Täysin uusittu, 3 mh, 2 kylpy Ocean puolella rantamökki Salvo, Hatteras Colony, Outer Banks, N. C. Makuuhuoneet: Master - Queen Bed w taulutelevisio, 2. - Queen Bed, 3. - Pyramid Bunk kaksinkertaisella pohjassa ja yksi päälle. 2 Full kylpyjä: 1. master w suihku, 2. hallissa amme / suihku. Uusi keittiö täysin ladattu inventaario. Konseptin olo / ruokailuhuone. Olohuone on iso 48 "TV w DVD-soitin ja PS2 pelijärjestelmä w pelejä. Kirjoja, lehtiä, lautapelejä, heittää peitot ovat siellä nauttia. Uusi pesukone / kuivuri. Nauti wifi, ulkosuihku, 6 henkilöä kylpytynnyri, 2 turvatarkastus kuistia, 2 taso aurinkoterassilta. Minuutin kuulostaa puolella surffaus, meloa lennolle, vesihiihtoa, jne. Kävele 3 korttelin jäätelöä ostoksia. Liinavaatteet sisältyvät (ei pyyhkeet). Keurig ja tippua kahvinkeitin, leivänpaahdin, mikroaaltouuni, tehosekoitin, käsi mikseri kaikki käytettävissäsi.

Valtava kaksinkertainen paljon yksityisten grillauksen asemalle ja piknik-pöydän alue. Suuri uusi hiekkalauta aivan talon edessä niille, jotka haluavat surffailla!

Great Stay for Humans and Canines!

We enjoyed our stay! Great Location!!Thank you for being Pet Friendly. We were able to go Paddle Boarding with our dogs at the near by Sound Side Beach. As well as day visits to Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands!

Enjoyed our time there!

Even with the power outage it was really a nice visit. So enjoyed the house and believe it or not the outside shower was a life saver! House provided a lot of what we needed for entertainment at home and on the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing time away

This property was just the right size for meeting the needs of a small family. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes making it easy to enjoy sunrise on the beach every morning. We enjoyed the added amenities of having a hot tub and screened porch for relaxing.

This wonderful cottage has all a family needs to relax and feel at home. The hot tub was an added bonus, as was the extremely well equipped kitchen. The outside shower and top deck were amazing.

Relaxing and convenient getaway!

The Captain's Watch was perfect for our getaway with family and friends! We loved the quiet neighborhood with close beach access. Being able to walk to the ice cream shop was a big plus for everyone in our group! This home was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed to cook meals on a few nights. Would highly recommend this host and property.

Amazing stay

We loved this place! Had literally every kitchen gadget and supply you would need which was great! Beach access across the street and the cart they have is great to get over the dunes! Felt private and yet close to everything. Hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed every evening on the crows nest after our baby went to bed. Great for families and our dog loved the beach and neighborhood. Highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Great vacation

The captains watch is a great place to spend your vacation. It is located on a very private corner lot, which is nice when your relaxing in the hot tub. Kitchen has everything you could possibly think of if you like to cook, and they also have board games for the family. Overall, it is a clean and well kept home. 1st time staying at this property and won’t be our last! Perfect size for our family of four, outdoor shower absolute necessity for beach, hot tub & rooftop deck amazing to relax & enjoy the stars & sunsets every night! 5-7 minute walk to toes in the water for our youngest (7 yr. old) while carrying a few sand toys over the beautiful sand dunes. Such amazing sunrises!

Fun Week!

This was our second stay at Captain's Watch and we enjoyed ourselves once again! The cottage is a comfortable fit for our family of 4, well stocked with kitchen necessities if you plan to cook, and very close to the beach access. Family oriented neighborhood with uncrowded streets for the kids to go bike riding and a nice size yard for them to play in as well. Quick and easy communications with the homeowners as well. Thanks again for a great week at the ocean!

Family vacation

Location was great, beach 400 steps from the house. Wi-fi was sketchy, in and out. The rain had made virtual swamps of properties and roads which evolved into attack mosquitoes! Bring bug spray! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dinnerware and cookware. The only problems we had were the primary bathroom toilet not refilling to flush and the dryer screeched so loudly that we brought our wet washed clothes home. All in all, everything was great! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great house for our family and pup

The house was a perfect set up for our 2 small kids and our dog. We loved the screened in porch which helped contain our kids while we enjoyed our coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The top deck was great to watch the stars at night. We also took advantage of being able to walk to an ice cream shop! There are a lot of trees on this corner lot which made it feel cozy and private which we loved.

Hidden Gem in Salvo

We really enjoyed our stay at Captain's Watch. The kitchen was very well stocked and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and everyone had enough room to move around. I loved the screened in porch in the afternoon - especially if there was a breeze. I wish the water pressure in the outdoor shower was a little stronger, but there's probably nothing to be done about that. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Family Vaca 2021

We were very happy with our stay at Captains Watch. My husband and I had our 2 young adult daughters and they brought their significant others and even though the house isn't large we never felt crowded. We enjoyed the hot tub and my husband and 1 daughter loved the older Playstation 2 games (Galaga and PacMan). The walk to the beach from the house is across the road and dune, but we also had bought a Beach Pass to drive on the beach. We really enjoyed our time in OBX.

Welcoming home

Stay was cut short due to health emergency but it is lovely. Wish we could have stayed the week - did call the management about a shower faucet we could not turn on - never heard from them.

Well equipped property with really close beach access

We love OBX and have been coming here for the past 12 years. With that being said we really enjoyed our stay at the property. We were a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids ages 5 & 2) and we found everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen which was a nice surprise (we have been renting houses for years and often that's not the case). The living area was nice, bedrooms were comfortable, and multiple decks were a nice addition. Beach access was very close and the beach itself was not crowded at all. Very quiet area, about 30 minutes to Nags Head and 20 minutes from Avon which has Food Lion and decent amount of stores and restaurants.

A Very Nice Family Getaway

The property is located in a nice subdivision. We felt very safe walking the dogs at night. The beach is a short walk from the house. It was luxurious to hit the hot tub after a beach day. The screen room kept the bugs out and therefore we were able to enjoy the outdoor breeze while relaxing on the Adirondacks. We enjoyed star gazing on the third level deck! I hope to do this again next season! I thank Donna for her responsiveness and patience. Much appreciated!

Great Stay

First time staying in Salvo, and Captain's Watch was a great place to do it. We stayed for 2-weeks & was the first stop on a month long trip from MI to FL. Loved sitting in the hot tub most evenings. Because we were there the end of October/beginning of November, most days were cool & breezy, which we love. Our dog loved sitting on the screened-in porch enjoying the breeze. As a chef, my wife loved that the kitchen was well stock with all the cookware she needed to make our dinners each night. Unfortunately, we checked out early as their was a threat of an impeding storm. Very cute house & would stay again.

Nice Little Rental

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is close to the walking path to the beach. The house was stocked with all the things we needed. I loved that there was a TV in every bedroom which was nice because of the littles wanting to watch Disney and they could in their own room! ;) Another thing that was wonderful is the ice cream shop that is right down the road within walking distance for an after dinner treat. The only down side was the screens on the porch that were missing. We couldn't enjoy the porch in the evening because of the mosquitos. Overall, this home was a nice vacation spot.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Captain's Watch! The house was well stocked and had all the amenities we needed for our family of 5. Comfortable & cozy cottage in a nice quiet neighborhood - loved the large yard and trees so you don't feel right on top of other houses. We had a few cool days after remnants of a tropical storm went by that let us take advantage of the hot tub and deck areas where we could enjoy a nice ocean breeze and the sound of waves at night. On warmer days the ocean beach access was very close by with a nice walk over the dunes that leads to an uncrowded area to enjoy the waves. Sound access was also nearby (via car) at the salvo day use area which let us enjoy our kayaks and some smaller waves for the kids when the ocean was a little rough. We had a great time and would definitely consider returning!

Great home

This was my first time at Captain's watch and it will not be my last. It was clean and comfortable.The location of the house is perfect, with beach access right across the road. Has a private corner lot that's in a quiet neighborhood. It has everything you need for your vacation. The kitchen is very well stocked if you decide to stay in and cook your own meal. I like that they have a cart to transport all your items to the beach ,which was a nice surprise. The outside shower is nice to use to keep the sand out of the house. One of my favorites was relaxing in the evening on the front porch. I highly recommend the captains watch. See you in 2022

Welcome to our home! We live in Newport News and have enjoyed this special cottage for several years with our family and friends. Since our children are getting older and their schedules busier, we decided to make our house available for others to enjoy. We love to cook! We hope you enjoy the granite counter tops, large cabinets and cookware. Please feel free to use whatever you need and make yourself at home. We find the mattresses comfortable and cozy. Location, location, location...says it all. The beach access is right across the street, the large corner lot provides lots of privacy. The house is completely renovated, clean and easy to manage. The kitchen is bright, has storage for your items and everything you need to prepare as many meals as you want. The outdoor shower is great and so is the 5 person hot tub. Walk to ice cream, ride bikes, enjoy the peace and quiet of Salvo. There is no place like it. And the beach....we have never seen it crowded. It's wide and clean. There is lots of room to play, surf, pick shells. From the beach, look for the mile post 42 sign in the dunes and take the path to the left to get back to the cottage. Easy living.

Large corner lot with trees offers lots of privacy. Ocean beach access right across the street. Kitchen has everything you need to make cooking a breeze. The large living room and two screened in porches provides plenty of room to spread out. Central air, WiFi, 4 flat screen TVs and a sky full of stars. All you need is a bottle of wine, your streaming passwords, a HDMI cable and the kid's laptops! There are also restaurants and a little grocery/sandwich shop a few blocks away.
