Great get away

Absolutely wonderful. Perfect for familys and kid friendly. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the home in movie theater. It definitely made for an unforgettable first vacation as a family. We will definitely be back in the future.

Amazing!

We had so much fun staying here! My kids LOVED the pool, great location for everything you need and close to the beach. The house was immaculate and had everything you need for your stay. Rafael was easy to contact when needed and the property manager that lives upstairs is the nicest man. We will definitely be back!

Kitty hawk stay

The house was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say is that the master mattress was super uncomfortable. Just wished it had been comfier!

Great place for a small family!

This is a great place to stay for a small family! The pool is really nice, perfect size and the provided pool toys were an unexpected bonus. If you want a vacation where you don’t cook (no dishes!), and go out to eat every night then this is the place for you. Small kitchen was perfect for easy breakfasts and lunches by the pool. (You could cook if you chose, my goal was NOT to so this was ideal for us!). The kitchen had everything we needed for our dining plans for the week and to easily prepare lunches. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, but normally can’t please everyone with them so we travel with a foam topper and it definitely helps! Communication was great and the property manager on site was super helpful with any needs. Would recommend this place for families looking for a private pool and relaxing time!

Peaceful and Comfortable Family Beach House

Great little place for a family who loves the beach. We were comfortable as a family with 3 teens and parents. The private pool is spacious and perfect after a long beach day. The host on the second floor (separate from the house) was very welcoming and friendly and totally respected our privacy. The house is very clean, accessible and there are tvs in every room with a generous amount of channels. My teens also loved the movie theater/room to relax in the evenings. The property has good wifi and close proximity (5 minute walk) to the beach. Nearby are several restaurants, beach shops, gas stations and major grocery stores to buy anything you need. The property is equipped with appliances for light cooking, which worked out perfect for us. We all loved this property. Sharing a rental with teens that are hard to please, I'd say this trip was a huge win! I'd recommend this property to anyone.

Good location. Decent pool, nice movie room

Everything was very nice. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was a chilly weekend, but it looked very nice and the movie room was great. The beds were not the most comfortable.

Great Place!

Great location within walking distance of beach and lots of places to visit in the area! We especially loved the movie theater room, arcade, and heated pool! Definitely recommend and would love to come again!

Great place for a couple’s getaway

We had a great stay, though we only used the movie theater one night. The property is pretty clean and is close to the beach and a few good restaurants. Would stay here again.

Family trip

Stayed with my husband and three kids (9,10,12). Space was exactly what we needed. Pool and theatre room were great features. Close to the beach, but as mentioned in other reviews you have to cross a busy highway.

Nice vacation

Our stay was very relaxing and nice. We really loved having a nice pool to float around in. The media room was nice but there were TVs in every room so lying in bed watching tv and chilling was great. We wanted to us to volleyball sandpit, but it was a bit overgrown, so we spent a lot of time at pool which was great Nice little place. We would rent again. The Kitty Hawk area in general is great. Lots to do and plenty of places to eat at. Great location for that.

Great for small family

We had a great stay in Kitty Hawk. The house and pool were wonderful and a great space for our family. The only downfall was having to cross the busy road to get to the beach.

Great Location

Overall we had a great time. The accommodations were excellent and clean. We loved the movie theater room. It’s so convenient to beach and nice restaurants. Allowed us to explore the OuterBanks.

Quick Getaway

Very convenient location. Short drive to the beach with parking available if you don’t want to walk. Very close to tons of restaurants, coffee spots, ice creams, açaí etc. Theater room and arcade came in very handy as we sat through a tropical storm. We would stay again. Enough room for two couples with a few children.

Nice clean place. Not equipped to handle standard cooking. Great movie room. Convenient location.

Overall it's a nice property with a good location. If you plan to eat out a lot or just heat foods it works fine. Short drive time to shops and restaurants in OBX and Duck. Big open beach across the street within walking distance. I've stayed in every town along the outer banks for years and found this location to have the most available beach space for families to spread out even in July.

Beautiful, clean, and homey.

This was actually our second time visiting this property! It’s just as adorable and CLEAN as we remember. It’s walking distance to the beach and the Black Pelican (one of our fave restaurants) all while feeling like we’re at home away from home! We highly recommend it. We’ll be bringing our kids with us next year! Thanks for such a wonderful experience! It’s 10x better than staying in a hotel! P.S. The movie theater is amazing for rainy days or early nights.

Great stay!

It was a great property to stay at! Near everything you wanted to do. Drove to the beach, it’s across a busy road and I didn’t feel like lugging our stuff over but it was close enough to walk. We loved the private pool, and the game/theatre room was a huge hit! There is only a toaster oven and 1 single hot plate but it was plenty to make easy meals. All the essentials are there: towels, a few washcloths, hand soap, dish soap and sheets. There were not any dishcloths or dish towels which was fine, I just grabbed a small pack of each on our shopping trip. The only thing I found annoying were the lights on the walking path to the door. They were blinding me at night while walking. Otherwise, we loved every moment!! Thank you for letting us stay!

Nice cozy home - bring supplies though

Rafael is very responsive. The location is great, right across the street from the beach and right by a 7-11. Loved the home and the theatre was a nice touch. Only thing I wish I could change was more supplies. We only had 2 rolls of toilet paper, there were no shampoo/soap. There was also very little hand/dish soap. But besides that, I recommend this stay! just come supplied.

CHILLY OVERPRICED WEEKEND

This property is way over priced, especially for the off season. The place had a heated pool so I didnt care there wasnt a jacuzzi. I checked in Friday night and check out Sunday morning. So we really only stayed one whole day. 300 price 200 deposit 100 cleaning fee 50 service fee 59 insurance 50 tax 80 extra to heat the pool. So your looking at 800 for 2 nights. In the description it says heated pool but does not specify that it is an extra cost. The owner did not tell me there was an extra fee to heat the pool until a few hours before our arrival. I told him we were only needed the pool heated for the one day we were staying but was told I had to pay for 2 days because it takes hours to heat up thousands of gallons of water. Last time i checked there were 24 hours in one day. On our first night, I tried to bond with my teens by cooking dinner with them but the power kept going out. I had to find the breaker (in the dark in an unfamiliar setting) and hit it several times to finish cooking our dinner. The owners response to that was it was my fault for using the microwave and the hot plate at the same time. He said i disreguarded the "warning" sign but i did not see any signs anywhere. I even took pictures to make sure. I told him he should have an electrician look at his wiring just in case it was a fire hazard. He assured me the place wouldnt catch on fire during our stay. The owner was rude, intimidating and even threatened me. No compassion for a momt

Can't we just LIVE here?!

This place is BY FAR THE BEST place we've EVER stayed in! This is our second year returning to this rental and we never want to go anywhere else! We've stayed in huge houses on the beach and we've also stayed in motel rooms, so it's a happy medium in size, but as far as everything else, there's no place better. On top of never wanting to leave the house, the owners are as nice as they can be, they give you your privacy, but are very responsive with any questions or concerns. I didn't even step foot on the actual beach this year and it's the best vacation I've ever had! We're even considering trying to save up and book it for two weeks next year! I cannot say enough nice things about everything inside and out, including the owners. I just wish we would've found it sooner!

Very short walking distance to several attractions, beach, shopping, dining and church. No need to drive. Central location, easy access to Duck, Corolla or Hatteras. House was built in 2013 and it's remodeled and upgraded every year. Electronics are inspected before each check in to ensure the best experience.

Heated Salt Water Pool (additional fee for heating).

Property Manager lives upstairs. Available anytime if guests have questions or any issues.
