return to Molokai after 22 Years

Our VRBO stay on the island of Molokai after 22 years (!) was nothing short of perfect. We were dating when we first visited Molokai. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this past visit. The condo had everything we needed. The combination of the exceptional vacation rental from Jerry and Meredith Johnson, breathtaking location, and genuine hospitality made it an unforgettable experience. This was an amazing vacation!! The property is perfect just as described.. v

Cannot recommend more.. Jerry and Meredith were great communicating with us.. Beautiful sunrises. Go to the benches in the eve to socialize with other residents to watch the sunset!! I grew up in the islands and had never been to Molokai.. it’s a true get away!! Pool was great and usually just a few peeps around.. bbq set up is great.. we ate most meals in but ventured to grounds and grinds several times for fried rice and egg rolls to go with what we were grilling.. if you really want to escape this is the place for you

Great Vacation

This was my second trip to Molokai and first time to stay at Wavecrest and this condo, and I would rent this unit again. Excellent value for the "A" building and the premium ocean view is everything. The lanai always had shade so it was easy to spend lots of time there just enjoying the day. Wonderful trade winds and the ceiling fans kept the condo cool. The condo was clean and comfortable. The grounds and pool are well maintained and lovely. The owners responded quickly to all my emails and were always very helpful. Their communication is another reason why I would recommend booking their unit. I really like Molokai for its rural, slow, quiet natural beauty. This island is easily becoming my Hawaiian island of choice.

Amazing sunrise views and whale watching!

This condo and resort is absolutely lovely! The view is amazing - I enjoyed watching the sunrise over Maui and the whales with their babies playing just outside the reef. There are turtles hanging out and stingrays jumping just beyond the lanai. The resort is very peaceful, the pool is beautiful and all of the guests/owners are very friendly. It's perfectly located on the island, close to all the sights and amenities. Molokai is a true Hawaiian paradise, untouched by tourism. It's a great place to unwind, slow down, and appreciate the peaceful quiet. It offers a lot from relaxation, adventure, and a deeper connection with Hawaiian culture. I highly recommend the Halawa Valley cultural hike to the waterfall. It was an unforgettable experience. Gerry and Meredith are wonderful hosts - they were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. They provided excellent instructions and I appreciated being able to rent "Brutus", their SUV. Upon arrival, they reached out to ensure I had settled in and to let me know they were available if I had any questions or concerns. I look forward to visiting Molokai again some day and I will definitely want to stay in Gerry and Meredith's condo!

Gorgeous in everyway

We knew Moloka'i would be a unique experience. This exceeded every expectation. The condo was beautiful and right on the water. We watched sunrise right from the lanai and then walked just to the other side of the building to watch sunsets. They were stunning. The area was incredibly quiet (which is exactly what we were looking for.) We grabbed groceries from the Friendly Market (very reasonable prices for meat and produce) and took advantage of the recently updated kitchen. Best stocked kitchen of any vrbo location we have ever been to! The owners were incredibly responsive and often checked in to see how our stay was going. We also rented the mustang which was very convenient. (Just be sure to grab the antenna from the trunk of you want radio.) The condo is part of a complex that i thought might be noisy. It wasn't. The people there were very respectful. This is not a party resort. Unless you count the night that had an impromptu concert of a singer, ukelele, and spoons that played until sunset. If you are looking for a Waikiki type experience, don't come here! If planning to come to this island, bring cash. More than one location had credit card machines down. Also be aware that people are not in any hurry. Which was a good excuse for us to slow down as well. This was the final of the Hawaiian islands that we visited and we are very much looking forward to coming back.

Wow

We rented this condo for a week and took advantage of the island car. From the initial booking enquiry to the prompt return of the car deposit the owners were a pleasure to deal with. The car was waiting for us at the airport and after picking up some groceries the simple directions got us to the condo. We were very happy with the condo, first impressions were clean, well-maintained and tastefully furnished/decorated (love the turtle in the "porthole" in the bathroom). The kitchen had all we needed and more and the fridge/cupboards contained some basics to augment the groceries we bought. The living room was very comfortable but we hardly used it as we spent all our condo time on the lanai. Sitting on the lanai for meals, for drinks or just watching for whales (2 pairs of binos provided) was pure bliss. We are not traditionally early risers on vacation but we did see two sunrises over Maui - gorgeous. Sunsets can be viewed by walking to the west end of the building, there's a lawn with benches there. The bedroom had plenty of storage space and the bed was very comfortable. The ceiling fan over the bed in addition to the louvered windows in the bedroom and living room kept the temperature just right. We were very pleased with the collection of beach gear that was provided. Absolutely everything to facilitate a full day at the beach. The pool (and indeed the whole complex) was very clean and well maintained. There are plenty of loungers around the pool and a covered area with tables and chairs. Between the pool and the sea there is a lawn area that also has loungers, great for whale watching between swims. The barbeque area is at the pool - clean, well-maintained and well lit. Take advantage of the island car - it's a blast. The speed limits are commonly in the 20 - 35 mph range and seeing as you won't be in a hurry to get anywhere anyway - do it with the top down. The drive to Halawa Beach Park is a real treat in a convertible. Our Molokai holiday was absolutely fantastic and we really appreciate having such a wonderful place to stay. Mahalo.

Wonderful space to relax and recharge!

This condo was very comfortable and well-furnished. The owners, Jerry and Meredith, were quick to respond to any of our questions. Instructions for using the space were detailed and helpful.The "Binder" found on the coffee table provided us with loads of information about how to get around on the island, get groceries, find any of the best spots for swimming, exploring, touring, music and more. I kept finding more information I needed each time I read it. The tradewinds blew into our living space all of the time, keeping the place comfortable enough, and making you feel like you were almost outside. The view was unparalleled. Sunrises and sunsets out our sliding glass door were different each day and usually spectacular. The table and chairs on the lanai, which was very private, were great for enjoying a glass of wine, a cup of coffee or a meal.The swimming pool was excellent, allowing us to even do mini-laps each day if we wished. The condo is in the middle of the second floor, ocean-front in a complex of three buildings called the Wavecrest. The grounds are lovely, well-kept and perfect for a stroll any time of day. There are dozens of different plants and flowers on the grounds. We never got to play tennis, but it was an option.The island was as advertised- not catering to tourists, yet friendly and welcoming; gave you a sense of the real Hawaii 50 years ago, before it became commercialized. We especially liked our trip to Kalaupapa (we chose the 5 minute air flight over the hike or mule ride) and the visit to the Macadamia Nut Farm. Saturday Farmer's Market gave us a chance to buy local fruits and vegetables. The experience, including the comfortable condo, allowed us to truly slow down and experience life more like the native Hawaiians. I almost forgot two items- great closet full of beach toys including body boards, snorkel equipment and even a stand-up paddle board. And make sure you take advantage of renting "the Pony", a 2007 Mustang convertible found at the airport. Just leave it there before you fly out. Great price and lots of fun to drive.

A hidden gem

The condo was everything as advertised. Jerry and Meredith are awesome hosts. They kept in contact with us from the time we booked to the time we departed. We will for sure be staying at their home the next time we visit Molokai. If you are looking for a place that offers spectacular views and a quiet setting this is the place to stay. The view from the Lania is breathtaking and waking up each morning reminds you that you are truly in paradise. Thank you Jerry and Meredith for the wonderful memories.

Best Place on Molokai

If you're thinking of visiting Molokai – and you definitely should – stop looking at other places and book this condo NOW. It is the best experience my husband and I have ever had traveling! The place is immaculate and COMPLETELY stocked with all the dishes and pans you need to make any type of meal you choose. The view is indescribable and we spent quite a bit of time just sitting on the lanai staring at it. Wonderful, wonderful, place with super-responsive hosts. Ooops, almost forgot: Do yourself a favor and rent the Xterra they have on offer; it is the PERFECT vehicle with which to explore the island!

Gorgeous place

We spent a week in this lovely condo, right on the water. Everything was great, kitchen fully outfitted and many fun beach, golf and picnic Items. Communication with the owners was friendly and very responsive. We would love to stay again!

Jerry is a retired Marine Pilot and High School Physics teacher. Meredith is a retired accountant. We live in Milton, FL on a small family farm, and we have a small vineyard to take care of. We enjoy coming to our condo in Moloka'i and keep busy with added improvements when we visit. Our greatest joy is our 6 children, their spouses and our thirteen grandchildren ranging in age from 4 to 22, as well as our many pets, who bring us great joy.

After two trips to Molokai we were infatuated with the beautiful island. It is like the "Old Hawaii" and definitely is the "Friendly Isle" that they speak of. Wavecrest grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. The staff and neighbors are all very friendly. We recently sold our condo on Maui that we had been renting to guests since 2009 that we loved. Both islands are very different, but both have their own unique charm.

Beautiful Ocean view that is mesmerizing. We love the Trade winds softly blowing through the large, one bedroom condo. Quiet and serene, although there are lots of new friends to meet at Wavecrest. We were blown away by the beautiful ocean view! Absolutely amazing!
