Klassinen saarimökki, jossa on trooppisia puutarhoja ympäri. Mukava koti lähellä merta aurinkoisella etelärannalla, vain muutaman askeleen päässä Baby Beachistä, upea kausiluonteinen uima- / snorklausranta. Piha on rehevästi maisemoitu kukka- ja hedelmäpuilla kauniista puutarhanäkökohdista.

Keittiösi on täysin varusteltu, joten voit valita syödä kotona tai ruokailla yhdessä monista hienoista, lähellä olevista ravintoloista. Voit käydä joka arkipäivänä jollakin Kauai's Sunshine Marketilla, viljelijän markkinoilla eri kaupungissa. Annamme sinulle aikataulun, jotta voit tutustua tuoreimpiin paikallisiin tuotteisiin, mukaan lukien eksoottiset hedelmälajikkeet, käytettäväksi luomiesi ruokia. *** Peruutussäännöt *** Peruutukset, jotka tehdään 1–6–12 / 14 välisenä aikana, vaativat 90 päivän kirjallisen ilmoituksen alkuperäisen talletuksen palauttamisesta, josta on vähennetty 75 dollarin käsittelymaksu ja palauttamaton 50 dollarin varausmaksu. Jos alle 90 päivän kirjallinen ilmoitus, koko alkuperäinen talletus menetetään. Vuokra ja valmistevero pidätetään, mikäli alle 60 päivää kirjallisesti ilmoitetaan siitä. House was comfortable, well taken care of and full of charm. Steps to the beach. The one negative was the noisy window air conditioners in the bedrooms. I'd suggest an upgrade to newer, quieter, more efficient models. And while you're at it, put one in the living room!

Nice Hawaiian Bungalow

We enjoyed our stay in this classic Hawaiian bungalow. It is on a quiet street, very close to the uncrowded Poipu Baby Beach. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the peaceful front lanai/porch. Great restaurants and shopping are nearby. Very happy with the house and the location.

Wake up with the roosters

The place is clean, mostly comfortable, in a good location and nice neighborhood. Roosters in the neighborhood begin crowing, usually at 3am, but once at 1am. It made sleep difficult and made the Kauai experience less than it should have been. I would not choose VRBO in Kauai in the future knowing how many chickens are living in the residential neighborhoods. Also, I said the residence was mostly comfortable. The mattresses were not comfortable.

We can walk to a beach and to eateries and shops. Its pretty quiet though this time there was a rooster who couldn’t figure out what time of day it was, several nights it crowed almost hourly. Perfect, quiet getaway

This house was perfect for our trip to Kawai. It's in a quiet neighborhood, with quiet neighbors, in a nice part of town. Having access to a washer/dryer was convenient and I took advantage of the new bbq. There were no issues with the house and we'd stay here again.

Grace and charm at the beach

This is for people who enjoy old-fashioned charm; a bungalow from the 30’s that allows you to feel you are actually living the Hawaiian life. Privacy, quiet, and convenience. There is public access almost directly across the road and it was 5 minutes from walking out the door to snorkeling (we counted at least 3 dozen type of fish). Walk to the Beach House or Lawai Beach. We hope very much to return.

Shower glass needs a lot of attention. Beach towels need to be replaced. For the price we paid these items shouldn’t even be addressed. It would be nice to have had a few more spices to cook with. Had to ask for garbage bags and had to buy TP. There should be enough supplies for the duration of the stay.

The home that saved the storm

We had planned this trip for 3 years, saved up for it, wanted it to be a dream and life-long memory for our 18 year old son, graduating from HS shortly. It was his big gift, and our last vacation as a family while our son was in school and at home still. Then a huge week long storm came. If it weren't for this house, and the warm, adorable feel, the location, across the street from what is now my happy place on Earth, Baby Beach, we would have lost this dream. The house became our memory, and we made fabulous ones here. My husband and I have already told the neighbors (also wonderful), we will be back every year, we hope to bring our grandkids here (no pressure, 18-year-old son) (only child)! In short, we will be back. There is nothing this house is missing, especially the feeling of home. It actually reminds us of one of our former homes here in San Diego, the craftsman-style feel and so much comfort. They provided everything. And should it rain all day while you're there (unusual, it typically rains for only moments), go to Spouting Horn, magnificent in the rain, right up the street, or go for a run in the rain and collect fallen plumerias and put them in a huge bowl in your living room, it will make the whole house smell amazaing (I did this daily) There are always enough plumerias on the ground if you look. Take a walk around the park around the block and see the tribute to the King. Go to the shopping center up the street and brouse, the store owners are so kind and I got to know two of them over the week and brought one some art of my own. Take a nap with the bedroom door open and listen to waves crash while you read a book, take a BATH, the bathtub is amazing. And play a game with your family, because who has time to do that at home..... I mean really who does! You need vacation and rainy days for that. Well, it met all of our needs, I got to snorkle when the sun peeped out, although I did that in the rain too, and my son and husband spent their every moment they could body surfing at the famous Brenekes. My favorite day was our last full day. They took off for body surfing, and I went back and forth between Baby Beach and my home, as I was making art and reading a book, and running back and forth excited because I found the perfect piece of rock. To top it off, a friend from elementary school was right by us, and his family met mine on Baby Beach. we hadn't seen each other since 8th grade. Top that.

We loved the Little Grass Shack

This is a perfect place for a family vacation on Kauai. It was a short walk (less than 5 mins) to Baby Beach. There is snorkeling in a small coral bunch and the rest is sandy. The house was equipped with everything you could need for cooking, bbq, and towels for showering/beach. We will be back!

Great Location, Dated Ammenities

Reviewer Comments: We would recommend this to folks due to the location and cost if they were okay with some of the negatives mentioned below:Appearance/Cleanliness: The house is very cute and clean. The only cockroaches we ever saw were in the detached shed where the laundry is located.Parking: Easy with a small vehicle. A large truck or suburban would have issues.Washer/Dryer: Located in the shed and worked great.Location: 2 minute walk to Baby Beach, which we liked better than Poipu Beach due to the lack of crowds. It's a quick drive to some great local food.Air Conditioning: This was our biggest problem with the house. Locals told us while we were there that it was more humid than normal so maybe our experience would differ from someone who went during a cooler time. There are 6,000 BTU window AC units in each bedroom. Great for sleeping but we couldn't keep the rest of the house cool. Used fans to redirect the AC into the living room and kitchen but barely made a dent. Kitchen was way too hot to cook dinners in. **Add a third in the kitchen and would make a big difference.**Living Room: Great for quick sitting but not accommodating for watching movies.Kitchen: Appliances, though dated, did the job. Had everything we needed. Dining table seats two.Bedrooms: The master bed (queen) was surprisingly comfortable though very loud with the smallest movement. The kids room was a good size but the mattresses felt like cardboard. Our 4 year old son didn't know any different and slept just fine but had we gone with our teens or mother-in-law, they wouldn't have been able to sleep on the beds. Storage and outlets in both rooms were fine.Floors: the twine rugs were hard on our feet. I get they are there to catch sand but made it hard to walk barefoot in the house until our feet got used to them.Summary: We were not dissatisfied with this house and had an amazing trip but probably will look for something more modern next time.

Great beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had such a good time here. Close to multiple kid-friendly beaches, and easy to get to many other restaurants and interesting sites. The house could use a deep cleaning, but it is well stocked and we were comfortable there. We would stay here again on future visits. We only rated the property management company a 3 because they were highly unresponsive when messaged prior to our visit. Fortunately we did not need to contact them during our stay.
