Beautiful and relaxing.

This condo is way better than even a hotel upgrade. It's roomy, two balconies. It's on the 2nd floor, on the end. Fully equipped for linens and in the kitchen. There's a bbq poolside. And with a beautiful view of the ocean and Maui. I cannot see myself paying the resort prices on the other islands. There are several beaches going east 45 min to the eastern ebd of Molokai, which gets more rainfall. 50 min to the west end. 35 min to the airport.Molokai us fascinating. A week on Molokai

Molokai is an island of diverse geography. You do need a four-wheel drive to access many parts and be prepared to spend much time commuting if you intend to see both the west and eastern ends of the island. Wave Crest is on the mid-eastern third of the island. It is an older 3 level condominium collection of 3 buildings . It is waterfront but these are not swimming beaches. We saw a beautiful sunrise over Maui many mornings. Our unit was furnished well.

Comfortable Condo in Paradise

Sheilia's condo is well provisioned, clean and VERY comfortable. The roosters will wake you up between 4-6am daily so that could be a problem for some, not us its just nature. The views are perfect and the residents at the property are very friendly. The trade winds can breeze through the condo in the evening for a perfect cool sleep.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful Tropical Island breezes, view, and a lovely home to unwind and relax! The location was amazing minutes to all the best places! This particular unit was a hidden gem; since it is a corner unit it had a lot more rooms and bathrooms not like the other units. You don’t get the small rooms. It felt like a home away from home, with all the extra touches throughout the home. I can’t wait to go back! Everyone was friendly, and the neighbors were so kind too. It was quite and so peaceful. The check-in was simple, the parking was easy, and Sheila was an amazing host! She communicated a lot better than we did! I’m so thankful we got to stay in her home. Thank you Sheila! Everything we needed was provided and the home was decorated so nicely. Very clean too! It was so beautiful! Can’t wait to go back! There is a Sandy beach steps from her home. If you don’t like the beach there is a pool. Literally, the best views and the breezes went throughout the entire home. Plenty of beautiful ceiling fans too. This is rare on Molokai!

Molokai Vacation

Facility very remote and safe. End unit but you can hear neighbors above. Without AC you need to leave windows open all times to keep temp comfortable. The prob we had was there are so many wild Roosters that begin crowing every day between 3:30 - 5:00 am until past noon. We both had foam ear plugs that helped but made hard to sleep.

A Slice of Paradise

This was our first time booking a private residence, but the allure of Moloka'i helped overcome my hesitation (since there are no "resorts" on this island). From start to finish, the Meyers made this an easy process. Great communication about not only the unit, but everything you could want to know about the island too! Check in was easy, as was finding the unit at the complex. It's well-furnished, and has every amenity you could need. We wanted for nothing. Views are spectacular from either lana'i, and we particularly enjoyed watching the whales every morning. The hosts are gracious and accommodating, checking in with us throughout the stay to ensure we had everything we needed. If you're considering a trip to Moloka'i, do not hesitate to request this unit. It truly is a slice of paradise!

I’ve travelled the world and this is the best it gets.

Molokai is the most magical island or location on this earth, especially if you only speak English. This was the best value, quality, and experience. I do not like crowds. I do not like tourists. Molokai was perfect. For the same experience on Maui it would be close to $10,000, if not more. We had million dollar views for a poor man’s budget. Maui, my husband said it would be nice to come back every 5 years. Molokai, my husband wants to retire there. We love the rain, we loved the private black sand beach, and the people were wonderful. Words of advice, don’t buy groceries, it’s cheaper to eat out. We just got breakfast stuff and found it a better value at the Pizza shop. Most diverse menu on the island. Paddlers was eh. Wasn’t too impressed. LOVED THE ARTIST CO-OP!!! This island is for people who love nature. We saw humpback whales from shore, from boat, from air, and even heard the baby whales talking up a storm. I’ve been to Nicaragua, Australia, South Africa, China and Molokai took the cake for wild lands and wild life. We got to see the whole island because we had little rain which was a blessing! Go to Halawa Valley, I was told “the valley cries when you cry.” I’m Native American and heavily connected with the Hawaiians. Best trip ever.♄ My husband absolutely loved the care and attention given to the decorations. Adding the “Molokai” in words with different pictures was perfect for a quick selfie. The rooms, kitchen, lanai’s, EVERYTHING you need.

Enjoyed our stay - host was excellent

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Molokai. The condo was nice and had everything we needed. There was no AC but it was not needed in January. I want to commend our host, Sheila. She gave us plenty of information before our trip about Molokai, a less traveled island. Late in our week there were torrential rains, and the road to our east end of the island was impassible. The only hotel on the island was unreachable. Sheila graciously allowed us to extend our stay while the rains subsided. Otherwise would have been sleeping in our car or the cabana:( Thank you, Sheila.

Unbelievable Experience in Molokai!

I am not sure that I could have dreamed up a more perfect vacation than this! Molokai gets some publicity regarding them not wanting visitors and tourists. We did not experience this at all! Everyone we interacted with on the island was welcoming and kind to us. Such warm and helpful people. Staying in Sheila's condo was absolutely perfect! When we had questions before going, Sheila was incredibly fast to get back to us with answers to any and all questions we had. When we were in Molokai, she checked in on us and made sure everything was going well! She is a fantastic host! Molokai is not for everyone! But it sure was perfect for us! If you are looking for a resort with a wild nightlife... Go elsewhere! The island shuts down early. (With the exception of Molokai Hot Bread) Roosters will wake you up early in the morning, but with the early evenings, it is fine. We were welcomed into the condo community with open arms. We even joined the locals for a bingo night in the recroom area by the pool. Our trip was a combination of outdoor adventures in nature and relaxing in paradise. Activities we did on Molokai: We went on a hike to the waterfall and learned all about the history of Molokai and Halawa Valley with Halawa Valley Falls Cultural Hike. This was an incredible experience! We went on Whale watching and snorkelling excursions with Molokai Fish and Dive. Awesome! We drove to the lookout point over Kalaupapa. Incredible Views! Can even see the Sea Cliffs a little bit there. Went to the beaches on the west side of the island to see some incredible waves. Although the day we went there, they were too wild (20+ ft waves) for any person to go in the water. Went one evening for Molokai Hotbread. (I recommend the butter, cream cheese and cinnamon) It was super tasty, although it was a lot. Could easily be shared with 3-4 people. The food on Molokai: We both loved the food we had on the Island. Places we ate: Molokai Pizza - Ate here twice. Was really good both times. Hiro's Ohana Grill (At Hotel Molokai) - Really enjoyed the Catch of the Day. Paddlers Restaurant and Bar - Really enjoyed the Tomato Jam Burger. Person at the neighbouring table had the Gyro and it looked really good! Ono Fish & Shrimp Food Truck (Beside Molokai Fish and Dive) - LOVED LOVED the fish tacos. Something for Everyone (Gift Shop) - Made us FRESH smoothies using real fruit! Worth the trip into town! Dave's Ice Cream - Tasty Ice Cream Treats.

This property suited our needs perfectly! Our family of five stayed very comfortably, not only in terms of sleeping arrangements, but also room to be together and room to be apart. The kitchen is VERY well stocked with any thing you might need to cook a meal and dine together. I highly recommend this unit!

Can not beat the location

I loved being able to lie in the king bed and see the ocean and mountains. Views were spectacular. Kitchen was furnished with everything we needed. I loved loved loved the oasis

Excellent Ocean View Condo

The property is a home away from home with lots of thoughtful details. As a corner unit, the dual decks and ocean views are excellent. The owners helpfully checked in with us on our visit to ensure all was well. The condo community is friendly and the staff assisted us with finding a place to spray off red dirt before returning our vehicle. All in all a great base for exploring and relaxing on Molokai.

Perfect spot

It was a perfect place for visiting family to stay. Nice views, grounds and pool. Communication was great with the owner! We spent more time there than at our house.

The Meyer family likes to venture to new places so we decided to accept an invitation to visit it ourselves with some friends who have owned property here for over 5 years.
Well
. put simply
 We fell in love with the island and knew this was the island we wanted to spend more time at. We purchased it in November, 2019 and started remodeling the kitchen, updating the bathrooms & bedrooms to make our “place in paradise” more comfortable and inviting to our family and future guests. We discovered some wonderful places here on Molokai, that we hope you too, will venture out and experience. The beaches are beautiful and quiet! You may not even see anyone else while you are here soaking up the sun and listening to the sweet harmony of palm trees swaying in the breeze and the waves dancing on the beach.
