(Kaksi hyvin lyhyttä kaupunkilohkoa) PADI-SHACK-niminen sukellusopettajien ammattiliiton jälkeen ... omistajat ovat innokkaita sukeltajia, jotka rakastavat jakaa kokemuksiaan vieraillemme. Pidätämme meidän varastotilaa meidän spearfishing, snorklaus, ja sukellusta laitteiden, mutta vierailijat usein haluavat mennä ulos hylyn kanssamme! Kannustamme heitä tekemään niin, ja nauti "matkaoppaiden". Ja meillä on paljon ystäviä, jotka olemme saaneet vuosien varrella, jotka ovat täällä suuren osan kesän. Sinulta tervetulleeksi "perhe" .... ja tulet rakastamaan sitä. Kolme makuuhuonetta, kaksi kylpyhuonetta, seulotaan kuisti aivan keittiö. Merinäkymistä ylempiin kerroksiin, jossa on kaunis maanpinnan kannelle patio huonekalut ja OBX tyyli vauhdissa. Omistajan live ole kaukana ja tekee mitä tahansa he voivat tehdä tästä paras loma IKINÄ!

Tupakointi kotona on syytä välittömään häätämiseen. kuten ovat väärin antaneet itsellesi, ikäsi tai ikäsi, tuoden kaikenlaisen lemmikin tai muuten olette vähemmän todenmukaisia. Great beach house

Loved the blue beach house :) My family stayed here over spring break. Walking distance to the beach and a quiet street location. Loved the beach blue decor, games and puzzles to play with the family. Great value for the Outerbanks and a family vacation :)

October getaway

Overall the property was great. Needing a few cosmetic fixes but a wonderful place to stay for the price. Our hosts Randy and Darlean are wonderful people. Very understanding and accommodating. Would absolutely stay with them again.

Great house, great location, steps from the beach for ALOT less than beachfront rentals. House was well aquainted with dishes, cups, dishwasher, clothes washer, etc, just show up and enjoy.

Comfortable, close to the beach and local attractions. Owners are very accommodating.. Great week !

We truly enjoyed our stay at Randy and Darlene’s padi-shack despite the rain in the beginning of the week. They were extremely friendly and accommodating , making sure we had a wonderful, comfortable vacation. The home is very close to the beach and a couple sports bar/ restaurants as well as the Wright Brothers Memorial and the local YMCA. We had plenty of things to keep us busy when the weather was rainy and loved the beach days when the sun came out !

Great spot !

Great spot near beach. Walked two blocks and were getting sun! Place is old but cozy. One large TV in living room to watch movies and play games. Family enjoyed it and would do it again. Thank you!

Fantastic owners and location

We couldn't be more pleased to have found this home at Kill Devil Hills. The owners are so kind and generous. We found ourselves in a bit of a pinch due to our own fault but they helped us out and were so gracious. We were even able to stay extra due to their generosity. The location is excellent...so close to food and the beach. The house was perfect for our needs and we all enjoyed being there and hope to come again. If you want to come to the Outer Banks, this is the place to stay!!

Enjoyable Weekend

This house met all of our needs (4 adults). The directions to the house were clear, the kitchen was roomy as we did a lot of cooking, and the living space was comfortable. The owner was very nice and he was in contact with me making sure I had all the instructions days before we arrived. There were no issues with anything. I would love to go back during the summer to enjoy the beach. It's a beautiful area to visit!

Wonderful OBX Vacation

Thanks so much for the use of you wonderful beach house,this was our first vacation to the outer Banks and we had a great time.. the beach house was clean and well furnished with everything you would need ,it was a very short walk to the beach,but yet it was on a nice quite street as well , due to hurricane Matthew coming through right before our stay ,we e-mailed the owners quite a few times with questions about the storm and they were very helpful to answer our questions...and where this house was located it had no storm damage ...we look forward to coming back and staying in this house again next year.. again thanks for all the accommodations!!

Memorial weekend trip

Property needs a few upgrades but other then that location and everything was good. A problem with the reservation process as I was trying to add days and didn’t really know they had no been changed till days before our trip. Left something back at the property and owner gladly met us out to give it back. Overall a pretty decent experience.

Great location, comfortable, as expected

Great experience booking with & communicating with Randy. Love the location, easy walk to the beach. Overall the house lived up to my expectations from the listing. Just about everything you need and comfortable, cool layout with lots of potential. As was mentioned in other reviews, the carpet has seen better days. There’s a few cobwebs here and there and we noticed there’s no oven mitts or a corkscrew in the house, but all very minor in the grand scheme. Left happy and would stay again.

Great house in excellent location

This was a perfect place for our family. We only had 4 people, but it could easily accommodate more. With bedrooms right off the common area it was easy for everyone to communicate, but there was plenty if room so it didn't feel cramped. The location is excellent- 2 grocery stores in walking distance as well as the beach itself. Also plenty of restaurant options. Jockey's Ridge and the Wright Memorial are very close by which are great for families. We really appreciated the kitchen with quality cookware and every kitchen gadget you could need. We do a lot of cooking and it's always disappointing to find cheap cookware and utensils. The dishwasher was silent - that's a big deal in a house as open as this. No need to wait for the middle of the night to run the dishwasher. Roku on all televisions was great- so easy to watch whatever we're accustomed to.The carpet and bathrooms were a little shabby, but for us that was a plus - we have kids, and it can be way too stressful when everything is pristine. We'd definitely like to stay at this house again when we next travel to that part of the coast!

2020 Vacation and Family Gathering

We liked the house, it was clean, full kitchen, counter space allowed us to prepare our meals, everyone had a place to sleep. The open space of the main room going up into the second floor makes the house feel bigger than it actually is. Which to us added to our stay, we didn't feel claustrophobic with our gang . Kitchen had all of the dinnerware, cooking items, utensils that we needed. Even a popcorn machine. House was centrally located between the highways with easy access to food, shopping and all of the activities OBX has to offer. Easy 3 and a half minute walk to the beach was another big plus for us and we took advantage of it. Bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. We used the covered porch for eating outside the whole time and just relaxing and talking. This covered porch is just off of the kitchen which made it really convenient to carry the food to the table for our meals. We used the inside dining table for our board games in the evenings. On the Monday of our week, the washer stopped working, within 4 hours of the phone call to Randy, they (Randy and Darlene) delivered the washer themselves and it was hooked up and working. It was great service. We used the washer and dryer everyday and it was great to go home with clean clothes. Less to do when arriving home. Because of the two inside showers, we didn't use the outside shower, it was still a big selling point for us because it was there if needed. Randy and Darlene made sure that we enjoyed our stay. We could not take them up on their offer to scuba or snorkel because of the cold June ocean water temperatures. Maybe next year, it would be great to get a local residents' stories and history of OBX.

We lived in this property for a long time while our daughter performed at the "Lost Colony" outdoor theater in Manteo. Now, we live just a few miles away in Southern Shores, and we want to share this cottage with guests. We have lived in this area all our lives, and we will be glad to share our knowledge of local information with you. Come on down....you will be most welcomed!
